I have an idea for an app for awhile (5+ years) and it took awhile (a year or more to figure out how to develop on - I know C/C++/FORTRAN, started in the punch card era). I ended up using the MacBook I had, some books and chatGPT and plunged into development. BTW this was all happening while I'm retired, included moving to FL from MD. There are times where development stops for months at a time, I've started and stopped at least four or five times on different portions of the project. I've realized that I can actually skip the user interface until the end if ever. At the beginning of code development, I did little more that "Hello world" programs to get my feet wet. Golf, pickleball, doctor appointments, etc. interrupts development. When I get back to it, my code has "disappeared", I open Xcode, open the project and I don't see any of my code - where did it go? I did find the code using the Finder in Directory/projname/projname/ContentView.swift (I'm not sure why projname is duplicated, no doubt my ignorance!) - so the code is still present, somewhere!

Hello all, We are in the process of deploying EAP-TLS Wi-Fi authentication across our corporate environment for both Windows and macOS devices. All endpoints are managed via Workspace ONE. As part of our macOS configuration, we are pushing device certificates to the login keychain of managed MacBooks. For testing purposes, we have explicitly set the Access Control List (ACL) of the associated private key to allow all applications access. This includes: eapolclient, which handles the EAP-TLS handshake for Wi-Fi panGPS, which is responsible for establishing the GlobalProtect VPN connection (we are using certificate-based authentication with pre-logon enabled) Additionally, we have configured and deployed a Wi-Fi profile via Workspace ONE to prevent users from having to manually select their device certificate - basically the identity preference card in Keychain Access. Despite these settings, we are still encountering Keychain Access prompts when eapolclient attempts to access the private key. This happens even though the key is configured to allow all applications access. This behavior is unexpected, and we’re trying to understand why these prompts persist. Has anyone encountered similar behavior on macOS, or is there something we're missing in terms of permissions or keychain configuration that could be causing this? I just upgraded to iOS 26.0 Now when I use car play, the text messages do not show up, only the notification tone on my phone alarms. So now when I get texts while driving, I need to read my phone to read the text. I tried all the solutions within settings but this is a BIG DRAWBACK compared to the old iOS.

Hello, I created a particular ray tracing based photo/video capture app for iPhone (which causes me several headaches in finding the optimal configuration) that which often offers very soft and visually beautiful shots but is trapped in the usual oblivion of apps from unknown developers. While it is true that on the one hand the fact that almost no one downloads your app even if it is free can save you from several gaffes in the early days, in the long run it becomes depressing. So I thought of creating something that could be an incentive to try the app. Not having money to invest in prizes for contests or much more pragmatically in advertising, I thought of adding a function where you can see the best photos taken in your area and vote for them and, if you want, add a photo taken in the competition. Do you think it could be a nice idea? It's true that the problem itself is to overcome the wall of 0 downloads, where your app is neither successful nor unsuccessful because in fact nobody tries it, but without money for advertising I don't have many other ideas... As the title states, and it’s extremely frustrating. The floating bar that now appears above the keyboard is cool compared to the built in bar, though it seems to only work when it feels like it. Also the screen seems to have a haze around it, sometimes I cannot read whats needed because of it being blurred and it won’t allow me to navigate to certain things due to the haze being there too. Any way of rolling back my update and going back to my previous iOS?

Please make sure this feature gets placed back. Parents need a way to provide the ability for kids to watch and not watch at their discretion. The new system doesn’t allow this to happen. Are there any workarounds?

Hello, I’m reaching out here because I have exhausted all other support channels without success. I submitted an enrollment request for the Apple Developer Program on March 3, 2025 (Enrollment ID: 3CJFXN3AA3), and it’s now been over 2.5 months with no resolution. All required documents have been submitted, confirmed received by Apple Support, and multiple follow-ups have been made (Case #102541675488). Each time, I’m told that the case is still under review, but I haven’t received any clear update or timeline. Is there anything else I can do to move this process forward? After too many boot loops and inability to boot up at all from system data bloating, I decided to restore the iPhone 16 Pro Max I’m beta testing on back to iOS 18.4 for a third time. Unfortunately, I found the iOS 26 beta 2 had made a iCloud backup last night, replacing my 18.4 backup. Is this something betas are supposed to do? I’ve been beta testing for around a decade now, I’ve never seen a iOS beta make an iCloud backup. Is anyone else noticing excessive system data bloating (70-100 GB or more)? Regardless, I’m in it for the long game now 😂

After doing a software update I can only view iMessages older than 12hrs (from a single contact) if the other person replies to and older message. Every time I leave the Massages app and go back in the issue occurs again.

Upgraded my M1 Mac mini from MacOS Tahoe 26 Beta to Beta 2. Prior to the update I had no problem connecting to the Max mini from my MacBook Pro M2 running Now, attempting to connect to the Mac mini from a MacBook Pro M2 running Sequoia 15.5. After the update, I can enter my password, but then I am disconnected with the error "This Mac was unable to start a High Performance connection to the Mac mini" and to "change the screen sharing type to standard and try again" Connecting via a "Standard" connection showed that the Window Server failed.
