Facing an issue with audio playback using AVPlayerViewController in iOS application. We are using the native player to play recorded audio files.
When the AVPlayerViewController appears, the native user interface is displayed correctly, including the playback controls and the volume slider.
However, when the user interacts with the volume slider
The slider UI moves and responds to touch events.
The actual audio output volume does not change. The audio continues playing at the initial volume level regardless of the slider position.
We initialize the player and present it modally using the following code:
AVPlayerViewController *avController = [[AVPlayerViewController alloc] init];
avController.player = [AVPlayer playerWithURL:videoURL];
// Setting initial volume
avController.player.volume = 1.0f;
avController.modalPresentationStyle = UIModalPresentationOverFullScreen;
avController.allowsPictureInPicturePlayback = NO;
// Present the controller
[self presentViewController:avController animated:YES completion:nil];

Hi,
You're here because you've had issues with your implementation of Wallet Extensions for Apple Pay In-App Provisioning or In-App Verification. To prevent sending sensitive credentials in plain text, create a new report in Feedback Assistant to share the details requested below with the appropriate log profiles installed.
Gathering Required Information for Troubleshooting Apple Pay In-App Provisioning or In-App Verification Issues
While troubleshooting Apple Pay In-App Provisioning or In-App Verification, it is essential that the issuer is able to collect logs on their device and check those logs for error message. This is also essential when reporting issues to Apple. To gather the required data for your own debugging as well as reporting issues, please perform the following steps on the test device:
Install the Apple Pay and Wallet profiles on your iOS or watchOS device. If the issue occurs on Mac, continue to Step 2.
Reproduce the issue and make a note of the timestamp when the issue occurred, while optionally capturing screenshots or video.
Gather a sysdiagnose on the same iOS or watchOS device, or on macOS.
Create a Feedback Assistant report with the following information:
The bundle IDs
App bundle ID
Non-UI app extension bundle ID (if applicable)
UI app extension bundle ID (if applicable)
The serial number of the device.
For iOS and watchOS: Open Settings > General > About > Serial Number (tap and hold to copy).
For macOS: Open the Apple () menu > About This Mac > Serial Number.
The SEID (Secure Element Identifier) of the device, represented as a HEX encoded string.
For iOS and watchOS: Open Settings > General > About > SEID (tap and hold to copy).
For macOS: Open the Apple () menu > About This Mac > System Report > NVMExpress > Serial Number.
The sysdiagnose gathered after reproducing the issue.
The timestamp (including timezone) of when the issue was reproduced.
The type of provisioning failure (e.g., error at Terms & Conditions, error when adding a card, etc.)
The issuer/network/country of the provisioned card (e.g., Mastercard – US)
Last 4 digits of the FPAN
Last 4 digits of the DPAN (if available)
Was this test initiated from the Issuer App? (e.g., yes or no)
The type of environment (e.g., sandbox or production)
Screenshots or videos of errors and unexpected behaviors (optional).
Important: From the logs gathered above, you should be able to determine the cause of the failure from PassbookUIService, PassKit or PassKitCore, and by filtering for your SEID or bundle ID of your app or app extensions in the Console app.
Submitting your feedback
Before you submit to Feedback Assistant, please confirm the requested information above is included in your feedback. Failure to provide the requested information will only delay my investigation into the reported issue within your Apple Pay client.
After your submission to Feedback Assistant is complete, please respond in your existing Developer Forums post with the Feedback ID. Once received, I can begin my investigation and determine if this issue is caused by an error within your client, a configuration issue within your developer account, or an underlying system bug.
Cheers,

Hi,
at first I submitted an app where you asked for a way to review everything while you mentioned a demo mode would be fine. I added a demo mode and submitted the app together with in-app purchases. Now you are asking for an actual API token for an external service which I cannot provide. I responded with the info about the demo mode. The next review was rejected because the in-app purchases are kind of lost. I cannot map them.
Next re-submit was rejected because the in-app purchases are missing.
The in-app purchases are stuck in a waiting status.
Please do whatever you need to do to either release the in-app and let me map them again or map them yourself.
Regards,
Vitali
Hi,
I am in need of your help with publishing my game.
I got the following explanation for the negative review of my app/game.
Issue Description
One or more purpose strings in the app do not sufficiently explain the use of protected resources. Purpose strings must clearly and completely describe the app's use of data and, in most cases, provide an example of how the data will be used.
Next Steps
Update the local network information purpose string to explain how the app will use the requested information and provide a specific example of how the data will be used. See the attached screenshot.
Resources
Purpose strings must clearly describe how an app uses the ability, data, or resource. The following are hypothetical examples of unclear purpose strings that would not pass review:
"App would like to access your Contacts"
"App needs microphone access"
See examples of helpful, informative purpose strings.
The problem is that they say my app asks to allow my app to find devices on local networks. And that this needs more explanation in the purpose strings.
Totally valid to ask, but the problem is my app doesn't need local access to devices, and there shouldn't be code that asks this?? FYI the game is build with Unity.
Would love some help on how to turn this off so that my app can get published.
I am developing an Augmented Reality (AR) navigation application for the iPad, utilizing the ARCL library to place Points of Interest (POIs) in the real world.
The application's behavior varies significantly based on the device's networking configuration:
Cellular Network (Expected Behavior): On an iPad with a cellular modem, when using the cellular network, all POIs are placed accurately with correct orientation.
Wi-Fi Only (Expected Behavior): On a Wi-Fi-only model (no GPS chip), POI placement is inaccurate, confirming the need for an external GPS receiver for that hardware configuration.
Cellular + Wi-Fi (Anomalous Behavior):
The iPad is a cellular model (equipped with GNSS/GPS).
The device is connected to a Wi-Fi network (enforced via an MDM profile, preventing the user from disabling Wi-Fi).
When actively connected to this specific Wi-Fi network, the AR POIs consistently display with an incorrect orientation and placement, even though the device hardware has a dedicated GPS chip. The placement error strongly suggests that the device's determined location or heading is erroneous. It appears that the active Wi-Fi connection is somehow interfering with or overriding the high-accuracy GNSS/GPS data, leading to a flawed Core Location determination that negatively impacts the ARCL world tracking and anchor placement.
Has anyone experienced a scenario where an active Wi-Fi connection on a cellular iPad model causes Core Location to prioritize less accurate location data (potentially Wi-Fi-based location services) over the device's built-in GNSS/GPS, resulting in severe orientation errors? We observed that on Apple map(native application) as well it is showing wrong location and orientation when it is connected to WiFi
Bank Accounts details are outdated and status is stack on processing with error: "Your banking updates are processing, and you should see the changes in 24 hours. You won't be able to make any additional updates until then."
This is now stack for a few years since we activated a previous Apple developer account. we must change banking details as it holds up development of an app with in-app purchases.
Finance department has been contacted and they do not answer
What shall we do? senior support staff keep referring to finance department and is not helping

I am using SwiftData with CloudKit to synchronize data across multiple devices, and I have encountered an issue: occasionally, abnormal sync behavior occurs between two devices (it does not happen 100% of the time—only some users have reported this problem). It seems as if synchronization between the two devices completely stops; no matter what operations are performed on one end, the other end shows no response.
After investigating, I suspect the issue might be caused by both devices simultaneously modifying the same field, which could lead to CloudKit's logic being unable to handle such conflicts and causing the sync to stall. Are there any methods to avoid or resolve this situation?
Of course, I’m not entirely sure if this is the root cause. Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

When calling beginCollection on HKLiveWorkoutBuilder the function never completes and gets stuck. (On the second workout session, the first session works flawlessly)
To reproduce:
Run the MirroringWorkoutsSample on WatchOS https://developer.apple.com/documentation/healthkit/building-a-multidevice-workout-app.
Start the workout and then end the workouts it should work perfectly fine the first time.
Start the workout and end again, and you should see the problem, the workout doesn’t end.
Hi there, ever since I updated to Xcode 26.1, I have been seeing Record UI Button that is showing up on the left hand side which I believe is a new feature.
Is there a way to hide this button ? I am using Vim bind with relative line numbers, and now I can't see which line number I am in when writing test cases...
Hi. I have an iOS application with multiple input fields. I have to design an experience such that whenever the user presses enter key on a textfield, it should move focus to the next input field.
Similarly, consider a stack of 3 textfields, I want to cycle the focus as and when the user presses up/down arrow keys.
Other platforms like Android, have this feature out-of-the-box. I wanted to understand if iOS also supports this kind of behavior.
I know how to manually code such UX, but just wanted to confirm whether there is some inherent feature like on android which i can leverage?
Thanks.
Hi! I created a subscription class and a button that starts the purchase flow. In the Xcode environment and Simulator everything works correctly — the purchase sheet appears and the subscription flow works as expected.
But when I test the app in TestFlight, the subscription button doesn’t appear at all. I cannot trigger a purchase, and I can’t find a clear tutorial that explains how to make subscriptions work specifically in TestFlight.
Here is what I have already done:
I created the subscription in App Store Connect
I set up a Sandbox account and logged in on the device.
StoreKit sync works and the product ID matches the one in App Store Connect.
The same code works perfectly in Xcode Debug and Simulator, but the button is missing in TestFlight.
I’m totally stuck.
Can someone explain how to correctly set up and test subscriptions in TestFlight and why the subscription button would disappear even though everything works in Xcode?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,
My app (App ID: 1616628950) is already published on the App Store, but recently we’ve been unable to install the TestFlight build for testing.
The TestFlight build shows the green “Testing” status, but whenever we try to install it, we get this message:
“Could not install / The requested application is not available or does not exist.”
The TestFlight version is the same as the one currently live on the App Store, and the App Store version installs without any issue.
I wanted to share this here in case someone from the team could check whether the TestFlight build might be stuck or misconfigured on the backend.
Thank you very much for your time and help!

I have a SwiftUI app that needs to present a fullScreenCover when the user opens a deep link.
This screen must appear above anything currently shown — even if another fullScreenCover is already being presented.
In UIKit, I can achieve this by walking the view controller hierarchy, finding the top-most view controller, and presenting the new full-screen view from there.
What is the recommended way to reproduce this behavior in SwiftUI?
How can I ensure a fullScreenCover is always shown above the current presentation layer, regardless of the app’s UI state?
