Sequoia 15.3 Beta 24D5034f
Hi folks, First - I'm not a developer. Some time ago I came across Sequoia Beta and installed it thinking it was just a usage data collection thing. I recently wanted to delete it because I suspected it was causing other issues, but was only offered to have updates stopped. My MacBook Pro M2 still says I'm running Sequoia 15.3 (Beta 24D5034f). I have another, maybe unrelated issue and posted a question about it on Apple Community but the question was deleted and I was pointed here because I mentioned the Beta! This was my question: I can FaceTime from the iPhone but when I try to FaceTime from the Mac, I get a notification on the Mac saying: "iPhone calls not available. Your iPhone is not configured to allow calls using this Mac". My iPhone is a 14Plus on iOS 18.2.1 (22C161). I've tried the iPhone and Mac fixes suggested by Apple but no luck there - that was all about turning iMessages and FaceTime off or signing out for both devices, then power cycling both devices. I don't understand how this is supposed to work. Could my issue be related to the Beta? If so, and in any case, how do I remove the Beta? TIA

Flutter Hanging Splash Screen
Hi All, Im writing a flutter app and have had no issue thus far. My latest review says the iPad air (5th) is hanging on the splash (launch) screen. I have no idea why this is. The main method In flutter is more or less empty, as functions have been offset elsewhere. I'm not quite sure what to do next. I resorted to rebuilding the IOS dir and that make a difference for the iPhone issue not the iPad. I run it in the simulator and notice one issue which I imagine is the problem. it states: Errors found! Invalidating cache... fopen failed for data file: errno = 2 (No such file or directory) Errors found! Invalidating cache... I'm using plane old flutter and don't believe I access any assets that aren't specified. Any pointer would be a great help!

After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty.
After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty. Bugs ? Passpoint connections are established and function correctly, with network communication unimpeded. However, a display issue where the SSID field is blank is present on macOS versions 13 through 15 inclusive. This issue persists even when utilizing connection profiles created with Apple Configurator. Help me. Thks

Sidecar between macbook and ipad not connecting
Hi, I have a Retina 13 inch 2020 macbook air and an iPad 7. My macbook is updated to macOS sonoma and my iPad is updated to iPadOS 18.3. I want to use the sidecar feature on my mac and project the macbook display onto my iPad. I remember it working around a year ago when I used this feature before, but now it's telling me I have issues connecting due to my iPad's WiFi being 'unavailable.' However, my iPad isn't connecting to hot-spot, my mac isn't sharing the internet connection, they're linked to the same apple ID account, and they're on the same WiFi network. I've tried connecting both wirelessly and wired (and trusted the computer) but no matter how much I troubleshoot it, it won't connect. I'd be really grateful if somebody could help me fix this. Mac App Store Unable to Install or Purchase Any New Applications
Since macOS 15.4 Beta 2, my App Store has been unable to install or download any new applications; it can only download applications I have previously purchased. It appears as follows: when I click 'Get,' the system spins to load and then returns to the initial state. Upon checking system error reports, it seems there's an issue with AMSUIPaymentViewService_macOS [2113]. This problem persists despite changing credit cards or even removing all credit cards. macOS 15.4 Beta 3 has not fixed this error.

Enabling Just-In-Time compiler on "Emulators" on AppStore and/or enabling hypervisor to the iPad
Hello, why is apple won’t adding Just-In-Time compiler to ”Emulators” in the app store. And/or hypervisor for newer devices. i feel like UTM (which is a PC Emulator) or other Apps that emulate need JIT to work properly, and will consume significantly less battery to emulate/virtualize, And will have a noticeably better performance than just not enabling JIT, and by the way jit is already being used on iPadOS/iOS 18.3/18.3.1 and newer/older version of that so being enabled by the choice of the developer of the App is more convenient than doing it with tools. and by the why apple wont let emulators on iPads and newer iPhones do hypervisor, it’s better than JIT but requires a good cpu, like making it available to people with newer/powerful devices, hypervisor is better than JIT by a lot and removing it in iPadOS/iOS 18.4 was an unnecessary choice?, becuase it had a better potential in virtualization instead of emulating, and I feel like enabling it In M1-M2 iPads and A14-18pro and newer devices is just better from having it disabled, to unlock the fullest potential of the iPad it needs to have a app or something to do instead of just running high graphics games/or Apps.

Current issues: Context: Last operation before termination: "App submission" No warning emails or policy violation details received (checked spam folder) Attempted Solutions: Submitted appeal via Developer Support Page, no response yet Reviewed all apps against 《App Store Review Guidelines》, no obvious violations found Questions: Are there alternative ways to contact Apple support directly? How to Get Incoming Call Notifications to Create a Phone App in iOS 18.2+?
I am trying to create a phone app that can receive incoming call notifications using CallKit, as described in Apple's CallKit documentation. Added the com.apple.developer.calling-app entitlement in my .entitlements file. Implemented CXProvider and set up the delegate methods (provider:perform: and providerDidReset). Added UIBackgroundModes with voip in Info.plist. Configured CXProviderConfiguration to support phone numbers. I expected to receive incoming call notifications when my app was set as the default calling app. However, I am not receiving any notifications when an incoming call arrives. How can I properly detect and handle incoming calls in my default calling app? Is there any additional configuration required for iOS 18.2+?

Issue with App Store Server Notifications V2 - Notification Ordering Problem
We are currently listening to App Store Server Notifications V2 and have encountered an issue with notification ordering. Specifically, there are instances where Apple sends the DID_CHANGE_RENEWAL_STATUS notification before the INITIAL_BUY notification. This leads to a situation where we are unable to process the cancellation of a transaction that is unknown to us at the time of the renewal status change. Could you please clarify why this occurs? If this is a bug, could you kindly address it and implement a fix? Below, I have included examples that illustrate the issue. Firebase Notification Fails to Dismiss Voip CallKit UI in Background & Terminated Mode
Hi everyone, I am developing a VoIP calling feature in my Flutter app, using: Agora RTC Engine for real-time calls. CallKit & PushKit (VoIP notifications) for iOS call handling. Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for notifications. Problem: CallKit UI Stays on Screen When Caller Hangs Up (Background/Terminated) I am using Firebase notifications to notify the receiver that the call should be dismissed, but it doesn’t work in the following cases: App is in the background – CallKit UI remains stuck even after receiving the Firebase notification. App is terminated – The Firebase notification does not trigger any background execution, so CallKit UI stays forever. Current Implementation I send an FCM notification to inform the receiver to dismiss CallKit UI. When received in the foreground, it works fine (callEnded method is triggered). But in background or terminated state, the notification is not received or doesn’t execute the code.

Iphone mirroring not functioning properly
After I got my repaired phone back from the shop, I noticed that iphone mirroring is not functioning like normal. I tried every solutions from deleting the .plist files and reset my phone's connection, but now it seems like the problem comes from the mirroring app itself. After deleting the .plist file and resetting the MBP, the setup for the mirroring app won't let me continue, as clicking the "continue" button only flash the descriptions of the mirroring feature for a slight moment, then return to the same setup UI as before. Is there anyway to completely delete and reinstall this app so that it functions again?

With CarPlay communication plugin R18.1, I followed these steps to integrate Enhance siri, the music sound was output from carplay and there is no option for output to Car. ============================================ Enhanced Siri Declare supported audioFormats for the AuxIn and AuxOut streams Since the AuxIn and AuxOut streams for Siri do not have to be both active at the same time, the accessory must claim audio formats support for AuxIn Audio and AuxOut audio independently. The audio formats for each stream can differ from each other (48KHz for AuxOut and 16KHz for AuxIn). The new audio types represent these new streams - AuxIn/speechRecognition & AuxOut/speechRecognition. Check if connected device supports the feature AirPlayReceiverSessionHasFeatureEnhancedSiri() Claim support in the Setup Response message if device supports the feature Add kAirPlayKeyAccessoryEnabledFeature_EnhancedSiri key through the AirPlayReceiverServer delegate AirPlayReceiverServerCopyProperty_f function for the kAirPlayKey_AccessoryEnabledFeatures key. If the accessory can determine which zone activated, it can provide the zone with the request. Invoke the Communication Plugin to stop buffering You may need to invoke the plugin to stop buffering (AirPlayReceiverSessionAuxInStop()) if exclusive access to the microphone is necessary. A wired keyboard connected via a hub cannot wake up the iPad on iOS version after 18.0
Problem Description: On the iPad 10th tablet, when a USB 2.0 interface extended by a Type - C interface through a USB 2.0 hub is used to connect a keyboard, there is an issue that the keyboard cannot wake up the system when the system version is 18.0 (inclusive) or higher. However, this problem does not occur on systems earlier than 18.0. Note: To ensure low power consumption of the product, if there is no key press on the keyboard for 10 minutes, the power supply of some functions of the hub will be cut off, but the power supply of the keyboard will remain on. When a key is pressed, the power supply of all functions of the hub will be reconnected.

Help accessing audio input from Mac
Hello there, I am a casual game modder for a game called Vintage Story and I had a question about accessing audio input from a Mac. Some other modders in my community developed a proximity chat system that allows players to hear one another via microphone while in physical proximity within the game. It apparently works very well on Windows but unfortunately they don’t seem to know how to get the mod to receive audio input from a Mac. I spoke with them and they are looking for some Mac devs who might be able to help them. Would anyone here be able to shed light on this or know any Mac devs who could?
