How can I reset or cancel an Apple Developer Program enrollment with an incorrect name?

I started an Apple Developer Program enrollment, but I accidentally entered the wrong name during the process. The enrollment was not completed yet.

I would like to know what is the correct way to reset, cancel, or restart the enrollment so I can submit it again with my correct legal name.

I already contacted Apple Developer Support, but I have not been able to resolve the issue yet. I would appreciate any guidance on the proper next step.

I wanted to update my previous post.

Apple Developer Support told me that they reset my Apple Developer Program enrollment. However, the issue still remains.It seems that the incorrect name is still stuck specifically inside the Developer enrollment flow, even after the reset.

My Apple Account now shows my correct legal name, but when I try to enroll in the Apple Developer Program, the old incorrect name still appears and I cannot edit it.

At this point, I have contacted Apple Developer Support again and asked for their official guidance regarding a more complete reset, including whether permanently deleting my current Apple Account and creating a new one would be a possible solution.

If Apple confirms that one of these options is possible and actually resolves the issue, I will update this post for anyone who may face the same problem in the future.

Update for developers who may come after me:

On June 1, 2026, Apple got back to me and asked me to attach an ID card/passport, etc., in order to verify my name.

I sent them the documents that same day.

I still haven’t heard back from them, but at least it looks like a reasonable handling process has started.

I’ll keep updating once the issue is resolved.

Update For those who will come after d:

Today (June 11), I received a response confirming that my documents were successfully received and that the issue had been corrected.

Unfortunately, when I attempt to continue the enrollment process, the same incorrect information still appears during the enrollment stage.

I have replied to the support team and requested that the case be escalated to a higher-level support team for further investigation.

Just for the sake of trying everything, I’m also going to submit a new enrollment application through the website. I know it’s unlikely to make a difference and probably shouldn’t be necessary, but at this point I’m getting a bit desperate to move the process forward.

I will post another update if there are any developments.
