Apple Developer Support
The situation is as follows:
Recently, we upgraded from an individual developer account to a company account about 2–3 weeks ago.
When it came time to renew the account, it was strange that the fee displayed was $99 instead of $299. We had no way to change this, so we proceeded with the $99 payment.
After that, Apple introduced new terms and conditions. When we tried to accept them, the account status did not change at all. I clicked “Accept” many times, but it remained in pending status. When I checked the browser console (F12), I noticed that Apple was returning a 500 error, but this error was not shown anywhere in the UI.
I have called and emailed Apple support many times. However, they insist that our company account is already active and that we just need to accept the terms and conditions. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept them due to the error returned by Apple’s system. I explained this to them, but they still insist that we simply follow their instructions.
As a result, we are currently stuck and do not know how to proceed so that the account can be fully activated and our app can return to the Apple App Store:
We accepted Apple's terms on the 22nd.
Organization account with $99, unclear why:
I've clicked accept many times but it didn't work (Apple error 500), and the status remains pending:
Therefore, I am hoping to get help from this forum in case anyone has experienced a similar issue and found a solution.

I get a lot of downloads from outside USA but almost no conversion (subscription/IAP) from those countries.
Apple App Store does the price conversion based on currency conversion and VAT but it does not take into account that $10 in India or Argentina is a much bigger portion of ones income compared to a US person.
Converting all these prices (175 of them) manually is very cumbersome for each subscription tier and for each region.

Can't Edit Age Ratings in App Information Section of App Store Connect for released App Versions. I only have option to View. I think some of the Age Rating questions are still unanswered but when I view them, I can't Edit them. Non-released apps of mine in App Store Connect allow me to edit answers to the Age Ratings questions but I can only View Age Rating questions for released apps. Do I have to create a new version/build and submit to App Store Connect to be able to Edit the Age Questions?
The title says by itself.
We've been using advanced app clips a lot and have created more than hundreds of advanced app clips for the customers.
Suddenly, few days ago, the most recently created advanced app clips stopped working as they got stuck with CREATE_SUBMITTED status.
It seems like it has already happened before to someone else: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/763374
It probably be OK if it showed a Safari notification but it shows an error due to another bug reported here: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/803187
There’s still debate on what drives App Store rankings, but some confirmed factors include app name, subtitle, keyword field, downloads, ratings, and in-app events. Likely influences are stability, retention, conversion rate, and user behavior. Search relies most on metadata, Top Charts focus on download velocity, and Featured spots are editorially chosen. Elements like promo text, long description, and release notes don’t impact rankings.

I’m trying to clarify keyword usage in App Store Optimization. Apple’s docs suggest you can use phrases like “Near Me” instead of separating words with commas (“Near,Me”). Does assigning phrases directly improve ranking compared to letting Apple combine single keywords?

I have been exploring App Store Optimization and noticed that Apple primarily uses the App Name, Subtitle, and Keyword field as the main text based ranking signals according to official and third party sources.
Are these the only factors that truly impact iOS ASO, or do elements like the app description and promotional text indirectly influence visibility, conversion, or ranking updates over time, and how frequently should subtitles and keywords be revised after launch.

App Store Connect
Hello everyone,
I’m stuck with an App Store Connect issue and would really appreciate any insight from the community.
I am unable to submit my app for review due to the following persistent error:
“Unable to Add for Review – There are still preview uploads in progress.”
What makes this particularly confusing is that there are no previews currently uploading.
Here is everything I have already tried:
Deleted all App Preview videos and all screenshots
Confirmed Media Manager shows no active uploads
Re-uploaded App Preview videos fully compliant with Apple specs:
H.264
AAC stereo audio
Constant 30 FPS
Correct resolution
Uploaded a new build with a higher build number (Build 3)
Waited more than 24 hours after upload
Logged out / logged in, refreshed, tried multiple browsers and sessions
Confirmed TestFlight build upload completed successfully
Despite all of this, the error persists and also prevents:
Adding the app for review
Creating a new app version (the “Add Version” button does not appear)
Apple Developer Support has suggested submitting a higher build number, which I have done, but the issue remains.
At this point, it seems like a stuck / ghost App Preview upload job on the App Store Connect backend.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
If so:
How was it resolved?
Did Apple need to manually clear or reset something on their side?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

I want that the user can watch a short clip in the App Store before the user decides to download my game in the App Store. I want to upload a clip to App Store Connect but I don't know how to do that.
And I get this warning:
To provide metadata for your app clip, you must first upload a build to App Store Connect that contains a clip.
Is it necessary that the user can watch the clip in my game or should the video file just be included in the build even if the clip cannot be watched in my game?
Is it necessary to upload the clip first to YouTube and then paste the URL in App Store Connect?

In App Store Connect I can add up to 10 images for each iPhone/iPad display. But I don't know which resolution is the best for my screenshots in the App Store and I don't know if the screenshots could be displayed distorted if I don't upload png images for each iPhone/iPad display in App Store Connect.
Should I upload for each iPhone/iPad display up to 10 screenshots in the highest possible resolution?
For example, for the iPhone 6.5" display it would be 1284 × 2778px or 2778 × 1284px.

As the title says, I am enrolled in the small business program but Apple still takes about 30% of my sales. Most of my sales are from Swedish customers, not sure if this matters.
For instance I have an app with sales of: $109
After apples cut I am left with: $74
74/109 = 0.68.
Why is this? I have non consumable IAP in my app.

I'm ready to submit a new app with 3 subscription plans. But the status of the group remains 'Prepare for Submission.' And it won't change. All the individual subscription plans have the 'Ready to Submit' status. I have triple-checked individual plans to see if there is anything missing. No. Nothing is missing. There are no pending business contracts to review, either. I have even deleted an existing group and created a whole new subscription group. And I still end up with this prepare status. Am I the only one having this subscription group difficulty?
One thing that I realize is that the status appears as 'Ready to Submit' on individual subscription plans. But their respective localization pair of display name and description get the Prepared status. The display name and the description fields are both filled for all three plans. What a nice, merry, merry Christmas.
I don't know what else I can do to resolve this Prepared madness. I've been stuck for 4 hours.

I want to publish my game next year in the Apple App Store but I want to choose the time period manually. Can I upload my game for app review without releasing it automatically afterwards?
Where exactly can I choose in App Store Connect if my game is published automatically or manually after the app review process?
Currently I only use TestFlight.

I was planning to add the Facebook SDK in one of the releases, and I had everything prepared (including changing the privacy policy to state that my app tracks users for advertising). I changed the privacy policy in the App Store connect, thinking that this wouldn't take effect until I sent the app to review. However, after careful consideration, I decided not to move on with the Facebook SDK. My app does not currently track users for advertising. Even though I sent a new release (UI improvements only), I still can't change the privacy policy to remove that my app "tracks" the user.
I read multiple posts with people facing similar issues. For my binary, I have:
No PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy file
NSUserTrackingUsageDescription in Info.plist
No tracking declarations in my app configuration
I contacted support, and I was redirected here. My case number is 102778907920
I launched my app on the App Store and Google Play about two months ago and despite improving the icon and screenshots I have only reached around 40 downloads which makes me believe ASO is my main challenge.
I started using ASO tools like TryAstro and AppTweak but the keyword metrics such as volume 39 and difficulty 0 are confusing so I would appreciate guidance on interpreting this data and on effective ASO strategies for a new app with minimal downloads or ratings.

When logging into appstoreconnect I get the option to use a password or passkey:
Password works fine. However passkey always results in:
This is probably because I don't actually have any passkeys:
So I think what is happening is that Apple thinks I have a passkey, which is why it's offering that as an option. I can't see any option to create a passkey, or regenerate one.
I'm not sure how I've ended up in this state. I have a vague memory that sometime years ago when passkeys were first introduced on appstoreconnect that I tried to create one, but because it wouldn't let me store it in BitWarden, I backed out.
It's not a major problem because I can still log in using password. But I'm worried in case some time in the future passkey becomes the only option.
Does anyone know of any way I can reset or regenerate my passkey for appstoreconnect?

I am encountering a persistent error in App Store Connect when attempting to save URLs in the App Clip URLs section of my app version.
The issue is as follows: When I enter the URL (e.g., https://4o.c.smart321.com/c/l0) and click save, I receive a 409 Conflict error with the code ENTITY_ERROR.ATTRIBUTE.TYPE. The error detail states: "does not match the uri pattern must be a valid RFC 3986 URI".
The Error Log:
{
"errors" : [ {
"id" : "9f032dd6-f456-4c90-ad9c-245c5ed041d7",
"status" : "409",
"code" : "ENTITY_ERROR.ATTRIBUTE.TYPE",
"title" : "An attribute in the provided entity has the wrong type",
"detail" : "does not match the uri pattern must be a valid RFC 3986 URI",
"source" : { "pointer" : "/data/attributes/invocationUrls/1" }
} ]
}
Conflicting Status: Interestingly, the exact same URL has already been configured under Advanced App Clip Experiences, where it currently shows a status of "Received".
My AASA file is https://4o.c.smart321.com/.well-known/apple-app-site-association
I have verified that the URL follows the standard HTTPS format and contains no hidden characters. Could you please clarify why the URL is being rejected in the App Version section while being accepted in the Advanced Experiences section?
