Lack of intelligence or support.
I have had apps on the App Store since 23 April 2014 - over 12 years. While Apple quite rightly trumpets their simplicity of use for their products, their operating systems and their software they have, in my experience, always been majorly deficient in the area that they now call App Store Connect. I think a very large part of the problem is that the people who use the system are afraid to bite the hand that feeds so they just put up with it. Well, it’s time to take a stand. I don’t see any point in getting in to the specifics of my issue here because the original issue is no longer the issue. The issue now is “what do Apple do about it”. I spoke to a human at Apple a couple of weeks ago and he was going to move heaven and earth to solve my issue and he was a nice guy. I got an email from him that I could reply to and he was taking ownership of my case. Then I got this; Dear Francis, Thank you for contacting Developer Support. My name is Bjoern, and I am one of the senior Advisor here in Developer Support. I have taken over your case from my colleague Sebastian as he is currently out of the office.  As I can see, you have issue with your screenshots and the solution provided by Sebastian has not fixed the issue for Australia and Singapore. I am sorry to hear the issue is still ongoing for you. It will be my pleasure to look further into it for you.  To better assist you, we need more information. Please provide the following: … So I replied;
Dear Bjoerm The issue is no longer with the screenshots. I managed to get a screenshot done by consulting Google and following the instructions of someone on a forum so as to conflict with what Apple’s documentation said. I did provide you with an update about that. The remaining issue is still that... What you have asked me to do below doesn’t seem to relate to my issues at all. It has nothing to do with Safari not working on my Mac as expected. It has nothing to do with logging in to Appstore Connect. Would you please clarify what information you want from me that relates to my issue? And he said; Thank you for your email and your information. From your text message it was not clear where the issue was located. My apologies for guessing the wrong direction.  I have reviewed your app “pdf Paginate Pro” and ... More info can be found in our App Store Connect Help Guide... I hope that the provided information has helped you further.  My ‘text message’ was an email. I up loaded both of his emails to a bot and the bot said, “That came from a BOT”. - Apple Intelligence? So I submitted again and included this under Review Information “I am repeatedly submitting my app binary and IAP together but Apple keeps returning the IAP saying the binary was not submitted. Please advise exactly what steps I need to take in the current App Store Connect to correctly link them.” - All I wanted was for them to tell me what they wanted me to do and I would do it. - Then it got rejected again with no detail as to why or how to solve it. I replied to By now I have customers all over the world complaining to me that they can’t restore their Previous Purchase. I keep telling them that it should only take a couple of days for approval. I have been telling them that for a month now while not selling one app. What I should do is direct them to Apple to make their complaints and maybe then someone would start to take it seriously. They are my customers but they are Apple’s customers as well.
So, today I got rejected again and managed to get another human callback. A very nice lady who wanted to help so I started to explain the problem but when she interrupted and said “Well, for instance, I am a human and I only have limited ability to remember so much, which is why I kind of intercepted at this point. So, I mean, not being funny, but I mean, I find it very hard to remember every little detail that you have said in the last 6 minutes. It's literally impossible for the human brain. Well, mine anyway. Maybe there is something wrong with mine. But I will find it very hard if I allow you to tell me multiple problems in the space of 10, 15 minutes. My brain is certainly not going to be able to to uncode all of that.” (Taken from the iPhone transcript of my recording of the call). I do want to stress that I don’t blame her at all but as one of the few humans that it is possible to talk to she clearly had not been trained to ‘deal with issues’ only to pass them on to an online link for me to tell another BOT. The latest addition to one of the customer email chains this evening; Has the fix been approved yet? When it does, do I need to re-download the app or should the existing installation work? What am I supposed to tell these people? It’s not much of an app I know but the people who bought my app, many of them years ago, rely on it and mostly love it. I simply can’t believe that anyone very senior at Apple can even know how bad App Store Connect is, I could provide a list and Google and YouTube and so many forums are overrun with complaints. Turns out that you can’t complain if you are a developer. You can appeal but you can only appeal the rejection you cannot appeal the lack of information, support and assistance. Hey APPLE the AI isn’t that good yet. Mind you the help, support and simplicity of use wasn’t much better even before AI. I have removed the contact details of my customer above and resisted the temptation of pasting in lots of such emails here. So far I have resisted replying to all of the complaining customers and asking them to talk to Apple, but that would not be kind to my customers. You should be able to find my email address if you want to offload to me by email, please feel free but I can’t promise to reply, I have a big problem to try to sort out at the moment. Good luck to you all, particularly if you need help from Apple.

Private Cloud Compute Eligibility
I am trying to understand the 2 million download limit for access to PCC. It says that Analytics provides information about first time downloads, but the linked documentation explicitly says that Total Downloads in Analytics (which does not seem to exist anymore) includes first time downloads and redownloads. Can you clarify where this data currently exists? While I do not have any apps approaching 2 million right now, my app with the most downloads is entirely free and has been on the App Store since 2012. The app was intended as a Lite version for users to try out and decide whether they wanted the paid version. In modern apps, In-App Purchases accomplish something similar; as I move forward with new apps, I would like to avoid a situation where people increase my first time download count but don't end up using the app. It seems like any freemium model would be detrimental to staying eligible for PCC. Do you have any recommendations?

First Developer ID notarization submissions stuck “In Progress” for 6+ days
Hi, I recently enrolled in the Apple Developer Program and I’m trying to notarize my first Developer ID apps for distribution outside the Mac App Store. All of my valid notarization submissions are stuck in “In Progress”. The oldest one has been stuck since 2026-06-03, and newer submissions are stuck too. None of the valid submissions have moved to Accepted or Invalid, and no log is available. Team ID: TP32Y96XC5 Feedback Assistant: FB22994785 https://feedbackassistant.apple.com/feedback/22994785 Oldest stuck submission: 07865316-b2e0-4529-9790-97a63746d9a9 Hello Developer ID Test.dmg Created: 2026-06-03T12:20:18.595Z Status: In Progress This also happens with other apps/artifacts, so it seems like it may be account-level or team-level rather than an issue with one specific build. Other stuck submissions include: f1574597-154e-4386-a0b1-5560a57dde9d Azad IDE.zip Created: 2026-06-03T23:40:55.335Z aab15661-a883-413a-8a5d-8c78d1d0dabb Azad IDE.zip Created: 2026-06-05T11:29:46.664Z df4bb6dd-38fc-4083-92fa-d0846037fd53 MyMacOSApp-0.1.1-Darwin.dmg Created: 2026-06-05T11:52:54.093Z 305d56b7-a66a-4881-b649-c8738e39f3f2 Azad IDE.zip Created: 2026-06-08T10:58:24.724Z 1947d3c3-fc84-4479-9bee-355c16d51670 Azad IDE.zip Created: 2026-06-08T11:19:58.848Z What I checked: Developer ID certificate is installed and valid. The apps are signed with Developer ID Application: Matan Nahmani (TP32Y96XC5). codesign verification passes locally. Hardened runtime is enabled. notarytool authentication works. notarytool history/info works. notarytool log says the submission log is not yet available for the stuck submissions. I have not received a rejection email for the stuck submissions. Apple Developer System Status shows the notary service as available. Note: I do have one Invalid submission, but that one was intentional. I created it as a negative-control test while following a notarytool tutorial, to confirm that invalid submissions can produce a terminal status. The issue is that all valid Developer ID submissions remain stuck in In Progress. I understand that first-time notarization can take longer because of deeper analysis, but this has now been several days and every valid submission is still pending. Could someone from Apple DTS or the notarization team check whether Team ID TP32Y96XC5 is stuck in the first-time review/notarization queue? Thanks.

Unable to renew membership, no renew button appearing
Hi, I'm unable to renew my Apple Developer Program membershipб the renew button is not appearing in my account. As a result, my app has been removed from the App Store. I need urgent assistance to process the renewal manually so my app can be reinstated as soon as possible. Please advise on next steps. Apple Developer Phone Support isn't responding for 2+ hours of waiting line for 2 consecutive calls. Also, no response via email.

Individual Enrollment Bug: Grayed-out "Enroll Now" Button & No Support Response for Days (Case ID: 102907877035)
Hi everyone, I am experiencing a critical issue with my Apple Developer Program Individual enrollment, and I am completely stuck. My applications (a local Geographic Information Systems project) are completely ready for deployment, but I am blocked by a technical glitch on Apple's end. Originally, I had some regional character issues, so I completely updated my Apple ID to use only English characters ("Recep Guvenc") as recommended. However, right after this update, the "Enroll Now" button in the Apple Developer app became completely grayed out and inactive. When I try through the web browser, it throws the "Enrollment could not be completed" error. I have an open support case regarding this issue (Case ID: 102907877035). Tif replied to a consultant named Christine, resubmitting my entire request in English as requested, but there has been absolutely no response or update for days. We are fully prepared to pay the annual fee and start developing immediately, but this backend glitch is causing a massive delay for our project. Can any Apple Forum Moderator or Engineer please escalate this case and clear the backend restriction on my account? Thank you, Recep Guvenc

Apple Developer Account Shows “Closed” Status but App is Ready for Distribution – Unable to Access App Store Connect
Hi, I can sign in to my Apple ID, but my Apple Developer account shows a “closed” status and I’m unable to access App Store Connect features. My app is currently showing “Ready for Distribution,” so the account appears active, but developer access is restricted. I’ve already contacted Apple Developer Support and am waiting for their response. Also, I temporarily can’t access my primary email due to a verification issue, so I’ve provided an alternate contact email and phone number in my support request. Has anyone experienced a similar situation or knows possible reasons for a “closed” developer status while the app remains approved? Thanks.

Individual-to-Organization Migration Stuck for 30+ Days (All Docs Provided / Enrollment ID: 5SBH3NGW92)
Hello, I am writing here in the hope that an Apple staff member or moderator can review our case or escalate it to the legal/verification team. We are completely blocked. Our team submitted a request to migrate our Apple Developer Program account from an Individual to an Organization membership more than a month ago. We have provided every single piece of required legal corporate verification upfront to avoid bottlenecks, including: D-U-N-S Number (fully matching our legal entity) Partnership Deed Certificate of Incorporation All other requested legal documentation. The Issue: Since submitting, we have received absolute silence. Email Support: Follow-up emails sent directly to the support case go completely unanswered. Phone Support: We try to use the call option during business hours, but after sitting on hold for 15+ minutes on multiple separate calls, the line never connects to a human agent. The Business Impact: Because this administrative migration is stuck, our developer name still displays as an individual. We are completely frozen and unable to push critical updates under our official company name. This is heavily impacting our active development timeline, halting our business velocity, and delaying deployment on App Store Connect. Furthermore, the deployment overhead is already frustrating—for example, having to unnecessarily upload an entire technical app version build just to modify App Store screenshots or promotional graphics makes very little sense from a deployment pipeline perspective, and this support freeze is compounding our frustration. Could a community manager or support advisor please look into this enrollment and escalate it? Enrollment ID: 5SBH3NGW92 Current Status: Stuck in processing for over a month. Thank you.

Org migration stuck 30+ days signing certificate revoked, withdrawal notice contradicts advisor confirmation
Posting here after a month of going in circles through Developer Support email, in the hope an Apple staff member can review or escalate. Timeline: Individual-to-organization migration submitted for Spentz LLC. Enrollment ID: S4QC6PLPTT. During the migration my active signing certificate was revoked. I have been unable to produce ANY builds (EAS or device) for over 30 days. This is the core blocker. 20 May: advisor confirmed my documents were received and forwarded to the review team, and that the team would contact me directly if anything further were needed. Nothing further was requested. 29 May: automated email warning the enrollment would be withdrawn within 7 days if requested info wasn't received but no email has ever specified what is outstanding or where to send it. This directly contradicts the 20 May confirmation. Callback requested only to be left on hold for over an hour before giving up What I'm trying to resolve: (1) confirmation of whether anything is genuinely outstanding from my side and, if so, what and where to send it; (2) assurance the withdrawal timer won't fire while my documents are confirmed with the review team. If any Apple staff can look at S4QC6PLPTT, I'd be grateful. Happy to provide anything needed. This is the sole blocker on a scheduled launch. I can't access the Certificates page.
Hello, about a month ago, the Apple Store account of my former company was closed. I was already registered as a developer, so there's no problem with that. Was my personal account also closed when this company account was shut down? I contacted Apple support about this, and they said they would investigate. I still haven't received a response. Was my account closed? Or is there another issue? Nobody is explaining why this happened.

TestFlight app appears to tester but install fails: “The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist”
I’m having an issue where my TestFlight build is visible to a tester, but installation fails immediately. App details: Platform: iOS Version/builds affected: 0.3.0 (5) and 0.3.0 (6) Device tested: iPhone 14 running iOS 26.5 App status in App Store Connect: Prepare for Submission The app has not been publicly released. What happens: The tester can see the app in the TestFlight app under “Currently Testing”. The Install button is visible. However, tapping Install shows this error: “Could not install "App" Workspace. The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist.” The issue occurred with build 0.3.0 (5), then again after uploading a fresh build 0.3.0 (6). What I have already checked/tried: Build uploads completed successfully in App Store Connect. Build 0.3.0 (5) processed successfully. Build 0.3.0 (6) was uploaded as a fresh build. Build 0.3.0 (6) includes ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption = false in Info.plist. The build is assigned to the internal testing group. The tester invite shows as accepted. I tried using a separate Apple ID/email address that I control. The tester account can see the app in TestFlight. I deleted and reinstalled TestFlight on the device. I confirmed the device/TestFlight account is signed in with the tester Apple ID. Pricing has been set to Free. App Availability has been configured for the relevant region. The app is showing “Prepare for Submission”, not “Removed from Sale”. The build appears in TestFlight, but install still fails. Has anyone seen this state before, where TestFlight can display the app and build to an accepted tester, but install fails with “The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist”? Is there any App Store Connect availability, storefront, app version, or backend distribution state that can cause this? Any guidance on what to check next would be appreciated.

Thanks.

15% Apple Cut
Hi! So if we reach 1m in revenue by the end of this year, what happens then? Does it switch back to 30% for another full year, or does it start again in January 2022 at the 15% rate?

Apple Developer Program enrollment "In Review" for 2 weeks
Hello, I submitted my Apple Developer Program enrollment as an organization on 05/26/2026. My enrollment has been stuck in "In Review" status for approximately two weeks with no updates, no request for additional documentation, and no phone verification call. Enrollment details: D-U-N-S Number: 582645157 Country: Brazil Apple ID has 2FA enabled Work email on custom business domain Website publicly available Enrollment ID: Z9LB3C94GF I am the legal representative authorized to bind the company to Apple agreements. I have already contacted support through the developer contact page with no response. Could an Apple team member please review my enrollment and advise on what may be holding the process? Happy to provide any additional documentation needed. Thank you.
