Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to edit the bootps.plist which is in the system / library directory. I have an M4 MacBook running OS 15.3.2 and I've held down the power button to go into recovery mode, and in terminal entered the 'csrutil disable' command and have restarted but when I go back to 'get info - Sharing & Permissions' I can't change any of the permissions. I need to be able to edit this file to create DHCP server. How can I change edit permissions on the bootps.plist?

We are currently listening to App Store Server Notifications V2 and have encountered an issue with notification ordering. Hi Apple Developers! I’m using the DetectBarcodesRequest function to identify QR codes in some images and PDFs. However, I’m facing an issue where the function doesn’t detect the barcode on certain documents and machines, while it works on others using the same document. The only common factor I’ve noticed is that the machines that successfully identify the QR code of the “problematic” document are all heavy developer machines that have Xcode installed. Interestingly, this doesn’t seem to be related to processor type (Intel vs. Apple Silicon). Could you please provide some guidance or leads on how to resolve this issue?

Dear Developers, I am wondering if there is a way to build on the current "Low Fuel" notification. Currently, if my low fuel light activates while Carplay is on, a low fuel notification is also sent to my phone. If the car can communicate this, can it also communicate mileage range? This way, if I'm in the middle of a route and the low fuel light engages, Carplay could suggest the nearest gas stations on the route within the remaining mileage range. Any information would be very helpful!

Can iOS support Bluetooth trackpad?

I purchased an iPad Pro M4 in early December, and since day one, I’ve been experiencing a recurring issue. Almost every day, at random times, the device freezes for 1–5 minutes and then restarts itself. The tablet is not under heavy load when this happens — I mainly use it for light tasks such as watching videos in a player or Safari browser, web surfing, and reading books. The issue has even occurred while the iPad was idle and locked; it froze, displayed the Apple logo, and rebooted. I brought the device back to the store where I purchased it, and they sent it for a diagnostic check. However, the experts concluded that the device is fully functional, and no defects were found. After one of these crashes, I noticed that my Apple Pencil started lagging (see video file IMG_5688.MOV). However, after another reboot, the issue with the Apple Pencil resolved itself. I’ve documented the issue with several video recordings showing the freezing and rebooting behavior, as well as error logs generated after such incidents. Device Details: Model: iPad Pro M4 Usage: Light tasks only (video streaming, web browsing, reading) Environment: No overheating, no resource-heavy applications running What could be causing this issue, and how can I resolve it? when I receive calls on my mobile number and I am connected to a Wifi, the calls is cancelled after the second ring and the caller receives a busy signal. That means I cannot receive calls anymore. This problems happens with different mobile providers and does not occur on my Samsung Galaxy Phone with the same number (eSim). Even when I disable WIFI Calling the problem persists, when I am connected to a WIFI. Only when I disable the WIFI Connect and I am only connected to the mobile carrier, the calls go throuhg in a normal way. VERY annoying and hast not been fixed with Beta 3 of iOS 18.4. Any clue how this can be solved with settings? Hope Apple fixes this very soon!

Since macOS 15.4 Beta 2, my App Store has been unable to install or download any new applications; it can only download applications I have previously purchased. It appears as follows: when I click 'Get,' the system spins to load and then returns to the initial state. Upon checking system error reports, it seems there's an issue with AMSUIPaymentViewService_macOS [2113]. This problem persists despite changing credit cards or even removing all credit cards. macOS 15.4 Beta 3 has not fixed this error.

Hello I have the 16 pro max with 18.3 iOS update and I've noticed my Siri stops working or responding at times. I have shut down the phone and restart in order to get it working again. Any suggestions? Will the next update focus in Siri and its changes and finally am I the only one?

After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty. Bugs ? Passpoint connections are established and function correctly, with network communication unimpeded. However, a display issue where the SSID field is blank is present on macOS versions 13 through 15 inclusive. This issue persists even when utilizing connection profiles created with Apple Configurator. Help me. Thks

I upgraded my macOS to 13.7.5 and since then I cannot open Adobe InDesing on my iMac. I contacted Adobe Support to assist with the issue and they couldn't find any solution from their side. Probably the update is not compatible? Is there a way I can solve this issue? Or remove the beta version from my system?

Our app provides configuration and maintenance features for Siemens electrical devices. The app supports multiple devices and the devices have their own specific features, which also need to be supported by our App. The devices can be released to the market only when our app supports those features. Our app release timeline is once in every 4 months. We face a challenge when some of these devices are not able to deliver their features by our release time. So, we would like to make these devices plugins, which can be independently released, without releasing the App every time. The app would, of course, be released once in every 4 months, depending on the common features. I'm not able to find how to release only the plugins within the app, without releasing the entire app. Some one has suggested app extensions, but that does not fit our solution as in some cases, we need continuous polling of data from one or mode devices for minutes or hours, as the app can be used by the user to monitor some of the device values.

After I got my repaired phone back from the shop, I noticed that iphone mirroring is not functioning like normal. I tried every solutions from deleting the .plist files and reset my phone's connection, but now it seems like the problem comes from the mirroring app itself. After deleting the .plist file and resetting the MBP, the setup for the mirroring app won't let me continue, as clicking the "continue" button only flash the descriptions of the mirroring feature for a slight moment, then return to the same setup UI as before. Is there anyway to completely delete and reinstall this app so that it functions again?

I have two eSIMs from different providers. One shows data usage in settings>Mobile Service>Mobile Data For ……. It shows ‘Current Period‘ and ‘Roaming ‘usage for this eSIM but not the other one. I have contacted the help desk for the provider and they say it’s not enabled. I am assuming they mean they have not set it on the sims provided Or in Carrier Bundle. Is there any way of enabling this through the device using any software tool etc.?? thanks in advance

In preparing my ipad 7th gen for resale, I factory reset and now it will not power up. Tried hard reset, new cables, different computer. iTunes does not recognize the ipad yet device manager shows it hooked to usb port. Any advice? Thanks!
