iOS 26 Regression: Screen Time Permission Lost, had to be re-authenticated
Hello, my app is frequently loosing / forgetting the Screen Time Permission that had been granted previously on iOS 26. I have experienced it myself, sysdiagnose is in this radar: FB18997699 But also also my App Store users who have updated to iOS 26 already have reported this bug. It would be great if Apple could ensure that this bug is addressed before iOS 26 is released to the public.

SpeechTranscriber/SpeechAnalyzer being relatively slow compared to FoundationModel and TTS
So, I've been wondering how fast a an offline STT -> ML Prompt -> TTS roundtrip would be. Interestingly, for many tests, the SpeechTranscriber (STT) takes the bulk of the time, compared to generating a FoundationModel response and creating the Audio using TTS. E.g. InteractionStatistics: - listeningStarted: 21:24:23 4480 2423 - timeTillFirstAboveNoiseFloor: 01.794 - timeTillLastNoiseAboveFloor: 02.383 - timeTillFirstSpeechDetected: 02.399 - timeTillTranscriptFinalized: 04.510 - timeTillFirstMLModelResponse: 04.938 - timeTillMLModelResponse: 05.379 - timeTillTTSStarted: 04.962 - timeTillTTSFinished: 11.016 - speechLength: 06.054 - timeToResponse: 02.578 - transcript: This is a test. - mlModelResponse: Sure! I'm ready to help with your test. What do you need help with? Here, between my audio input ending and the Text-2-Speech starting top play (using AVSpeechUtterance) the total response time was 2.5s. Of that time, it took the SpeechAnalyzer 2.1s to get the transcript finalized, FoundationModel only took 0.4s to respond (and TTS started playing nearly instantly). I'm already using reportingOptions: [.volatileResults, .fastResults] so it's probably as fast as possible right now? I'm just surprised the STT takes so much longer compared to the other parts (all being CoreML based, aren't they?)

swift package with arm64e
I use spm manage swift package, now i want my macos app support arm64e,so i add arm64e in Build Srtting -> Architectures. but i got error Could not find module 'SwiftyJSON' for target 'arm64e-apple-macos'; found: arm64-apple-macos, x86_64-apple-macos Apparently, if no limit in Package.swift, SPM will only compile versions for x86 and ARM64 architectures by default. now, how should I configure SPM to compile the arm64e version? thanks

CGSetDisplayTransferByTable no longer working on macOS Tahoe
For an app of mine I use CGSetDisplayTransferByTable to adjust the gamma table of the device. Since macOS Tahoe, these modifications are silently ignored. The display's actual gamma curve remains unchanged despite the API reporting successful completion. I've filed a FB for it a few weeks ago, and would love to figure out what could be causing this. [Xcode 26 beta 4] Cannot receive device token from APNS using iOS 26 simulator
Since upgrading to Xcode 26 beta 4 and using the iOS 26 simulator for testing our app, we've stopped being able to receive device tokens for the simulator from the development APNS environment. The APNS environment is able to return meta device information (e.g. model, type, manufacturer) but there are no device tokens present. When running the same app using the iOS 18.5 simulator, we are able to register the device with the same APNS environment and receive a valid device token.

White border appears during app transition despite full-opacity 1024x1024 icon (SVG and PNG tested)
Hi everyone 👋 I’m a new iOS developer working on my first app and I’ve run into a frustrating visual bug involving my app icon during the launch/close transition. Issue: When I use Icon Composer (the new tool introduced for iOS 26) to generate my app icon, I consistently see a thin white border or “fringe” around the icon only during the transition animation (when the app opens or closes). It disappears once the animation ends. What I tested and confirmed: • I exported the exact same design directly from Adobe Illustrator as a 1024×1024 PNG, fully opaque, RGB color mode, background color filling the entire canvas (no transparency, no borders, no rounded corners). • When I place that exported PNG directly into the AppIcon asset catalog in Xcode, the icon renders perfectly — no white fringe appears, just a slightly darker shade of blue during transitions (expected and acceptable). • But when I generate the icon using Icon Composer, the white edge always appears, even if I disable effects, use full coverage layers, or only keep a flat color layer. Notes: • Tested on iOS 26 (latest beta) using Xcode 16. • The issue seems specific to Icon Composer’s export format or metadata — maybe it’s not stripping alpha correctly or something related to the squircle mask? • I followed all recommended specs: 1024×1024 px, PNG, sRGB, no transparency, exported from Illustrator at 72ppi with solid background. Even tested without the logo, just the icon made with icon composer Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Icon Composer exports? Is there an official recommendation to avoid this during transitions or should I simply avoid Icon Composer for production icons for now and stick with Illustrator / Figma exports? Thanks so much Here’s a visual example:

Unable to Remove “Sign in with Apple” of my app
Hello, I’m trying to remove the “Sign in with Apple” for my app via the iOS settings (also tried on a Mac, and on the web via account.apple.com). When I tap “Stop Using”, nothing happens, the dialog disappear but the app remains listed. Someone said on a forum that the issue is linked with the ServiceId that doesn't exist anymore. But how to recover it ? And anyway this behavior is unintended and creates a gap in the process. Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a known fix, or should I contact Apple Support directly for server-side revocation? Thank you!

Source view disappearing when interrupting a zoom navigation transition
When I use the .zoom transition in a navigation stack, I get a glitch when interrupting the animation by swiping back before it completes. When doing this, the source view disappears. I can still tap it to trigger the navigation again, but its not visible on screen. This seems to be a regression in iOS 26, as it works as expected when testing on iOS 18. Has someone else seen this issue and found a workaround? Is it possible to disable interrupting the transition? Filed a feedback on the issue FB19601591 Screen recording: https://share.icloud.com/photos/04cio3fEcbR6u64PAgxuS2CLQ Example code @State var showDetail = false @Namespace var namespace var body: some View { NavigationStack { ScrollView { showDetailButton } .navigationTitle("Title") .navigationBarTitleDisplayMode(.inline) .navigationDestination(isPresented: $showDetail) { Text("Detail") .navigationTransition(.zoom(sourceID: "zoom", in: namespace)) } } } var showDetailButton: some View { Button { showDetail = true } label: { Text("Show detail") .padding() .background(.green) .matchedTransitionSource(id: "zoom", in: namespace) } } }

macOS 26: NSTokenField crashes due to NSGenericException caused by too many Update Constraints
This example application crashes when entering any text to the token field with FAULT: NSGenericException: The window has been marked as needing another Update Constraints in Window pass, but it has already had more Update Constraints in Window passes than there are views in the window. The app uses controlTextDidChange to update a live preview where it accesses the objectValue of the token field. If one character is entered, it also looks like the NSTokenFieldDelegate methods tokenField(_:styleForRepresentedObject:) tokenField(_:editingStringForRepresentedObject:) tokenField(_:representedObjectForEditing:) are called more than 10000 times until the example app crashes on macOS Tahoe 26 beta 6. I've reported this issue with beta 1 as FB18088608, but haven't heard back so far. I have multiple occurrences of this issue in my app, which is working fine on previous versions of macOS. I haven't found a workaround yet, and I’m getting anxious of this issue persisting into the official release.

NFCPresentmentIntentAssertion validity behavior
Hello, I would like to discuss the behavior of the expiration of NFCPresentmentIntentAssertion (test in iOS 18.5). In the documentation we have : The intent assertion expires if any of the following occur: The intent assertion object deinitializes Your app goes into the background 15 seconds elapse BUT; in fact ; only the 1st rule is applied. The expiration seems to be random after the usage of CardSession and that's difficult to give to the user a good experience. Has someone faced the same kind of issue; or can give an explanation? iPadOS26 beta4 Tap Judgement
On the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation) cellular model, when you touch the screen with four fingers and then move your fingers, the touch is no longer detected. The same operation with one to three fingers works normally. This phenomenon does not occur when accessibility is turned on. Is this a beta-specific issue that will be fixed in the official release?

What are some effective tips for boosting app installs and improving App Store ranking?
Should you rely only on organic installs, or would a mix of strategies work better? Isn’t optimizing keywords and refining creatives essential for higher visibility? Would running Apple Search Ads not further amplify reach? And doesn’t encouraging strong reviews ultimately help in improving both ranking and credibility?

Bug or Feature: Changes to Window Reopen Behavior in macOS 26
Since macOS 26 Beta 1, I notice that the window reopening behavior had changed. Say there are two desktops (spaces), one might: open an app window in desktop 1 close that window switch to desktop 2 reopen the app window (by click on dock tile, spotlight search...) Prior to macOS 26, that window will always reopen in current desktop. This is IMO the right behavior because these windows are most likely transient (message app, chat app, utilities app or note app). In macOS 26, however, will switch to desktop 1 (where the window is closed) and reopen the window in desktop 1. This is weird to me because: Window is "closed", hence it should not be attached to desktop 1 anymore, unlike minimize. Switching desktop interrupts user's current workflow. It's annoying to switch back specially when there're many desktops. This behavior is inconsistent. Some reopen in current desktop, some reopen in previous desktop. Apps like Music, Notes and Calendar reopened in previous desktop, while Mail, Messages, and Freeform reopened in current desktop. I did a little bit of experiment, and find out that apps that reopened in current desktop are most likely because they take an extra step to release the window when it's closed. I believe this is a bug, so I fire a feedback (FB18016497) back in beta 1. But I did not get any response or similar report from others, to a point that I kinda wonder if this is intended. I can easily force my app to reopen in current desktop by nullifying my window controller in windowWillClose, but this behavior essentially change how one can use the Spaces feature that I think I should bring this up to the community and see what other developers or engineers thinks about it.

But my Product Page Optimization with only screenshots has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for four days. Do these get reviewed only with new versions, or should I just wait it out?
