AccessorySetupKit Remove paired accessory from app
Current if we use the removeAccessory(_:completionHandler:) method in ASAccessorySession, it removes the accessory from the system and all apps that have previously paired also lose access. Is there a way to remove the paired accessory only from the app from where the removeAccessory() call is being made? This would be useful in cases where one or more accessories are shared across apps and we need to manage them.

Transaction.id will be repeated in Apple in-app purchase
In the sandbox environment, when I quickly and repeatedly purchase an item, Transaction.id will be repeated. Will there be duplication in the production environment? func pay(productId: String, orderId: String) async { guard !productId.isEmpty, !orderId.isEmpty else { return } let orderObj = ApplePayOrderModel.init(orderId: orderId, productId: productId) do { let result = try await Product.products(for: [productId]) guard let product = result.first else { return } let purchaseResult = try await product.purchase() switch purchaseResult { case .success(let verification): switch verification { case .verified(let transaction): orderObj.transactionId = String(transaction.id) await transaction.finish() case .unverified(let transaction, let error): await transaction.finish() } case .userCancelled: break case .pending: break @unknown default: break } } catch { print("error \(error.localizedDescription)") } }

Screen Time issues after transferring App developer account ownership
After transferring the App ownership to a different account, if you update the app on iOS, two identical apps will show up in Settings > Screen Time. Users can't control the blocking settings from before the update - the only fix is to restart the phone. After the next execution of manageStore.shield.applications, users still can't manually disable the restrictions - their only option is to uninstall and reinstall the app. I believe this is related to how Screen Time API's authentication works - it's not just tied to the app's bundle ID, but also linked to the developer account's organization ID. Any suggestions for a clean solution that would allow smooth app updates after the transfer without running into these issues?

In-app purchase fails at first attempt, succeeds at second
Our macOS app has one in-app purchase (IAP) implemented using StoreKit 1. It works for us and beta testers but App Review get SKErrorDomain Error Code 0 / ASDErrorDomain Code 500 / AMSErrorDomain 305 on first attempt to make the in-app purchase. However, the purchase succeeds at second attempt. We've looked through our entire IAP related code and App Store Connect setup but can’t find the reason. It's a standard implementation: LegacyPaymentQueueObserver for SKPaymentQueue observation. AppDelegate for initiation of payment queue observation on app launch LegacyStoreKitPurchasableProduct for initiating a purchase and listening for the result LegacyStoreKitProductsRequester for how we load the product before user can make in-app purchase. It happens this way: PreviewResultsViewModelcalls loadProducts()on an instance of StoreKitPurchaseManager, which asks an instance of LegacyStoreKitProductsRequesterto requestProducts(forIdentifiers:) Any guidance to resolve this would be appreciated.

Push notification of server certificate updates for the service
Background: ① We initiate push notification requests by generating tokens using the p8 certificate. ② The lowest version of the server we use is Ubuntu 16.04, and the image is Alpine Linux 3.15. ③ Currently, the root certificate USERTrust_RSA_Certification_Authority.pem is default in the system and has the same MD5 value as the provided download file. The time for both is 2019. My questions: ① Which certificate should we download and add to the server's trust store, Root Certificates? ② Does the system we are using default include this certificate? ③ What operations are needed for this server certificate replacement?

Universal Links not working even though all debug steps succeed
I am trying to get universal links to work in our app Firefox iOS The Problem: I am not able to get universal links to work for our release app or beta app scheme locally or with a TestFlight build. I am able to get it working on our development scheme with a locally hosted app site association file. I also was able to get it working using our development scheme but setting the bundle id to the release app bundle id. I also built a demo app with the release app id and the release app development certificate. It succeeded there as well. Implementation Steps: Added associated domains entitlement to the production and beta schemes for our main app target (No associated domains entitlements or capabilities added for any extensions) Confirmed that the bundle ids associated with these schemes have the associated domains capability Added applinks:blog.mozilla.org to associated domains list Confirmed in code that user activities are being handled via SceneDelegate.swift Steps to Debug: I have gone through and validated every step in the provided Universal Link Debugging. All were successful: Associated Domains Development -> Diagnostics: Opens Installed App Validate AASA host and applinks match curl -v https://blog.mozilla.org/.well-known/apple-app-site-association returns the expected json file swcutil dl correctly downloads the AASA blob swcutil verify succeeds I have inspected the IPA of our beta build and confirmed the App ID and the associated domains is an entitlement. I have looked at the console logs filtering by swcd. I am not seeing any errors and I see the download for the AASA file kick off: Beginning data task AASA-4BABF039-3C69-4E36-AA4E-ECCDF3D14878 { domain: bl….mo….org, bytes: 0, route: cdn } There is only one error that appears in the console but our app is not enterprise-managed so I assume this is normal. Error getting enterprise-managed associated domains data. If this device is not enterprise-managed, this is normal: Error Domain=SWCErrorDomain Code=1701 "Failed to get associated domain data from ManagedConfiguration framework." UserInfo={NSDebugDescription=Failed to get associated domain data from ManagedConfiguration framework., Line=298, Function=<private>} I have run Sysdiagnos and identified for our App ID: Site/Fmwk Approval: approved I am at a loss as to what is preventing universal links from working even though all validation steps pass.

Dynamically creating and modifying shortcuts
I am needing to add/delete shortcuts in our app without using the Add to Siri button. But have been stymied at every turn. The most recent example is some code that uses an "AppShortcutCenter" call, supposedly added in iOS 17. But there is no such thing as that which I can find. What gives, and what's needed to do custom shortcuts on demand programmatically?

Issues with Multicast Operations using NWConnectionGroup and NWMulticastGroup
Hello, I've been encountering some challenges while working with NWConnectionGroup and NWMulticastGroup for multicast operations on iOS. I have a few doubts and issues that I would like to address: 1. NWMulticastGroup Initialization It seems that when initializing NWMulticastGroup, only one NWEndpoint can be passed, and attempting to pass multiple endpoints results in failure. Can someone confirm if this behavior is correct? 2. Interface Level Control Upon initializing NWConnectionGroup, it appears that packets are received on all interfaces without the ability to control this at the interface level. Is this correct? If not is there a way to configure NWConnectionGroup to receive packets on all interfaces? 3. Sending Behavior During the send operation, it appears that the data is sent through any one of the available interfaces, and there doesn't seem to be an option to configure it to send through all available endpoints. Is there a way to enable sending data through all available endpoints? Any insights, guidance, or solutions to these issues would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone else encountered similar problems or found workarounds for these limitations? Thank you for your assistance and support. Thanks, Harshal

Persist and deliver scheduled local notifications after app update
I have an app available for download in the Apple App Store. The app sends local notifications, which are scheduled at the user's request once the app launches. I've recently learned that when new versions of my app are deployed and automatically update on the user's device, previously scheduled local notifications are deleted. Given my app design, the user can re-launch the app in order to re-schedule the local notifications. This is a bit of a problem, though, because part of my app's value is in reminding the user - so after requesting a local notification, the user expects to receive a local notification and then launch the app, not the other way around. Given this, I've been exploring solutions so my app continues to function as expected (including delivering local notifications, even if the app hasn't yet been launched) after an app update. I've explored .backgroundTasks(), but they too are apparently deleted with an app update and require the app to be re-launched first to work as expected. Another solution might be to use push notifications instead of local notifications, but that seems like a very involved solution if I'm just looking to make sure that local notifications persist after an app update. I can't be the only person to have this dilemma - am I overlooking a simple solution?

Apple Watch Ultra 2 having issues with heart rate measurements
I am using a new Apple Watch Ultra 2 (MX5R3LW/A) running WatchOS 11.3 (22S553). I noticed that the watch often misses heart measurements during meaningfully long segments of exercise sessions. This has been bugging me for a while and today I read an article that described perfectly, and much better than I could, what I am experiencing. Here is the article: https://apple.news/AK_QJyoLaQ1eaeySWHlkLPw Is this a known issue that is being worked? Thanks.

Hello , We are trying MDM APNs push using following command curl.exe -X POST --http2 -k -v --cert PushCert.pem --cacert cacert.pem https://api.push.apple.com/3/device/9BFDFB46D48159D16E5DC80391B765EE99524CF294BB4BF9FB5AEA7A5F3FFD79 -d "{"mdm":"84F0C145-5963-4F06-9D11-DFBDB45802D5"}" -H "apns-topic: com.apple.mgmt.External.c217c1bf-ad51-42a9-9108-2e92ef705b2a" -H "apns-push-type: mdm" The command process correctly there is no error but device doesn't receive the Apns push. At the same time the older device recives the Apns push but newer device not. What can be the cause, how to debug this issue.

Issue with Live Activity Update - "The device token doesn't match the specified topic"
Hi! I am encountering an issue when attempting to send a test notification to update a live activity. The request is failing with the following error: { "code": 400, "message": "bad-request", "reason": "The device token doesn't match the specified topic.", "requestUuid": "3ed3fc0c-9c57-4d67-8ae8-cbabe0579b10" } I have verified that all device tokens and app identifiers are correct, but the error persists. Could you please assist in identifying the root cause of this issue?
