Need Step-by-Step Instructions for Submitting React Native/Expo App to TestFlight & App Store (Individual Account)
Hello - I’m the Account Holder for an individual Apple Developer Program account. I’m working with freelance junior developers who are building my app in React Native mainly in TypeScript (.tsx) with some JavaScript, with code in GitHub. The app currently runs in Expo Go now. I’ve been directed to this forum for step-by-step guidance. Specifically I need clear, sequential instructions I can give my developers (and what I personally must do on my Mac) so they can produce a properly signed iOS build for TestFlight (internal testing), and Upload that build to App Store Connect and then submit the release to the App Store. Context: This is an individual developer account (not an organization). I am the only person with a Mac. I added them as developers but was told I need to be the one to upload the final build (is this true, and if so, what do they send me to do that, and when they send it to me, can you please tell me exactly what I need to do from there?) I was told about Swift Playground, possible SwiftUI conversion if needed, APK file, and using my Xcode for final submission, but not sure what to make of this that will get it on TestFlight from the current React Native. What I would like to ask for help with is a concise, step-by-step checklist (including exact menu names / commands or tools like EAS Submit, Transporter, or Xcode) of the developers' steps and my admin/account holder steps, so I can hand it to the developers and make sure nothing is missed to get on TestFlight. I’m on a tight timeline, so any clear, detailed guidance would be extremely appreciated. Thank you so much. I have looked everywhere and cannot find a step-by-step!

Is DEXT Driver supporting these Networking Features?
I would like to know if macOS DEXT supports the following networking features: Tx/Rx Multiqueue, RSS, RSC, NS/ARP offload, PTP or packet timestamping and TSN. I couldn't find relevant documentation for these features in the Apple Developer Documentation. If they are supported, could you let me know which features are supported and how to find the corresponding official Apple documentation? Thanks

crash while exectuing __llvm_profile_write_file() in Xcode26.0
I am developing an iOS in-app SDK for collecting code coverage data. The SDK writes coverage data to a specified file by calling __llvm_profile_set_filename and __llvm_profile_write_file. This implementation worked correctly until I switched to Xcode 26.0 to build my project. Now, when __llvm_profile_write_file() is executed, it crashes with the following error stack. Watch App Not available to install
I added an Apple Watch app target for an iOS app. If I install it directly through Xcode it runs, however it seems to be able to communicate with iphone through Watch Connectivity framework and once I close the app it seems to uninstall itself from the watch. When I installed the iphone app frist, the app does not show up on the available apps on the iphone Watch application, what could be the issue ? The iphone app was created using react native through expo. Testing Devices Iphone 13 pro max IOS 26.0.1 --- Apple Watch Series 4 WatchOS 10.6

On Demand Resources does not show an error
I am integrating On Demand Resources into my Unity game. The resources install without any problems if the internet connection is stable: all resources are installed. While testing various scenarios without an internet connection, I encountered the following problem: if I turn off the internet during installation, I don't get any error messages, but if I turn the internet back on, the download no longer continues (and I still don't get an error). If I reopen the application with a stable internet connection, the download will always be at 0%. macOS 15.6: Opened package is not the same at install time
I've created an installation package and it is failing to install on macOS 15.6. The package is, I believe, properly notarized, since it will install correctly on other macOS versions, including 15.5 The only clue I have is the output from installer: installer[8015] : Opened package is not the same at install time installer[8015] : Unable to use PK session due to incompatible packages. Terminating. installer[8015] : Install failed: The Installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install. The installer consists of a a single "component" package, and the outer "product" package. The component package is present, and I can successfully run installer manually to install it, so I don't think the component package is corrupt. Has anyone else encountered this? Are there any tools available to help me diagnose the issue? The logging is not helpful.

Unstable behavior of xcodebuild -showdestinations
Hi, I am having an issue with xcodebuild -showdestinations command. Steps to reproduce: Create a new iOS application project in Xcode or use an existing one. Navigate to this project in a terminal. Run xcodebuild -project 'your-project-name.xcodeproj' -scheme 'your-scheme' -showdestinations What I expect: All destinations available in the Xcode UI should be listed. What I get: It depends. For new projects, I consistently get only generic platform destinations and my connected physical device. When I run the same command on an older project, I sometimes see all the expected destinations. It seems to be a roughly 50/50 chance between the two outcomes. Is there a way to get consistent results from xcodebuild -showdestinations? What can I do to ensure all destinations are listed reliably? Here is a more detailed log and a screenshot: ❯ xcodebuild -workspace 'WorkoutDiary.xcworkspace' -scheme 'WorkoutDiary' -showdestinations Command line invocation: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/usr/bin/xcodebuild -workspace WorkoutDiary.xcworkspace -scheme WorkoutDiary -showdestinations User defaults from command line: IDEPackageSupportUseBuiltinSCM = YES 2025-06-17 19:13:50.261 xcodebuild[34753:6177985] DVTDeviceOperation: Encountered a build number "" that is incompatible with DVTBuildVersion. 2025-06-17 19:13:50.342 xcodebuild[34753:6177959] [MT] DVTDeviceOperation: Encountered a build number "" that is incompatible with DVTBuildVersion. NSUserDefaults + iPhone Transfer Issues
Hi! I was wondering if anyone else encountered similar issues and what the solution ended up being. We're encountering weird sign-in issues on our iOS version of our app. It seems like an uninstall and reinstall solves it, but the issue seems to only impact users who underwent the transfer process from one iOS device to another. What I am curious about: What is copied over from one device to another in this process? Is there a way outside of owning multiple test devices to replicate this flow? Our current suspicion is that NSUserDefaults is not being cleared by our app on first start, and that stale data is copied over during this transfer process, breaking the sign-in until a re-install wipes everything properly. Does it seem like we're on the right track with this assumption, or completely out to lunch?

Not seeing any recent crash reports although there should be some
For my app Find Any File, of which both releases and TestFlight betas were released many times, the TestFlight page tells me that several users have submitted crash reports. And I'm sure the same is true for the MAS releases: (Yes, this shows quite recent ones, but I've seen similar supposed crash report submits in this list before.) However, the actual "Crashes" listing on the appstoreconnect sites hasn't show any new crash reports for many months now: (This is the entirety of crash reports I can get listed, even when removing all filters.) Something appears to be stuck, on Apple's end. The same issue is with Xcode's Organanizer window, for "Crashes": It also used to list only the same very old reports and nothing since May 2024. And just now, when I retried this in Xcode, I'm shown a weird error message I never saw before: Error Downloading Crashes List An error occurred… Access Restricted with adam id: 1207815783 And yes, I'm logged in just fine, under Prefs / Accounts. How am I going to get this investigated? I had already sent an email about this to the Review team, who didn't react to it at all. DTS is only for Code level support, which this isn't. Any help?

Security warning while installing .pkg file in mac OS desktop
We have a macOS application packaged as a .pkg file. To notarize it, we first code-sign individual library folders and the .app bundle using the following command: codesign --force --deep --sign "Developer ID Application: <Our Account Name>, LLC (Team ID)" "Our_product.app" Code Sign result for .app file: Our_prodcut.app: valid on disk Our_product.app: satisfies its Designated Requirement We are using packages tool to create .pkg file with code signed .app file. Steps followed once .pkg file is ready: 1. Product Sign: productsign -sign "Developer ID Installer: <Our Account Name>" output.pkg signed-output.pkg 2. Submit for notorization: `xcrun notarytool submit signed-outout.pkg --keychain-profile "notarytool-password" --wait Received following output: Current status: Accepted................................. Processing complete id: 2d5c450f-5b22-4b4d-9579-ef21c0356548 status: Accepted Transferred Notarization log: xcrun notarytool log 10169892-b28c-407c-b348-edab0b34ef34 --keychain-profile "notarytool-password" Desktop/developer_log_6.json We have observed log with "Accepted" status with issues as "null". 3. Unexpected performance penalty attributed to first Swift Testing test
I have a Swift package with a test suite that contains some tests implemented with Swift Testing. Locally, they run quickly, but when I run them on Semaphore CI (https://semaphore.io), the first Swift Testing test to execute incurs a performance penalty. I'm running the tests with xcodebuild on iOS Simulator: xcodebuild test \ -scheme "Scheme" \ -workspace Workspace.xcworkspace \ -destination "platform=iOS Simulator, name=iPhone 16,OS=18.2" The scheme is configured to use a test plan that has parallelization disabled. Here's an excerpt from the output showing what I'm seeing: Test Suite 'All tests' started at 2025-04-03 07:47:37.328. ◇ Test run started. ↳ Testing Library Version: 102 (arm64-apple-ios13.0-simulator) ◇ Iteration 1 started. ◇ Suite <redacted> started. ◇ Test foo() started. ✔ Test foo() passed after 23.063 seconds. When foo() is not the first test it runs in under 100 ms. The reason that I have parallelization disabled is that I was initially seeing all of the tests in this suite incur a performance hit. But now it's clear that there must be some startup cost. Things I'm wondering: What is this startup penalty? Why don't I encounter it locally? Why is it attributed to the first test? (this seems like a bug) My wild guesses around 1 so far have been… maybe some simulator clone is booting. I've tried to rule that out by disabling parallelization, but maybe there's still something there. maybe swift testing is getting loaded lazily and there's some kind of dynamic linking cost Thoughts on 2… maybe there's some one-time penalty when using swift testing that I've already incurred locally but that has not yet been incurred in the CI image Guidance welcome! x-posted: FB17102970 (Unexpected performance penalty attributed to first Swift Testing test) https://forums.swift.org/t/first-swifttesting-test-always-slow/79066
