Swift Student Challenge environment selection question (iOS 26)
Hello, I recently submitted my Swift Student Challenge app playground (“Crest”) and realized after submission that I accidentally selected Swift Playgrounds as the software to run it, instead of Xcode 26 or later. My project builds and runs successfully in Xcode 26 using the iOS 26 SDK and simulator. However, when opening the same .swiftpm project in the Swift Playgrounds app on iPad, it does not compile because Swift Playgrounds currently only supports up to iOS 18 SDK and does not support iOS 26 APIs. The submission itself is complete, builds correctly in Xcode, and was submitted before the deadline. The incorrect selection of Swift Playgrounds was an honest mistake during the submission process. I wanted to ask whether reviewers are able to run the submission using Xcode 26 in cases like this, or if there is anything I should do. Thank you very much for your time.

Behavior & Context The crash occurs during normal HTTPS networking using standard URLSession (no direct usage of Network.framework nor boringssl APIs). It appears to be triggered during QUIC connection establishment or TLS fallback. The stack trace contains no application code frames — all symbols are from system libraries. The crash strongly indicates double-free, over-release, or dangling pointer inside nw_protocol_boringssl_options deallocation. 3. Questions for Apple Is this a known issue in iOS 26 within Network.framework / boringssl related to nw_protocol_boringssl_deallocate_options? What is the root cause of the over‑release / invalid objc_release in this path? Is there a workaround we can implement from the app side (e.g., disabling QUIC, adjusting TLS settings, or queue configuration)? Do you have a target iOS version or patch where this issue will be fixed? We can provide full crash logs and additional metrics upon request. 4. Additional Information Developed using Swift 5, with a deployment target of iOS 12+. Thank you for your support.

Different team ID's on my certs
I've seen a few posts about this online and it seems that Xcode generates random team ID's with it's automatic signing system. But I haven't seen any way to make this work properly. If I log into the dev portal and look at my account, in the upper right I can see my team ID. If I manually generate a cert, I get a totally different one. Question: How can I generate a cert with my proper team ID (my paid account) where the ID's on my certs, identifiers and profiles all match? I've never had this issue before and am unsure how to solve it.

Is Xcode Intelligence Ready for Production? My Experience and a Quest for Better Tools
I am looking to optimize my AI-assisted workflow within Xcode. Previously, my process was inefficient: Manually selecting and copying code snippets from Xcode into Gemini. Asking a specific question (e.g., "Modify this to show an alertError message box"). Copying the result back into Xcode. I attempted to switch to the new native Intelligence feature in Xcode to streamline this, but I found significant shortcomings: Latency: The response time is noticeably slow. Much slower than asking directly on Gemini 3 Pro. Lack of Context: The AI often fails to grasp the full project context. For example, it frequently claims it cannot see the code for ScannerView even though it is part of the project. I often have to prompt it multiple times before it finally "finds" the file. Is Xcode's Intelligence feature actually production-ready yet? If not, what tools do you recommend that integrate well with iOS development? To be clear, I am not looking for "vibe coding." I have a clear grasp of the problem and the high-level solution. My goal is to delegate the low-level implementation to the AI. I need a tool that has full project context from the start, eliminating the need to manually copy-paste snippets into a chat window.

Apple Developer Program membership purchased but still being asked to renew — cannot access services
I recently purchased the Apple Developer Program — 1 Year Membership, and the payment has been successfully processed. However, even after the purchase, I am still being prompted to renew my membership and cannot access any of the developer services that should be available with an active membership. It is very frustrating to pay for a membership and then be told to renew it again without being able to use the services I paid for. The membership status does not seem to reflect the completed purchase at all. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Why does Apple charge for a membership and then continue to block access while asking for renewal? I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this, or if an Apple representative could look into my account. Thank you.

What actionable strategies are most effective for optimizing an app’s ranking on the App Store?
Getting early traction can be challenging for a retail app. Beyond running ads, work on improving your App Store and Play Store presence through better screenshots, descriptions and keyword choices. You can also promote the app directly to existing customers with in store QR codes, social media and small influencer partnerships to get your first new users.

CallKit Call Directory database corruption (sqlite Code 11)
Hi everyone, I’ve filed a Feedback report (FB20986470) for a serious issue affecting the Call Directory database when add phone numbers for call blocking. When adding blocking numbers to a Call Directory extension, the system’s CallKit database (/private/var/mobile/Library/CallDirectory/CallDirectory.db) becomes corrupted. The reload call (reloadExtensionWithIdentifier) fails with error code 11 when the system tries to insert blocking entries, and the Console app on macOS shows the following errors: database corruption page 2265525 of /private/var/mobile/Library/CallDirectory/CallDirectory.db at line 81343 of [f0ca7bba1c] database corruption at line 79387 of [f0ca7bba1c] Error Domain=com.apple.callkit.database.sqlite Code=11 "sqlite3_step for query 'INSERT INTO PhoneNumberBlockingEntry (extension_id, phone_number_id) VALUES (?, (SELECT id FROM PhoneNumber WHERE (number = ?))), (?, (SELECT id FROM PhoneNumber WHERE (number = ?))),...)'" After this happens, CallKit becomes fully corrupted on the device and no further numbers can be added, even after: Disabling and re-enabling the extension Restarting the device (either force or soft restart) Reinstalling the app Waiting for a couple of minutes after this issue happens (that CallKit could possibly self-recovered) I also tested other call-blocking apps, and they all fail with the same error. The only thing that recovers the system is a full “Reset All Settings.” This issue has been reported by many users of my app, across multiple iOS versions and devices. Similar related issue reported by another developer: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/806129 Steps to Reproduce: Enable the Call Directory extension from a call-blocking app. Add and reload blocking numbers (a few thousand entries). Perform multiple reloads between additions. Check the Console, the corruption errors appear. From this point, all insert attempts fail system-wide. Expected Result: Entries should be inserted successfully, or the system should self-recover without persistent corruption. Actual Result: sqlite3_step fails with Code=11, and the Call Directory database remains corrupted until the user resets all settings. Additional Notes: All numbers are sorted and deduplicated before insertion. Happens intermittently after multiple reloads. The system log always shows internal database failure. Environment: Device: iPhone 16 Plus iOS 18.2 Beta (23C5027f) Xcode 16.1 (17B55) Attachments (included in Feedback FB20986470): sysdiagnose captured immediately after the failure (with Phone app General Profile) It seems like a system-level corruption affecting all Call Directory extensions once it occurs.

Demo Content or Not for Submission
Hello. We've developed a compatibility engine for the App Store. We collect very detailed profile information from users and use this information to dynamically calculate compatibility scores with the help of AI, recommending users to each other. The app is newly completed and we don't have any real users yet. My questions are: We are at the initial approval stage, Should we submit a completely empty application, or will the reviewer account create accounts with matching genders? Should we create one or more fake users? We have profiles that we created as demos (to inspire users) and indicated with a badge as "demo"s, but these don't appear in the "Explore" section. Should we add these people to the explore section? Assuming the people appearing in the explore section are demos, should the "request to meet" button be active for these demo content? Should it be possible to chat with demo people? After the submission is approved, will we delete the fake people or remove the demo people from the Explore section again? Is this possible? Which approach is correct to avoid being perceived as "fake content"?

Apple Developer Program Enrollment Pending for Over 3 Weeks (Identity Verification)
Hi everyone, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program on February 1, 2026. I completed payment, signed the agreement, and uploaded my government-issued ID after support requested identity verification. I received confirmation that my documents were received, but my membership is still pending. It has now been over three weeks with no activation or clear update. I have contacted support multiple times and even called, but I am still waiting. Has anyone experienced a similar delay recently? Is this normal for identity verification in certain regions? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Waiting for Review for a month and running
My app has been sitting in "Waiting For Review" for a month now, this coming week. I understand that it takes some time to review an app but I didn't realize it takes this long. I have deployed apps in the past and it took 1-2 days only. I just couldn't understand what's taking it that long this time. The app ID of the app I recently submitted is 6756655072. Please provide at least a specific timeframe of the review process so developers can also manage properly. It's really difficult to be patient in something that doesn't even respond properly. Please help and hope you see this post from a dev's point of view. Thank you.

UIScreen.isCaptured and sceneCaptureState report inactive while system screen recording continues when Live Activity is expanded
Hi, I’m trying to reliably detect when system screen recording finishes, and I’m observing behavior that I don’t fully understand when a Live Activity is expanded via Dynamic Island. Environment Devices: iPhone 16 Pro iOS: 26.2 Xcode: 26.2 Using UIScreen.isCaptured and UIWindowScene.sceneCaptureState Implementation: I observe capture state like this: private var observation: NSKeyValueObservation? func startObserving() { observation = UIScreen.main.observe(\.isCaptured, options: [.new]) { _, change in print("isCaptured:", change.newValue ?? false) } } I also check: window.traitCollection.sceneCaptureState Steps to Reproduce Start system screen recording from Control Center. Confirm UIScreen.main.isCaptured == true. Expand a Live Activity via the Dynamic Island (e.g. timer or call). Observe capture state values while the Live Activity UI is expanded. Observed Behavior While screen recording is still active: UIScreen.main.isCaptured becomes false sceneCaptureState becomes .inactive This state persists while the recording Live Activity is expanded The system recording indicator remains visible The device continues recording Expected Behavior (or Clarification Needed) My understanding was that UIScreen.isCaptured indicates whether the device screen is currently being captured (e.g. screen recording or mirroring). However, this behavior suggests that both isCaptured and sceneCaptureState reflect whether the current scene is part of the capture surface, rather than whether device-level recording is active. Is this the intended behavior when system-owned surfaces (such as expanded Live Activities) are promoted above the app’s scene? If so: Is there any supported way to reliably detect device-level screen recording state (as opposed to scene-level capture participation), in order to trigger logic when recording finishes? Thank you for any clarification.

Trapped in a "Black Box": Almost 3 weeks of App Review silence and ignored support tickets. Is this normal?
Hi everyone, I am writing this out of pure desperation because I honestly don't know what else to do or where to turn. My app has been stuck in the review process since February 9th (almost 3 weeks now), and I feel like I am completely trapped in a black box. I have tried every official channel available to get at least some information: I submitted requests for an expedited review. I opened 3 separate tickets with Developer Support, but received absolutely zero response. Just complete, deafening silence. I finally called the developer hotline. The representative was polite but completely unhelpful. I was basically told that "everything is fine, this timeline is normal, we can't do anything to help you, just keep waiting." Just to put this wait time into perspective, while sitting in this Apple "black box" waiting for a single message, I have managed to do the following: Registered a Google Play Developer account and fully verified my identity. Almost completely rewrote my entire app from scratch, translating it from Swift to Kotlin. Uploaded the Android version, got it approved, and I am already on Day 8 of closed testing in Google Play! Meanwhile, in App Store Connect, absolutely nothing has changed. No status updates, no rejections, no questions from the reviewers, no replies to my tickets. Just an absolute void. Has anyone else experienced this kind of extreme delay and complete lack of communication recently? For context, here are my details: Submission ID: db1ffb72-8f0f-49bc-b215-179e1e179b7d Apple ID: 6756239914 Any advice or shared experiences would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.

Your payment authorisation failed on card
I tried to enroll for the Apple Developer Membership but keep failing at the payment authorization. Used different cards (7 of them) that was setup on my Apple Pay which I have been using them for daily expenses. So no issue on those cards. Anyone experiencing the same issue as me and how did you resolve it?

Please include the line below in follow-up emails for this request. Case-ID: 11089799 When using AVSpeechUtterance and setting it to play in Mandarin, if Siri is set to Cantonese on iOS 18, it will be played in Cantonese. There is no such issue on iOS 17 and 16. 1.let utterance = AVSpeechUtterance(string: textView.text) let voice = AVSpeechSynthesisVoice(language: "zh-CN") utterance.voice = voice 2.In the phone settings, Siri is set to Cantonese

Thank you.
