Hey! App is approved for Advanced Commerce API and have generic product id (Consumable) for digital items purchasing. Uncertain on ho to test flow of pending purchase changing it's status to failed. As by docs BE side handling creating jws for purchase (also creates order to keep track of which items user bought) app with signed jws initiate purchase via product.purchase (send data for advancedCommercialData in options). If product purchase returns status .pending (still no transaction created) I notify BE that for that item (using item SKU) user has pending status for purchase, so that when user attempts to buy this exact item we do not create order duplicate. So the first question - do we need to check if user already made an attempt to buy this item and if item purchasing is pending decline another attempt of buying it? If user sends several requests to buy item under similar SKU for advanced commerce api do all of them will be charged or only one (does apple check SKU value when making a purchase of consumable product via advanced commerce api)? Another question is how to test purchase returns pending status for consumable item via advanced commerce api and then for that item (by SKU) changes status from pending to success? How to know (and eventually) test that after purchase of item via advanced commerce api firstly returns .pending status and then changes to .failure? I want to prevent users from trying to create order duplicates for single item, so when product purchase returns pending status I sent to BE id of item and order for this item on BE side will be marked as pending. So if user tries to buy this exact item once more and status of order on BE still .pending no new purchase will be initiated. So I need to know when purchase changes it's status to failed and then delete pending order on BE side, so that user will have an ability to initiate purchase for this item once more. How to tell whether .pending status for item changes to failed, will I be able in case of failed gather SKU that I previously passed in advancedCommercialData)?

The new version of our app uses Advanced Commerce API via in-app purchase. The app itself was approved but the in-app purchase associated with the app version is still Waiting for Review. Is there anything else we can do? Any way to expedite the review of the in-app purchase itself?

We are developing a platform (Ferve) where users subscribe to individual artists to access exclusive content. We use a user-centric remuneration model: each artist has an independent income pool, and funds from a specific subscription must be attributed solely to that artist. We have two critical challenges regarding our integration: Granular Financial Reporting for User-Centric Payouts As the Merchant of Record, Apple provides aggregate Financial Reports. However, these reports do not provide a breakdown of taxes, commissions, or exact exchange rates used for individual transactionId records. Though we can keep records of each transaction in our database, thus linking them with which artist they belong to, we are unable to collect fees/taxes applied to each individual transaction. Because our payouts are artist-specific, we need to deduct the exact regional taxes and Apple commissions from each transaction to calculate the artist's due balance. Currently, we can only see the final consolidated balance in BRL (Brazilian Reals) at the end of the month. Is there an API or report that provides the net proceeds and tax breakdown per transaction ID? How can we retrieve the exact exchange rate applied to foreign currency sales (e.g., EUR to BRL) before the final consolidation? Supporting Multiple Concurrent Subscriptions Our current App Store Connect configuration uses a single 'Subscription Group' for all artist 'Clubs' since they share the same price points. However, we have found that users cannot subscribe to more than one product within the same group simultaneously (the App Store treats this as an upgrade/downgrade). On our platform, a user must be able to subscribe to Artist A and Artist B at the same time. What is the recommended architecture for this? Should we dynamically create a unique Subscription Group for every artist onboarded to our platform? If we use unique groups, is there a limit to the number of Subscription Groups one app can have? Hey everyone, I really need help. My app versions keep getting approved for distribution and my subscriptions and business agreements are all approved. Yet, when the paywall in my app appears, and someone clicks the subscribe button to pay, the IAP isn't appearing. It just loads forever. When I tested in Xcode it just kept saying products not found. Id's are the same, bundle id is the same, ive done everything. Can someone help pls.

Hello, Our app is approved for the Advanced Commerce API and we are currently testing in the Sandbox environment only. We have created generic product identifiers and have already submitted them via the Advanced Commerce API Access form. However, the generic product status in App Store Connect is still “Ready to Submit.” For Sandbox testing, is this status expected, or do we need to submit an app build or the generic product for review before Advanced Commerce works correctly? We've been approved for the Advanced Commerce API. After receiving the approval, we completed the initial setup requirements (submitted a generic product ID and shared our subscriptions page deep link). When testing the Migrate Subscription to Advanced Commerce endpoint in the sandbox, we receive a 5000000 error. What could be the reason/s for it? There is no information, and the API call we make includes all required parameters. Could it be related to the fact that our new generic product ID status is "Missing Metadata"? Is there a way to understand what the issue is on Apple's side?

We created a new subscription group for Advanced Commerce and are about to add the subscription(s) inside that group. Should we create one auto-renewable subscription (generic, e.g. subscription.ac) to represent all of our subscriptions, or one generic per product family (e.g., product1.ac, product2.ac, …)? If the answer depends on whether subscribers can hold multiple products simultaneously, please advise which structure supports that (e.g., separate groups). Reporting identifiers / segmentation: In Sales and Trends and Payments & Financial Reports, which identifier(s) will appear after migration: the legacy StoreKit product_id, the new generic product id, and/or the SKU? If we use a single generic subscription for all products, what’s Apple’s recommended way to segment revenue by product (Product 1 vs. Product 2)? If SKUs don’t surface in these reports, should we prefer multiple generics/groups to preserve report-level segmentation?

I was trying out the Migrate a Subscription to Advanced Commerce API but the API was just simply returning not found to me with a generic error code 4040000 (this is undocumented in the API doc). Hi! My product SKU has been approved for Advanced Commerce API. I successfully receive a purchase pop-up with the correct information. However, I am still having issues with completing the purchase. I always receive Unauthorize error when I confirm the purchase (subscription in my case; see the screenshot). I am using the node.js server library to sign the request. I made sure that the account is a valid account enabled for Sandbox. Logs unfortunately don't indicate any further detail. Thanks for your advice!
