Game Center and Push Notifications
I have used the Push Notifications Console and verify that the test notification reaches my device (it says "not necessarily the app"). However, GameCenter notifications are not reaching the app. When one device passes the turn, the turn is successfully passed as seen in the Matchmaker VC. However, the app does not get the turn pass notification whether or not it is running. No banner appears if the app is not running (but it does when using the Push Notifications Console). Please advise.

Third party payment service
Hi everyone, I have a question regarding App Store approval. In my country, Apple In-App Purchases are not supported, so for users in unsupported regions we need to use a third-party payment provider. For countries where In-App Purchases are supported, we plan to use Apple IAP. Could you please advise on the correct approach to ensure the app complies with App Store guidelines and can be approved?

iOS 26 UI transparency causes readability and accessibility issues
This issue affects core system UI elements such as Control Center, notifications, and system apps. In iOS 26, the Liquid Glass UI introduces excessive transparency and blur across the system. This significantly reduces text readability, lowers contrast, and causes visual fatigue during prolonged use. There is currently no true option to fully disable Liquid Glass effects. Existing accessibility settings only partially mitigate the issue and do not restore a solid, high-contrast interface similar to iOS 18. Please consider adding a system-wide toggle to completely disable Liquid Glass and transparency effects, or provide a solid UI mode for users who prioritize readability and visual comfort. This is especially important for accessibility, as the current design negatively impacts users sensitive to eye strain and low contrast.

Building with Xcode on macOS Tahoe does not launch in iOS 12
When trying to launch an app built with Xcode in iOS12, differences occur depending on the macOS version on which Xcode is installed. When building with Xcode 26.2 (or Xcode 16.4) installed on macOS Sequoia, installing it on iOS 12 and tapping the app icon launches the app. When building with Xcode 26.2 (or Xcode 16.4) installed on macOS Tahoe, installing it on iOS 12 and tapping the app icon does not launch the app. The following log was displayed upon launch: Dec 15 11:46:35 xxx assertiond[58] <Notice>: Submitting new job for "com.xxx.sample" on behalf of <BKProcess: 0x10151a710; SpringBoard; com.apple.springboard; pid: 48; agency: SystemShell; visibility: foreground; task: running> Dec 15 11:46:35 xxx assertiond[58] <Notice>: Submitted job with label: UIKitApplication:com.xxx.sample[0x2dfd][58] Dec 15 11:46:35 xxx assertiond[58] <Notice>: Unable to get pid for 'UIKitApplication:com.xxx.sample[0x2dfd][58]': No such process (3) The same issue occurs with both .app and .ipa. I would like to know the technical reason behind this, if anyone knows, please let me know.

iPadOS 26.x ignores supportedInterfaceOrientations on iPad when device orientation lock is OFF
Environment Device: iPad Air (5th generation, M1) OS Version: iPadOS 26.1 Device Orientation Lock: OFF Stage Manager / Multitasking: Disabled App Mode: Full screen (UIRequiresFullScreen = true) Supported Orientations: iPhone: Portrait + Landscape iPad: Landscape only Description On iPadOS 26.x, when device orientation lock is OFF, iPad apps that support only landscape orientation can be displayed in portrait orientation, even though portrait is explicitly not supported for iPad. This issue: Occurs not only at app launch Can also happen during runtime, such as: Returning to the app from background Unlocking the device Rotating the device while the app is running Switching focus (Control Center, Notification Center, multitasking gestures) When orientation lock is ON, the system consistently respects the app’s supported interface orientations and the issue does not occur. This behavior is a regression in iPadOS 26.x. Expected Behavior Regardless of device orientation lock state: The system should never display an app in an unsupported orientation supportedInterfaceOrientations must always be enforced Physical device orientation should only be applied within supported orientations Actual Behavior With orientation lock OFF: The system can force the app into portrait orientation This happens even though portrait is not listed in UISupportedInterfaceOrientations~ipad The app UI becomes incorrectly laid out or broken With orientation lock ON: Orientation behavior is correct and stable This suggests iPadOS 26.x is allowing device orientation to override supportedInterfaceOrientations during runtime. Info.plist Configuration UIRequiresFullScreen UISupportedInterfaceOrientations UIInterfaceOrientationPortrait UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeLeft UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight UISupportedInterfaceOrientations~ipad UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeLeft UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight

When using Promotional Offers to upgrade a subscription, a prompt appears indicating an expiration date for upgrading.
Two subscriptions, Plus and Max, are under the same subscription group, with Max having a higher tier than Plus. Promotional Offers for Max are configured in Apple Store Connect. When a user subscribes to Plus and then upgrades to Max using Promotional Offers, they are prompted with "Upgrade upon expiration" (Figure 1); if they don't use Promotional Offers, they are prompted to "Upgrade immediately" (Figure 2). Question 1: What is the situation with the "upgrade upon expiration" message in Figure 1? Is upgrading using Promotional Offers special? I couldn't find any relevant explanation in Apple's technical documentation. Question 2: Figure 1 shows an "upgrade upon expiration," but after subscribing, the webhook still shows the subscription start time as the current time, meaning the upgrade hasn't started immediately. Is the message incorrect?

Xcode Intelligence AI feature seems to fail on slow networks
Intelligence AI powered feature fails on complex project with network error when “Reasoning” is set higher then “Low”. The visual feedback shows sending some context and answer being generated, but eventually stops with network error. Retries with “Reasoning” set higher than “Low”. won’t help, but retries or same queries with “Low” or "Minimal" reasoning always succeed. It is obvious that connectivity is not lost but looks like some kind of timeout expires and cancels the response, even not the request. Visual feedback shows the context being successfully uploaded and even shows the indicator of the answer being generated.

iOS App rejected
Guideline 2.5.1 - Performance - Software Requirements The app uses or references the following non-public or deprecated APIs: Iobmobile Classes: • __SwiftValue The use of non-public or deprecated APIs is not permitted, as they can lead to a poor user experience should these APIs change and are otherwise not supported on Apple platforms. Can anyone she some light as to what __SwiftValue even means?

VisionKit - crash after photo taken in VNDocumentCameraViewController in iOS 26 when Liquid Glass enabled

CoreML Unified Memory failure/silent exit on long video tasks (M1 Mac 32GB)
Hi Apple Engineers, I am experiencing a potential memory management bug with CoreML on M1 Mac (32GB Unified Memory). When processing long video files (approx. 12,000 frames) using a CoreML execution provider, the system often completes the 'Analysing' phase but fails to transition into 'Processing'. It simply exits silently or hits an import error (scipy). However, if I split the same task into small 20-frame segments, it works perfectly at high speeds (~40 FPS). This suggests the hardware is capable, but there is an issue with memory fragmentation or resource cleanup during long-running CoreML sessions. Is there a way to force a VRAM/Unified Memory flush via CLI, or is this a known limitation for large frame indexing?

App Clip Experience Does Not Update Content After Initial Creation (Persistent Caching Issue)
Hi everyone, We’re running into a serious issue with App Clip Experience updates not propagating to devices, and I’m hoping someone here has encountered (or solved) this before. Problem Once an App Clip Experience is created and used on devices, subsequent updates made in App Store Connect do not reflect on any devices, even after a long period of time. We’ve tried: • Updating the App Clip Experience URL (adding utm parameters, for example, utm_source and scanning via QR code) • Modifying Experience metadata/content • Waiting several days (over a week) • Testing on multiple devices (including devices that never opened the App Clip before) Despite this, the App Clip continues to show the initially created content, while App Store Connect clearly shows the updated configuration. Important Details • We currently have ~1,300 App Clip Experiences created • All App Clips use the same App Clip Bundle ID • The content behind the URLs updates correctly on the website • Only the App Clip continues to show stale / initial data • Removing and re-invoking the App Clip on devices does not consistently fix the issue At this point, manual updates via App Store Connect appear to be completely ignored once the App Clip is “established.” Questions 1. Is there a known hard cache or CDN behavior on Apple’s side that prevents App Clip Experience updates from propagating? 2. Is there any way to invalidate or refresh an existing App Clip Experience? 3. Does having a large number of App Clip Experiences (~1300) affect update behavior or caching? 4. Is the recommended approach to treat App Clip Experience as immutable and handle all updates via backend / dynamic content only? Right now it feels like: App Clip Experience is effectively a one-time snapshot and not a live-updatable configuration. Any insights, confirmations, or official guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Prevent batch operations on Secure Enclave
Hi, I have an application that uses SecureEnclave keys to protect secrets. By passing an LAContext object to the Secure Enclave operations, authentication state can be preserved across decrypt operations, and you do not need to re-authenticate for doing different operations. However, for security reasons, I would like to avoid that it is possible to do operations in batch with certain keys generated by the Secure Enclave, by any application. This would avoid malicious binaries to batch-extract all the secrets that are protected by a key from my Secure Enclave, and force to re-authenticate on every operation. Is there a way to prevent batch operations without re-authenticating for Secure Enclave keys? thanks, Remko

'Certificates, IDs & Profiles' section missing from developer.apple.com
The entire 'Certificates, IDs & Profiles' section is missing from developer.apple.com portal for one of the accounts I am a developer for. The Team is also missing from the dropdowns in Xcode in Code Signing. The organization account membership is paid through July 2026, and I do not see that the Account Holder needs to sign any agreements. I am a user on other accounts, and none of them have this issue. Does anyone know what's going on?

Unable to enable Finder Sync Extension
Hi, I am developing a NSReplicatedFileProvider extension. Part of that I am also doing a Finder Sync Extension, but I am for whatever reason unable to enable the extension. What am I missing? it is signed properly, it has the right app group. Is there anything else I nede to enable for it? When I do this: pluginkit -m | grep -i XXXFinderSync I get com.clio.XXX-Desktop.XXXFinderSync(1.0) Not that - shows up as bullet point. The hyphen signifies it is disabled.
