Hi everyone, I’m unable to enable Xcode Cloud for any app on my account. At the final step of the Xcode workflow setup (“Confirm App on App Store Connect”), pressing Complete always returns: “ could not be added to Xcode Cloud. Authentication credentials are invalid.” This affects both existing apps and completely new test apps with fresh bundle IDs. What I’ve verified • I am Account Holder and Admin. • All agreements are accepted. • App creation, bundle ID registration, and certificate management work normally. • I’ve removed/re-added my Apple ID in Xcode and cleared all Xcode-* tokens from Keychain. • Test apps in clean Git repos reproduce the same error. Support I have already opened Case ID 102769512657 with Apple Developer Support, but I’m posting here in case others have seen this issue or know of additional steps to confirm the provisioning state.

Tab Bar Transparency Problem on iOS 26
i have programmed a website and struggle to get it to work on safari ios26. 100vh fixed positioned images do not fill the screen anymore. i could live with that, having two background coloured spaces at the top and at the bottom. but elements that scroll out of this new viewport are fully visible, as you can see on the enclosed screenshots. i have no idea how i could fix this and dont find any answer anywhere on the net?

NSButtons disappear on macOS 26
I have attached 2 images of our Mac Apps user interface. The app is built for macOS 15.6 or newer. On macOS 15 and earlier everything looks fine. But the same App running on macOS 26 the controls disappear. We were able to temporarily resolve the problem by adding UIDesignRequiresCompatibility to the info.plist. This type of nonsense happens all over the app without the compatibility switch. Shouldn't all these legacy controls be backward compatible on Glass? This part of the app where the controls are disappearing is built in Swift (not swift ui) and uses standard programatic layout and visual constraints. On macOS 26, there are no Xcode warnings or layout errors on the console relative to the layout so we are confused as to how we would resolve this without the use of UIDesignRequiresCompatibility. Is this some kind of bug in NSControl glass compatibility? We are not likely to move the entire app into SwiftUI anytime soon. How would we resolve this?

Network access has changed
I had, a long time ago (over 10 years) developed an application that is connected to my UPS (for solar panels). Until yet it worked very well, and I didnot have to compute more than making updates of XCode. That was all. But yet I have swiched to the latest value of switch, and it continue to compile, but it does'not work. I am asking to yo in order keeping my app working as previously. As it does not work, which library is replacing Cloudkit.framework ? and which library is replacing InsPersistantContainer.framework ? Have a good day Guy Desbief

ASC rejects ReplayKit Broadcast Upload appex: RPBroadcastProcessMode “not specified” (key present in IPA & swinfo)
Summary App Store Connect validation (Transporter) is rejecting a build that includes a ReplayKit Broadcast Upload extension. The validator reports that RPBroadcastProcessMode is “not specified”, but the shipped IPA’s Upload appex Info.plist has the key at the documented nested path, and Apple’s own analyser (swinfo) shows the same key/value. Error (Transporter 409) “Invalid Info.plist value. The value for the key 'RPBroadcastProcessMode' in bundle BeamRoomHost.app/PlugIns/BeamRoomUpload2.appex is invalid. Apple Wallet Pass setting foregroundColor to white automatically when background image is present
I'm creating an event ticket Apple Wallet Pass and setting a light-coloured background image. When I do this, it automatically sets the foregroundColor to white, even when I explicitly set it to black. What's strange is that on my Mac, the foregroundColor appears as intended, and I can set it to any color I want, but when I AirDrop the pass to my iPhone, it sets the color to white, regardless of what I set the foregroundColor to. This means the text becomes completely illegible for my users, with white text on a white background image. If I remove the background image, the foregroundColor works fine. Is there a way to have a light-colored background image with dark text, or am I forced to have a dark-colored background image? Here are the colors in my pass.json: backgroundColor: "rgb(255, 255, 255)" foregroundColor: "rgb(0, 0, 0)" labelColor: "rgb(0, 0, 0)" I've attached what the pass looks like on my Mac and my iPhone.

"Unknown Error" - Please try again
Hello Team I tried to enroll using the Apple Developer app on both my Mac and my iPhone and I keep getting the "Unknown error" please try again popup. I'm on the latest macOS and iOS version, have everything in line to the requirements, but nothing seems to be working. Can someone guide me if there's something I've not done right?

QuickLook Thumbnailing returns stale macOS 26 folder icon
On macOS 26, I've run into a situation when a user “customizes” a folder icon with Finder by assigning/changing an SF Symbol or an emoji, QLThumbnailGenerator keeps returning the stale initially retrieved folder icon (no matter whether it had been customized or not) until my app quits. IOHIDCheckAccess(kIOHIDRequestTypeListenEvent) does not work
I have an app that needs Input Monitoring permissions to get keyboard access in the background. I've attempted to use both IOHIDCheckAccess(kIOHIDRequestTypeListenEvent) and IOHIDRequestAccess(kIOHIDRequestTypeListenEvent), but they always return denied, even though I have given the permission for Input Monitoring to the app in Settings. Is there something I need to put in my Info.plist to enable this permission to work?

Testing TelephonyMessagingKit Outside of The EU
Is it possible to develop for TelephonyMessagingKit on iOS 26 outside of the EU? If so, how is this accomplished? I have added the 'Default Carrier Messaging App' entitlement to my project, but I do not see an option to set my app as a default option in settings on my device. I am not located inside of the EU, but would like to test this functionality.

Can't download files from file provider's folder if they are read-only
I face this issue only on macOS 26 and only on the Intel architecture. I'm unable to download files from a file provider's folder when I make them read-only. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Download the sample from https://developer.apple.com/documentation/fileprovider/synchronizing-files-using-file-provider-extensions?language=objc Follow the steps on the page to configure the project. Build the project. Run it. Add a domain. Open the domain's folder in the Finder. Move a file to the domain's folder. Right-click on the file in the domain's folder and select "Remove Download". Close the Finder's window with the domain's folder and kill all the "Provider" processes to get rid of running instances of the extension. Change Item's capabilities in Item.swift to make the items read-only: var result: NSFileProviderItemCapabilities = [ .allowsContentEnumerating, .allowsReading ] Rebuild the project and run it. Open the domain's folder and try to drag and drop the file from the extension's folder to, let's say, the Desktop folder. EXPECTED RESULT The file is copied ACTUAL RESULT A dialog pops up with text "The file “filename” cannot be downloaded. Do you want to skip it?" Stop/Skip

Provisioning Profile Creation Error
Hi, I am trying to update my apps and i couldn't do it, can anyone please help? this is what happened to me. Once my membership renewed, i couldn't compile my apps due to signing error. here is the error message: Xcode archive done. 31.7s Failed to build iOS app Error (Xcode): Communication with Apple failed: Your team has no devices from which to generate a provisioning profile. Connect a device to use or manually add device IDs in Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. https://developer.apple.com/account/ /Users/tony/vn246/ios/Runner.xcodeproj when I go to the portal developer.apple.com/account to create the Provisioning Profile manually then it said there is no device, and when i go into the Devices section then the machine uuid is added and it's there and registered, i had always been compiling with it before the old membership was expired. I tried to remove those and re-added and the error still persisted. P.S.: I renewed all my certificates (removed old and recreated new) thank you

Attributes inspector in Xcode 26
It has been two years since I wrote my a SwiftUI app, and I wanted to start again in Xcode 26. I can no longer see the attributes inspector when I select an element in the canvas. This was an Xcode feature that was very helpful as I am still a novice. Has this feature been deprecated in Xcode 26? And if not, please help explain how I can find and use it.

iOS 26.1 | WebKit renders an emoji for the list disclosure-closed icon
As of iOS 26.1, Safari and WebKit views have an issue when rendering the <details> html tag. The disclosure-closed icon / character appears as an emoji arrow ▶️ instead of the unicode character ▸ (U+25B8 - Black Right-Pointing Small Triangle) For example: <details> <summary>Summary</summary> <p>Additional details....</p> </details> This wasn't the case in iOS 26.0 / iOS 18. From what I can observe it seems ▶ (U+25B6 - Black Right-Pointing Triangle) may be used in iOS 26.1 which renders as the emoji ▶️ on iOS (at least as far back as iOS 18). The only workaround I found for the moment is to specify explicit CSS to revert back to using the ▸ (U+25B8 - Black Right-Pointing Small Triangle) details > summary { list-style-type: "▸ "; } details[open] > summary { list-style-type: "▾ "; } Is this expected? VisionOS 2 - Passthrough in screen capture
I'm trying to develop an app that broadcasts what the user sees (priorly we were using main camera access) but now we'd like to investigate and try with this option. I have set up the BroadcastExtension, I've added the picker, I click on my button, I can see my broadcast extension in the options list in the control center, once I click start, it stops after 1 second more or less. I'm not able to get anything in the console from my Sample Handler (prints or logs or anything). I can see however in the console.app some misleading information (one after the other): [INFO] -[RPRecordingManager getSystemBroadcastExtensionInfo:]_block_invoke:1333 Extension has passthrough license [INFO] -[RPRecordingManager getSystemBroadcastExtensionInfo:]_block_invoke:1336 Extension does not have passthrough license We have the entreprise license, the capability and I did add the capability on the extension target as well.

Metal 4: When is it ok to dealloc a MTLBuffer's memory
I have something like this drawing in an MTKView (see at bottom). I am finding it difficult to figure out when can the Swift-land resources used in making the MTLBuffer(s) be released? Below, for example, is it ok if args goes out of scope (or is otherwise deallocated) at point 1, 2, or 3? Or perhaps even earlier, as soon as argsBuffer has been created? I have been reading through various articles such as Setting resource storage modes Choosing a resource storage mode for Apple GPUs Copying data to a private resource but it's a lot to absorb and I haven't been really able to find an authoritative description of the required lifetime of the resources in CPU land. I should mention that this is Metal 4 code. In previous versions of Metal, the MTLCommandBuffer had the ability to add a completion handler to be called by the GPU after it has finished running the commands in the buffer but in Metal 4 there is no such thing (it it were even needed for the purpose I am interested in).
