Can't Edit Age Ratings in App Information Section of App Store Connect for released App Versions. I only have option to View. I think some of the Age Rating questions are still unanswered but when I view them, I can't Edit them. Non-released apps of mine in App Store Connect allow me to edit answers to the Age Ratings questions but I can only View Age Rating questions for released apps. Do I have to create a new version/build and submit to App Store Connect to be able to Edit the Age Questions?

In previous versions of the simulator, it was possible to import files into the Files app by dragging them from the Finder into the Simulator. It appears that in the iOS 26 Simulator, this opens the file in Safari.
I've only tried it with .json files so far.
The documentation at https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/sharing-data-with-simulator says that the original behaviour should happen:
To add files to Simulator, select one or more files in Finder on your Mac, then click the Share button. Select Simulator from the share destination list. Choose the simulated device from the drop-down list. Simulator opens the Files app, and lets you select where to save the files.
I'd love to learn if this is intentional behaviour, and if so, what workarounds there might be. I use this pattern quite a lot, as I have a HealthKit app, and I've built a system that allows me to export workouts as JSON files from a real device, that I can then import into a simulator for testing.
Edit: I found a workaround. Make a folder in Files.app, then search for it within ~/Library/Developer/CoreSimulator/Devices. Open the folder in Finder, then add any files you want to be available in the Simulator.
Hi everyone,
I subscribed to the Apple Developer Program on Tuesday evening, November 4th, 2025. The payment has already been charged to my bank account, but my account still shows the status “Pending” with the message “Subscribe your membership”.
It’s now been several days, and I haven’t received any confirmation email or any request for additional information.
I already contacted Apple Support by email, but I’d like to know if other developers have experienced the same situation and how long it took before their account was activated.
Thanks in advance for your help and feedback!

Hey there,
We've been using App Store Connect API to manage (create/update) Advanced App Clip Experiences via App Store Connect API.
Everything has worked fine, we've been able to successfully manage hundreds of app clips but all of a sudden starting on December 15th the API started returning the following error:
"id" => "1e15b36b-5347-4af0-9bab-7f6626ffec65"
"status" => "409"
"code" => "ENTITY_ERROR.INCLUDED.INVALID_ID"
"title" => "The provided entity id is invalid"
"detail" => "The provided included entity id 'EN' has invalid format"
"source" => array:1 [▼
"pointer" => "/included/0/id"
]
It does seem to be an API bug considering it has always worked fine and we didn't change anything on our side, the /included/0/id value has always been EN and never changed.
Moreover, EN still seems to be a valid value according to the API docs and there are no changes reported of that field in the API release notes.
Here's the request ID: 1e15b36b-5347-4af0-9bab-7f6626ffec65
I've tried using different values through trial and error (en, EN, EN-US, ...) and none of them worked.
Since WatchOS 8.0.1 CoreBluetooth drops an active connection if the App goes to background (or back to foreground).
This can be reproduced easily with this sample code:
Interacting with Bluetooth Peripherals During Background App Refresh
If you run the app on the Apple Watch and turn your wrist, an active connection is terminated.
In the output window you can read:
2021-10-20 20:22:41.210839+0200 BARBluetooth WatchKit Extension[382:94603] [BluetoothReceiver] disconnected from Sender.
The same is the case with my other Watch Apps, that are connecting to BLE devices.
As far as I remember, with WatchOS 8.0 everything was fine.
Since this occurs even on WWDC21 sample code this must be a bug.
Is there a way to fix it for myself, or do I have to wait until it gets fixed by Apple?
Hi all,
I'm looking for a way to upload app builds to App Store Connect on Windows and Linux (I know on MacOS we can use Xcode to do that).
I found that the Transporter command line tool could be used for this task here - https://help.apple.com/app-store-connect/#/devb1c185036. Then I did some research on the Transporter, and found that to download it you need to be approved by Apple for qualification in here - https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/movies/faq/Transporter_Getting%20Set%20Up. Other than this I can't find much info on exactly how to get access to the tool. Surprisingly not much resources about this on the Internet, and all the apple doc seems very vague on this.
So my question is: Can the Transporter tool really be used to upload builds to App Store on Windows and Linux? If yes, what is the exact steps to get access to it? Has anyone been able to go through the process and use the tool?

Export archive step fails in Xcode Cloud when using Xcode 26.2 (17C48) RC.
The same project exports successfully when switching back to Xcode 26.1 in Xcode Cloud workflow settings.
The same project exports successfully when using Xcode 26.2 RC locally.
Projects without Apple Watch app do not encounter this issue (not so sure about this).
From Xcode Cloud UI:

Workaround
Switching Xcode Cloud workflow to use Xcode 26.1 works around the issue.
Using Xcode 26.2 RC locally works around the issue.
We have an app in Swift that uses push notifications. It has a deployment target of iOS 15.0
I originally audited our app for iOS 26 by building it with Xcode 26 beta 3. At that point, all was well. Our implementation of application:didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken was called.
But when rebuilding the app with beta 4, 5 and now 6, that function is no longer being called.
I created a simple test case by creating a default iOS app project, then performing these additional steps:
Set bundle ID to our app's ID
Add the Push Notifications capability
Add in application:didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken: with a print("HERE") just to set a breakpoint.
Added the following code inside application:didFinishLaunchingWithOptions: along with setting a breakpoint on the registerForRemoteNotifications line:
UNUserNotificationCenter.current().requestAuthorization(options: [.badge, .alert, .sound]) { granted, _ in
DispatchQueue.main.async {
UIApplication.shared.registerForRemoteNotifications()
}
}
Building and running with Xcode 26 beta 6 (17A5305f) generates these two different outcomes based upon the OS running in the Simulator:
iPhone 16 Pro simulator running iOS 18.4 - both breakpoints are reached
iPhone 16 Pro simulator running iOS 26 - only the breakpoint on UIApplication.shared.registerForRemoteNotifications is reached.
Assuming this is a bug in iOS 26. Or, is there something additional we now need to do to get push notifications working?

I've been attempting to enroll in the Apple Developer Program since mid-October 2025, but I consistently receive an "Unknown Error - Please try again" dialog

After updated to Tahoe 26.2 and Xcode 26.2 it seems to have forgotten the Model Provider I had configured. I create a new Model Provider and it works fine, until I exit Xcode. When I open Xcode again my Model Provider is gone.
It all worked fine before I did the updates of MacOS and Xcode.
I am trying to learn Xcode and swift ui for a class project but the attribute inspector just does not show up, I can have the simulator open or closed I click on it nothing works. I feel so stupid. I suppose you don't need it but it helps a lot. anyone have any trouble shooting that could help?

I'm using one UITabBarController which leads to 6 NavigationController. Therefore the user will get 4 icons displayed and one icon with three points to see the rest of the Navigation Controller.
If the user now tries to edit the list and moves one item from the hidden area towards the TabBar at the bottom, the App crashes with the error:
Exception
NSException * "Can't add self as subview" 0x0000600000d16040
I can see this effect at least on both my apps.
If the same compilation is run on a older iOS version, there is no crash.
Is there anything I have to take care of the configuration of the TabBar, when it comes to iOS26?

Is there a way to display a .icon file in SwiftUI? I want to show the app icon in the app itself but exporting and including the app icon as a PNG feels redundant. This would consume a lot of unnecessary storage especially when including a lot of alternative app icons. There has to be a better way
Otherwise I would file a feedback for that
Thank you
I work on a universal app that targets both iPhone and iPad. Our iPad app currently requires full screen. When testing on the latest iPadOS 26 beta, we see the following warning printed to the console:
Update the Info.plist: 1) `UIRequiresFullScreen` will soon be ignored. 2) Support for all orientations will soon be required.
It will take a fair amount of effort to update our app to properly support presentation in a resizable window. We wanted to gauge how urgent this change is. Our testing has shown that iPadOS 26 supports our app in a non-resizable window.
Can someone from Apple provide any guidance as to how soon “soon” is? Will UIRequiresFullScreen be ignored in iPadOS 26? Will support for all orientations be required in iPadOS 26?
Xcode 26.2 RC has been out for over 24 hours and it's still not possible to submit apps.
Is there any documentation about the server to server notification, specifically what sort of data Apple servers send to our server when there is an update to users who used Sign in with Apple?
#1) The docs for the significantAppChangeApprovalRequired option (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/declaredagerange/agerangeservice/parentalcontrols/significantappchangeapprovalrequired) are a bit unclear of the meaning. If this is set to true, does that mean (a) its an indication from Apple that the user is in a jurisdiction that requires approvals for significant app changes or (b) the App store has detected a significant app change and the app needs to use PermissionKit to re-obtain approval.
#2) In section Sec.A121.053 of SB2420, it states "The
developer of a software application shall provide notice to each app store through which the developer makes the software application available before making any significant change..." and there are several subsections that define what constitutes a signficant app change that include items like "change of personal data stored", etc.
How can developers notify the app store that a significant change has occurred and how can the app then query the app store to detect these changes?
When I create a SwiftUI toolbar item with placement of .keyboard on iOS 26, the item appears directly on top of and in contact with the keyboard. This does not look good visually nor does it match the behavior seen in Apple's apps, such as Reminders. Adding padding to the contents of the toolbar item only expands the size of the item but does not separate the capsule background of the item from the keyboard. How can I add vertical padding or spacing to separate the toolbar item capsule from the keyboard?

I recently created a Sandbox account and successfully added an Apple Pay test MasterCard to the sandbox Wallet to run a test.
Yesterday, I created a different account and tried to add a MasterCard on another device, but I received a "Card device limit" error.
I then deleted the card from the original device (where it had been successfully added) and tried to re-add it, but this device also failed.
I was able to confirm that a JCB card can be added, but I need to test with MasterCard. What should I do to resolve this?
