Siri Issues
Hello I have the 16 pro max with 18.3 iOS update and I've noticed my Siri stops working or responding at times. I have shut down the phone and restart in order to get it working again. Any suggestions? Will the next update focus in Siri and its changes and finally am I the only one?

how to determine the Account Holder for a company / organization's Developer membership?
Greetings everyone, this is my first post here...thanks in advance for any guidance you may have. I work for a non-profit (charity status) and was attempting to sign up for a Developer account, with a fee waiver, in order to do some work for our organization that requires Developer access (enabling Sign In With Apple on a Discourse forum). I've received an e-mail from Developer Support saying my application was denied because there is already an Account Holder for our company's "existing membership." We are a small team that experiences a lot of turnover, and I presume this has to do with a predecessor. I've written back to support and am awaiting a reply, but am concerned they might only reply to whatever e-mail address is associated with this "existing membership" and that very well might be an inactive mailbox in our Google Workspace. I've explained all that and asked Apple if they can please let me know who this previous contact is. It's been a few days, while I'm waiting I thought I would ask if there is any other way to look up the contact for a given organization, or if I just need to wait and hope to hear back from Developer Support? Thanks for any advice.

Incorrect Screen time of few apps & total screen time
Hello, I am using an iPhone 15 with iOS 18.2.1, and I've noticed an issue with the screen time statistics for my app usage. Specifically, the screen time for my Google Pay app shows around 2 hours of usage on a given day, even though I only spend about a minute per transaction. Even if I assume multiple payments throughout the day, the total should not exceed 15 minutes. This discrepancy is concerning to me, as it is affecting my personal relationships and raising trust issues, as my partner is questioning what I could have been doing on the app for such an extended period. I would appreciate it if this issue could be looked into and resolved as soon as possible.

Enable Cellular Data Usage Counter - eSIM
I have two eSIMs from different providers. One shows data usage in settings>Mobile Service>Mobile Data For ……. It shows ‘Current Period‘ and ‘Roaming ‘usage for this eSIM but not the other one. I have contacted the help desk for the provider and they say it’s not enabled. I am assuming they mean they have not set it on the sims provided Or in Carrier Bundle. Is there any way of enabling this through the device using any software tool etc.?? thanks in advance

lowQualityThumbnail in QLThumbnailGenerator stops working from 15.2
Our code is using .lowQualityThumbnail to generate a thumbnail, it stops working when users update to 15.2 . Test it with a regular jpg file for fileURL. The only way to make it work is to change it to .thumnail or remove it. It's not deprecated, is it a MacOS bug? customers don't want to keep updating the software. Everything works in MacOS 15.1 import QuickLookThumbnailing func generateThumbnail(for fileURL: URL, size: CGSize, scale: CGFloat) { let request = QLThumbnailGenerator.Request(fileAt: fileURL, size: size, scale: scale, representationTypes: .lowQualityThumbnail) QLThumbnailGenerator.shared.generateBestRepresentation(for: request) { thumbnail, error in if let error = error { print("Error generating thumbnail: \(error)") } else if let thumbnail = thumbnail { // Use the thumbnail let image = thumbnail.uiImage // Do something with the image } } }

NFC-Based Peer-to-Peer Payments in iOS
Dear Community, We are in the process of developing a mobile banking application and have a key requirement related to NFC-based peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions. Our goal is to enable secure and seamless money transfers between two devices using NFC. Business Requirement: The application will provide a feature where users can initiate money transfers via NFC. The sender starts an NFC payment session from their device. Simultaneously, the receiver starts an NFC session to accept the payment. The sender's device should be able to detect the receiver’s NFC tag and process the transaction securely. We would like to confirm whether iOS supports such a use case. Your guidance on the feasibility of this feature, along with any technical or policy-related considerations, would be highly valuable. Looking forward to your response.

Universal link only on subdomain not on top level domain
In our iOS app we have added example.com in associated domains from the very beginning With no AASA file hosted at example.com domain Now we need a subdomain app.example.com to be intercepted in our app, so for the same, we are thinking to host AASA at app.example.com and add app.example.com in associated domains too. so my question is will hosting AASA at sub domain works? If yes, will it affect older apps where app.example.com is not handled. In short we only want the links with app.example.com to be open in our app not the example.com links

Does My Swift Student Challenge App Need to Be Fully Functional?
Hi everyone, I'm working on my submission for the Swift Student Challenge and wanted to clarify something—does the application need to be fully functional in every aspect to be eligible for submission? Or is it acceptable if some features aren't fully implemented, as long as the overall experience showcases my coding skills and creativity? Would appreciate any insights from past participants or anyone familiar with the guidelines! Thanks!

Adding segments/splits into workout
Hello, I am building a workout app that has an option to add segments to differentiate different stages of the training session. Segments are added the following way: func saveSegment(eventType: HKWorkoutEventType, startDate: Date, endDate: Date, inSeg: Int) async throws { let dateInterval = DateInterval(start: startDate, end: endDate) let event = HKWorkoutEvent(type: eventType, dateInterval: dateInterval, metadata: metadata) try await builder?.addWorkoutEvents([event]) } Inside Health -> Workouts -> Show All Data, the segments appear, but in Fitness app there are no segments. The workout is .paddleSports. I thought that maybe the workout type was the problem, but when I start the sessions from the native workout app, segments are added and shown in the Fitness app: In other posts I saw suggested to add an event as .marker instead of .segment, but the result is the same, it does not appear. Is there something I am doing wrong? How can I show the segments into the Fitness app? Another question, I would like to add stroke rate and stroke count to my paddling session, is there a way to add it? Paddle Sports workout was recently introduced and it would be great to have the option to add those values. Thank you in advance. Inaki
