Sudden Termination of Apple Developer Account - Seeking Community Advice
Hello, everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm facing an unfortunate issue with my Apple Developer Program membership that was suddenly terminated. I received a generic email from Apple, stating that my membership was revoked, but no specific reason was provided for this action. I appealed the decision, offering all possible explanations and commitments to adhere to guidelines, only to be met with a reply stating that the decision is "final" and no subsequent appeals will be processed. Has anyone here faced a similar situation? Are there any steps that can be taken to understand the reason for termination when Apple doesn't disclose it? Is there a way to open a dialogue with Apple, even when they've stated that their decision is final? Would publicizing this issue through social media or blogs be advisable? This is a particularly trying time for us, as we are recovering from a recent earthquake and our app is our sole source of income. Terrible treatment by Apple Dev support team
I paid for my developer account on the 13th of June 2024 (1 week ago). My ID was approved. However, I still don't have access to the account. When I go to check the status of it, it is asking me to pay again. I then tried to email the team, however only received useless, timewasting responses, such as "Please go to developer.apple.com/enroll to enroll for an apple dev account", which I already told them prompts me to pay again and verify my ID again. I then tried to call them, and they said they had to re-verify my ID and would call me back in 10 mins, but I never received a call back. I also couldn't call them again because it wouldn't let me request another call from them. I then emailed them, but still haven't received a response. The next day I tried to request another call from them, during their opening hours at Thursday 4pm AEST, (they are open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm AEST see https://developer.apple.com/support/worldwide-telephone-hours/) however it still says that "Phone support is currently unavailable". I tried to email them but now I am getting no responses at all. I tried to contact the apple support through the iMessage chat, however I was only put on call with a lady who was helpful, but couldn't even do anything as she was only generic support. She couldn't even schedule me a call or transfer me to the developer team, even though it was within their working and calling/support hours. I have tried to refund my developer account, but apparently that purchase is "illegible for a refund". This is the treatment I get from apple for paying $100 USD. An entire week of being left on blank. I don't know what to do. I paid 100 bucks for an account which I can't even use, and the support hasn't helped me for an entire week. My emails being left on blank, and I can't even call them. If anyone from apple or anyone that could help me sees this, please contact me ASAP at makrypodisc@ hotmail.com or reply to this thread. Hello everyone, on August 31st, all the apps in my personal developer account were suddenly expired and deleted, I have not received any response from Apple. My apps are in compliance with Apple's policies. I then uploaded a new version and sent it to the review team, but I received the following error "There was an error processing your request. Please try again later." I have contacted Apple via Email and Phone but no one cares about my problem. Has anyone had the same situation as me, I am really worried.

Displaying limited contacts list in UIKit
I have an app that was written in UIKit. It's too large, and it would be much too time consuming at this point to convert it to SwiftUI. I want to incorporate the new limited contacts into this app. The way it's currently written everything works fine except for showing the limited contacts in the contact picker. I have downloaded and gone though the Apple tutorial app but I'm having trouble thinking it through into UIKit. After a couple of hours I decided I need help. I understand I need to pull the contact IDs of the contacts that are in the limited contacts list. Not sure how to do that or how to get it to display in the picker. tvOS 18.3 Beta Bug
Hello :-) I‘m not entirely sure, if I‘m on the correct Place here. But I would like to report a Bug with tvOS 18.3 (latest beta) to the Apple Engineers! When maximizing an app, a clear color jump occurs. The home screen is more colorful than the open app! You can easily force this: open an app, e.g. the App Store back to the home screen open the app again now you can see a color jump of the GUI!!! The color becomes paler when the app is open. On the home screen it is more colorful again! The problem occurs with every app! So it is a global tvOS Bug! I can also send an example video if that's helpful! Best regards, Christian :-)

Can I Use Xcode and iPadOS 18? (and RealityView)
I'm preparing my submission for the Swift Student Challenge, and I have a couple of questions regarding the development environment. Is it allowed to use Xcode to program my scene, or do I have to use Swift Playgrounds? Can I use iPadOS 18 for development? I noticed that Swift Playgrounds currently only supports up to iPadOS 17.5, but I would like to use RealityView, which is only available starting from iPadOS 18. I appreciate any clarification on this. Thanks in advance!

When will ONE_TIME_CHARGE notify type be available in a production environment?
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreservernotifications/app-store-server-notifications-changelog#June-10-2024 ONE_TIME_CHARGE notify type running in a sandbox environment for almost a year, the feature is not yet available for production environment. The notification is already available in Google subscriptions. Our services often miss orders because of the absence of this notification. Can you give us an approximate time range?

Metal not working in Swift Playgrounds (SSC Scene)
Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a Swift Playgrounds project where I need to incorporate a Metal shader file. However, when I tried to include my shader file (PincushionShader.metal), I encountered the following error: Is it possible to use Metal shader files within Swift Playgrounds, it is really important for my swift student challenge scene? The push notification icon is still displaying the old version
Hello guys, We have updated our app icon, and it is correctly reflected in our app build and assets. However, the push notification icon is still displaying the old version for some users. ✅ We have verified that: All icon assets in Assets.xcassets match the new icon. The app icon has been updated in Info.plist. The app has been resubmitted and approved on the App Store. ❌ However, some users still see the old notification icon, even after reinstalling the app. Restarting the device does not always resolve the issue. Could you provide insights into how iOS caches notification icons and how we can force a refresh for all users?

Swift Student Challenge 2025 results not out yet
It's Thursday, March 27th 2025 and I'm living in the UK, I have completed my project and submitted it before February 23rd and got the confirmation email and on March 27th, it says results are out but even after I wait for a long time, I still get the same message: We’ve received your submission. We'll send you an email when results are posted. Even after I come back 16 hours into the day which is 4PM GMT, so I want to know where to see the results anywhere else or if it's just a delay.

I would like to inquire about an error that has started occurring while debugging AppStore billing. (In sandbox environment) This error occurs after entering a password and completing the purchase process, and in this case, no completion alert appears. The error doesn't seem to depend on the purchase item, sandbox account, or device, and shows unstable behavior - sometimes succeeding and sometimes failing. Additionally, this error started occurring after special debugging where the network was disconnected during the purchase process. Moreover, the same error occurs in the TestFlight version of our already released normal (supposedly) version. I think this might be a sandbox-specific error where the system has temporarily become unstable, but what do you think? If so, how can I resolve this issue? iOS 18.4 Upgrade Causes Installed Apps to Revert to Older Versions
We have observed an issue where upgrading an iPhone to iOS 18.4 causes installed apps to revert to significantly older versions. For example, if the App Store version is 1.0.284 and the user had 1.0.283 installed before the upgrade, after updating to iOS 18.4, the app version reverts to 1.0.208—which is nearly a year old. We suspect this may be related to iCloud backup restoration. Has Apple encountered similar cases, and is there a known resolution for this issue?

Download and Store Custom Notification Sound for Playback in All App States (Foreground, Background, and Terminated)
I want to implement a feature where a custom notification sound file is downloaded from the server when the app is first launched and stored locally on the device. When a push notification arrives, the stored sound should be played in all app states, including foreground, background, and terminated (killed) state. Missing App Crash Data in Analytics Report Downloads via API
I'm encountering an issue with the App Store Connect Analytics API. to download analytics reports, the app crash data is missing for both ONGOING and ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT reports. The crash data does appear in the Dashboard, with the numbers greater than 5, so this doesn’t seem to be related to privacy restrictions. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Read-only file system (Mac OS Extended)
After updating to another beta of High Sierra, my internal hard drive became read-only somehow. I have a user home directory on that and many things have stopped working. I tried re-installing the OS, but it didn't help. I'm out of options by now. Anyone has ideas how can I fix that?

Hello :-) I‘m not entirely sure, if I‘m on the correct Place here. But I would like to report a Bug with tvOS 18.3 (latest beta) to the Apple Engineers! When maximizing an app, a clear color jump occurs. The home screen is more colorful than the open app! You can easily force this: open an app, e.g. the App Store back to the home screen open the app again now you can see a color jump of the GUI!!! The color becomes paler when the app is open. On the home screen it is more colorful again! The problem occurs with every app! So it is a global tvOS Bug! I can also send an example video if that's helpful! Best regards, Christian :-)

Can I Use Xcode and iPadOS 18? (and RealityView)
I'm preparing my submission for the Swift Student Challenge, and I have a couple of questions regarding the development environment. Is it allowed to use Xcode to program my scene, or do I have to use Swift Playgrounds? Can I use iPadOS 18 for development? I noticed that Swift Playgrounds currently only supports up to iPadOS 17.5, but I would like to use RealityView, which is only available starting from iPadOS 18. I appreciate any clarification on this. Thanks in advance!

When will ONE_TIME_CHARGE notify type be available in a production environment?
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreservernotifications/app-store-server-notifications-changelog#June-10-2024 ONE_TIME_CHARGE notify type running in a sandbox environment for almost a year, the feature is not yet available for production environment. The notification is already available in Google subscriptions. Our services often miss orders because of the absence of this notification. Can you give us an approximate time range?

Metal not working in Swift Playgrounds (SSC Scene)
Hi everyone, I'm currently working on a Swift Playgrounds project where I need to incorporate a Metal shader file. However, when I tried to include my shader file (PincushionShader.metal), I encountered the following error: Is it possible to use Metal shader files within Swift Playgrounds, it is really important for my swift student challenge scene? The push notification icon is still displaying the old version
Hello guys, We have updated our app icon, and it is correctly reflected in our app build and assets. However, the push notification icon is still displaying the old version for some users. ✅ We have verified that: All icon assets in Assets.xcassets match the new icon. The app icon has been updated in Info.plist. The app has been resubmitted and approved on the App Store. ❌ However, some users still see the old notification icon, even after reinstalling the app. Restarting the device does not always resolve the issue. Could you provide insights into how iOS caches notification icons and how we can force a refresh for all users?

Swift Student Challenge 2025 results not out yet
It's Thursday, March 27th 2025 and I'm living in the UK, I have completed my project and submitted it before February 23rd and got the confirmation email and on March 27th, it says results are out but even after I wait for a long time, I still get the same message: We’ve received your submission. We'll send you an email when results are posted. Even after I come back 16 hours into the day which is 4PM GMT, so I want to know where to see the results anywhere else or if it's just a delay.

Payment completed with error: Error Domain=ASDErrorDomain Code=500
I would like to inquire about an error that has started occurring while debugging AppStore billing. (In sandbox environment) This error occurs after entering a password and completing the purchase process, and in this case, no completion alert appears. The error doesn't seem to depend on the purchase item, sandbox account, or device, and shows unstable behavior - sometimes succeeding and sometimes failing. Additionally, this error started occurring after special debugging where the network was disconnected during the purchase process. Moreover, the same error occurs in the TestFlight version of our already released normal (supposedly) version. I think this might be a sandbox-specific error where the system has temporarily become unstable, but what do you think? If so, how can I resolve this issue? I would appreciate your insights on the cause and appropriate response. iOS 18.4 Upgrade Causes Installed Apps to Revert to Older Versions
We have observed an issue where upgrading an iPhone to iOS 18.4 causes installed apps to revert to significantly older versions. For example, if the App Store version is 1.0.284 and the user had 1.0.283 installed before the upgrade, after updating to iOS 18.4, the app version reverts to 1.0.208—which is nearly a year old. We suspect this may be related to iCloud backup restoration. Has Apple encountered similar cases, and is there a known resolution for this issue?

Download and Store Custom Notification Sound for Playback in All App States (Foreground, Background, and Terminated)
I want to implement a feature where a custom notification sound file is downloaded from the server when the app is first launched and stored locally on the device. When a push notification arrives, the stored sound should be played in all app states, including foreground, background, and terminated (killed) state. Missing App Crash Data in Analytics Report Downloads via API
I'm encountering an issue with the App Store Connect Analytics API. to download analytics reports, the app crash data is missing for both ONGOING and ONE_TIME_SNAPSHOT reports. The crash data does appear in the Dashboard, with the numbers greater than 5, so this doesn’t seem to be related to privacy restrictions. Has anyone else experienced this issue? How to request several models simultaneously
I am using HelloPhotogrammetry in Xcode I can make one model with something like HelloPhotogrammetry.main([path_to_folder_of images, path_to_output/model.usdz, "-d", "medium", "-o", "unordered", "-f", "high" ]) But how would I request several models simultaneously? I only want to vary the detail.
