i0S26 issue with CarPlay
I just upgraded to iOS 26.0 Now when I use car play, the text messages do not show up, only the notification tone on my phone alarms. So now when I get texts while driving, I need to read my phone to read the text. I tried all the solutions within settings but this is a BIG DRAWBACK compared to the old iOS.

Enrollment Delay – Waiting 2.5 Months with No Update
Hello, I’m reaching out here because I have exhausted all other support channels without success. I submitted an enrollment request for the Apple Developer Program on March 3, 2025 (Enrollment ID: 3CJFXN3AA3), and it’s now been over 2.5 months with no resolution. All required documents have been submitted, confirmed received by Apple Support, and multiple follow-ups have been made (Case #102541675488). Each time, I’m told that the case is still under review, but I haven’t received any clear update or timeline. Is there anything else I can do to move this process forward? Is there a better way to escalate or contact someone who can help finalize the review? Any advice or help from the community or Apple team would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Daniyar

Unknown unauthorized mdm
m personal iPhone is managed by an Unauthorized and Unknown mdm management team, The profile isn’t showing up in VPN Settings and I can’t remove them from having Remote access and control over my Personal Device! I’ve SPENT MANY MONTHS TRYING TO GET SUPPORT VIA EMAILING APPLE DEVELOPER AND SPEAKING TO APPLE SUPPORT WHICH HAS BEEN EXTREMELY EXHAUSTING AND HUMILIATIN! I’ve resorted to contacting Internet crime websit, the federal trade commissio, Better business bureau and Consumer Affairs to file an online complaint against Apple for not complying with their Security and Privacy policy for consumers accounts! Because of this unauthorized and unknown mdm devi management profile I don’t have COMPLETE CONTROL OVER MY OWN IPHONE! !

No such module 'UnityFramework' ,Getting this message updating Xcode to latest version
After the update of the Xcode to latest version, I’m getting “No Such Module Unity Framework” as error. the complete information is below. I had to update the Xcode and the O.S as per the Apple Requirement from my older version of 14.x to latest 16.3. I had no issued running the Unity within my iOS App till the recent update. Previous Setup: Unity was successfully integrated into this iOS app and running fine before the update. As it was working till the Xcode version 14.3, i have not changed any code relevant to Unity. What I’ve Tried: a. Added UnityFramework.framework to “Link Binary with Libraries” and marked it as “Embed & Sign”. b. Verified Framework Search Paths include $(PROJECT_DIR)/UnityProject/build/Debug-iphoneos c. Cleaned build folder, deleted Derived Data d. Checked [CP] Embed Pods Frameworks step in Build Phases Stuck On: Xcode still throws "No such module 'UnityFramework'" — it’s as if the framework isn’t being built or seen from my main project. Request for Help: Has anyone encountered this issue post-Xcode 16.3 update from 14.x. I’d really appreciate any guidance, updated workflows, or even a checklist of steps for properly integrating Unity into an existing iOS app with the new Xcode build system.

CoreData error: SQLCore dispatchRequest: no such table: ZAPPSETTINGS. I/O error opening
Issue with SwiftData: “no such table: ZAPPSETTINGS” and SQLite I/O error on app launch Hello, I’m encountering persistent errors with SwiftData in my SwiftUI app related to Core Data’s underlying SQLite database. Despite defining my models correctly, the app fails to initialize the persistent store, throwing the following error on startup: CoreData error: SQLCore dispatchRequest: no such table: ZAPPSETTINGS. I/O error opening database at /.../default.store. SQLite error code:1, NSSQLiteErrorDomain=1. File “default.store” couldn’t be opened. Context The error only appears concerning my AppSettings model. I have another model, LocationPoint, which appears correctly defined and used. I have tried deleting the app, resetting the device, and cleaning builds but the error persists. The error message suggests the database file is present but the table for ZAPPSETTINGS (the Core Data table for AppSettings) does not exist. Alternate App Icon Change Does Not Reflect in Notification Center on iOS 18.1+
When changing the app's alternate icon using UIApplication.setAlternateIconName(_:completionHandler:), the icon is updated correctly on the Home Screen and App Switcher. However, in Notification Center, the old app icon is still shown for notifications, even after the change has completed. Rebooting or change the device's language causes the correct icon to appear. This issue only occurs on iOS 18.1 and later. In iOS 18.0 and earlier, Notification Center correctly reflects the updated icon. Could you provide insights into how iOS caches notification icons and how we can force a refresh for all users?

Cannot update HomeBrew, due to SHA256 mismatch on --jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz download
I want to install tesseract in order to get OCR feature in ChatGPT. Tesseract install requires the use of HomeBrew on macOS But I am using macOS 15.5 and the version of HomeBrew is not compatible. When tying to install Tasseract, old version of HomeBrew is detected and HomeBrew starts updating automatically. The process goes fine until the download of the jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz component. SHA256 mismatch is detected and the update process stops. But the downloaded jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz doesn't seem to be corrupted. Maybe an error of the expected SHA256? Any help is welcome that would enable me to complete the HomeBrew update process. How can I create a shortcut to toggle macro control in iPhone settings?
I’d like to create a button on my iPhone Home Screen that changes settings if I am using an external lens mounted to my phone. This is what I have along with notes on what I hope to do. But it does not work. I am only able to open either the camera settings or the camera preserve settings but nothing will toggle macro controls. There is an additional step within the camera app as well but it can be skipped for brevity. Name: Telephoto and macro lenses Check if macro settings are already enabled or not. (Settings > Camera > Macro Control toggle) as well as (Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings > Macro Control toggle) Non-working shortcut code: Verification question: "Are you using an external lens?" If yes, Notification: "Turning on Macro Control and preserve settings for macro control." Question About CarPlay Certification When Using Custom Wiring Harness
Hello developers, My question isn't directly related to app or software development, but this seems to be the most appropriate channel to possibly find the information I need. Context I work for an automotive company and I'm currently looking for Apple CarPlay certification guidelines. We're in the process of installing a multimedia system in a vehicle. The most viable solution would be to use the multimedia unit and microphone provided by our supplier, but with a custom wiring harness developed by our company to simplify the installation process. The multimedia unit, microphone, and the supplier’s harness are already certified for CarPlay. Question Would using our company’s custom wiring harness affect the existing CarPlay certification of the supplier’s product? Any information, contact, or suggestion on where I could find official guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

How can I create a shortcut to toggle macro control in iPhone settings?
I’d like to create a button on my iPhone Home Screen that changes settings if I am using an external lens mounted to my phone. This is what I have along with notes on what I hope to do. But it does not work. I am only able to open either the camera settings or the camera preserve settings but nothing will toggle macro controls. There is an additional step within the camera app as well but it can be skipped for brevity. Name: Telephoto and macro lenses Check if macro settings are already enabled or not. (Settings > Camera > Macro Control toggle) as well as (Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings > Macro Control toggle) Non-working shortcut code: Verification question: "Are you using an external lens?" If yes, Notification: "Turning on Macro Control and preserve settings for macro control." Question About CarPlay Certification When Using Custom Wiring Harness
Hello developers, My question isn't directly related to app or software development, but this seems to be the most appropriate channel to possibly find the information I need. Context I work for an automotive company and I'm currently looking for Apple CarPlay certification guidelines. We're in the process of installing a multimedia system in a vehicle. The most viable solution would be to use the multimedia unit and microphone provided by our supplier, but with a custom wiring harness developed by our company to simplify the installation process. The multimedia unit, microphone, and the supplier’s harness are already certified for CarPlay. Question Would using our company’s custom wiring harness affect the existing CarPlay certification of the supplier’s product? Any information, contact, or suggestion on where I could find official guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
