StoreKit returns empty product list in Sandbox (TestFlight, valid IAP setup)
Hello, I’m facing an issue with StoreKit where no products are returned in Sandbox. Context: App: SylvoY (Bundle ID: fr.sylvoy.app) Product ID: sylvoy_sylvoy_premium_v2_monthly Type: auto-renewable subscription Build: TestFlight 1.0.16 (Build 20) Device: physical iPhone Environment: Sandbox account Setup: Paid Applications Agreement: Active Banking & Tax: Active Product status: Ready to Submit Product is linked to the current TestFlight build Issue: When fetching products using StoreKit, the returned array is empty: productsCount = 0 products = [] Expected: Product metadata (price, description) should be returned. Actual: No products are returned at all. Additional info: Product identifier is correct Tested on real device (not simulator) Installed via TestFlight Sandbox account properly configured This issue is currently blocking validation of the subscription flow before release. Facing the same error
We were facing the same error yesterday and tried many different solutions, but none of them worked. However, today the issue resolved itself and everything is working properly now. The issue we were facing was: #1. not getting any product in didReceive method of storekit. #2. it was working sometimes (i.e. if we try 3 times then 1 time we were getting the product

Promotional offer purchase fails in Sandbox with ASDServerErrorDomain 3902 after payment sheet
Hello, I’m integrating promotional offers for auto-renewable subscriptions using StoreKit 2. The offer is displayed correctly, the Apple purchase sheet appears, and I can start the payment flow. The sheet shows the correct discounted price and the end date of the offer. However, after confirming the purchase, an alert appears saying “Unable to Purchase - Contact the developer for more information” When dismissing the alert, Xcode logs the following: Purchase did not return a transaction: Error Domain=ASDServerErrorDomain Code=3902 "No se ha podido realizar la compra" UserInfo={ NSLocalizedFailureReason=No se ha podido realizar la compra, client-environment-type=Sandbox, AMSServerErrorCode=3902, storefront-country-code=ESP } Test environment: App installed from Xcode on a real iPhone Logged in with a Sandbox Apple ID Using StoreKit 2 Promotional offer applied using: Product.PurchaseOption.promotionalOffer(_:compactJWS:) On the server side, I generate the promotional offer signature exactly as described in Apple’s documentation: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/generating-a-signature-for-promotional-offers The signature is generated using a Subscription Key Signed with ECDSA + SHA256 Uses the correct invisible separator (U+2063) The signature is validated locally using the derived public key and verifies correctly The sandbox user has had previous subscriptions, which is why this promotional offer is eligible and shown. Given that: The offer is displayed correctly The purchase sheet shows the discounted price and duration The signature validates locally The error occurs only after confirming the purchase My question is: Is this a known limitation or issue with promotional offers in the Sandbox environment? Should promotional offers be tested exclusively via TestFlight instead of Sandbox? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

RequestReviewAction never triggering rating dialog
Hello, We are having an issue with the RequestReview API and were hoping to get some help. We know that there is no guarantee that the in-app review modal will show and we know that there are 3 circumstances in which it will definitely not appear: if the user has turned off in-app review/ratings in their settings if the user has submitted a review for that app on that device within the last 365 days if the user has been asked for a review >3 times in the last 365 days When testing our implementation, every single one of our testers did not receive the rating modal despite the fact that we had all our testers turn on the app rating setting and that we have never asked for reviews from our app before. So that seems suspicious. While it is possible that something is up with our code (and I have provided some snippets below) we are also concerned that apple maybe is suppressing it for another reason. We really want to go live with our app review code but unfortunately we are not able to get confidence that it will ever appear for the user. Can you please help us understand why this isn't working. The code: We are using the SwiftUI approach to requesting review. Here are some relevant code snippets Important to note, we have a modal that appears when the user is in our list of active, targeted users. If they tap yes on this modal, it should show the in app rate the app system modal. If they tap no, we present them with an airship survey so that they can give feedback. We are thinking about implementing the button taking the user directly into the app store review but we'd prefer to do the lower-friction dialog in-app if we can get it work so the user doesn't get sent out of the app.

“Billing problem” after free trial subscription expiry in sandbox environment
Yesterday I noticed that if I purchase a free trial subscription in my app using a sandbox account, when the subscription expires I see a “Billing Problem” message every time I open the app. ”allow purchases & renewals“ setting is ON so this shouldn’t happen. has anyone else seen this or knows how to resolve? observed on iOS 18.3.2 & 16.7.10 thanks

Transaction.currentEntitlements returning empty response
Hi there 👋🏻 We are facing an issue that started on 24 June 2025 where some users that have an active subscription with an offer are not being able to use/restore their subscription since Transaction.currentEntitlements is empty. We have tried to call the server with this endpoint https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreserverapi/get-transaction-history and it's returning the correct transactions correctly. Any idea what is happening?

AppStore.sync() not restoring purchases
On an app that was using the old API for In-App Purchases (StoreKit 1). The app is already published on the App Store. The purchase is non-consumable. While trying to migrate to StoreKit 2, I'm unable to restore purchases. Specifically displaying and purchasing products works as expected, but when deleting and reinstalling the app, and then trying to restore purchases I can't do it. I'm trying to restore them using the new APIs but it doesn't seem to be working. What I have tried so far: I'm listening for transaction updates during the whole lifetime of the app, with: Task.detached { for await result in Transaction.updates { if case let .verified(safe) = result { } } } I have a button that calls this method, but other than prompting to log in again with the Apple ID it doesn't seem to have any effect at all: try? await AppStore.sync() This doesn't return any item for await result in Transaction.currentEntitlements { if case let .verified(transaction) = result { } } This doesn't return any item for await result in Transaction.all { if case let .verified(transaction) = result { } } As mentioned before I'm trying this after purchasing the item and deleting the app. So I'm sure it should be able to restore the purchase. Am trying this both with a Configuration.storekit file on the simulator, and without it on a real device, in the Sandbox Environment. Has anyone being able to restore purchases using StoreKit 2? PD: I already filed a feedback report on Feedback Assistant, but so far the only thing that they have replied is: Because StoreKit Testing in Xcode is a local environment, and the data is tied to the app, when you delete the app you're also deleting all the transaction data for that app in the Xcode environment. The code snippets provided are correct usage of the API. So yes, using a Configuration.storekit file won't work on restoring purchases, but if I can't restore them on the Sandbox Environment I'm afraid that this won't work once released, leaving my users totally unable to restore what they have already purchased.

Issue with "Transaction.currentEntitlements": Some paid users cannot use the features of our subscription plan
Some paid users are unable to use the paid features unlocked by purchasing our subscription plan. It seems that this is due to StoreKit 2's Transaction.currentEntitlements not working the way we would expect it to work. Are you also encountering this issue? Do you have any idea to improve this situation? At launch, our app checks if the user is subscribed to the plan, using Transaction.currentEntitlements. As a result, the currentEntitlements array was empty. Our app then fetches the products from StoreKit 2 using Product.products(for:). As a result, the Product.SubscriptionInfo.RenewalState value of the corresponding Product (product.subscription.status.first.state) is subscribed, which confirms that the user has indeed purchased our plan, but seems to contradict the absence of the corresponding transaction in Transaction.currentEntitlements. Proactive in-app purchase restore and a restore purchase button calling the AppStore.sync() method are implemented, but using the button did not solve the issue.

App Store StoreKit web hooks doesn't work o=in the Sandbox env.
Hey! We're implementing In-App Purchase Subscriptions and we were able to receive "App Store Server Notifications" on our "Sandbox Server URL". But the last event we received 22 hours ago. We are able to verify transactions and finish them, but receive no webhooks. We changed nothing on our server or its configurations but the notifications stoped to come. We consulted the API (https://api.storekit-sandbox.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/notifications/history) and it says the same as we see - the last event was 22hrs ago. I checked all the advices from here as well (https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/805806?answerId=864483022#864483022). Is there any Status page for the Store Kit Sandbox services? Clarification on Offer-Code Redemption When Streamlined Purchasing Is Turned Off
Background We sell a suite of iPadOS/macOS apps that share a single auto-renewable subscription using this architecture. Per “Offering a Subscription Across Multiple Apps” we require users to sign in before purchasing so we can propagate the entitlement and avoid duplicate subscriptions across apps. To enforce that sign-in step we plan to turn off Streamlined Purchasing in App Store Connect. Question We also want to distribute subscription offer codes (for promotion, retention, appeasing dissatisfied customers, etc.). After Streamlined Purchasing is turned off, will customers still be able to redeem offer codes outside the app (App Store “Redeem Code” UI or redemption URL)? If outside-app redemption remains possible, it bypasses our sign-in gate and could let the same customer buy the suite twice (once via each app). Is there an approved method to limit offer-code redemption to the in-app flow only, or otherwise prevent such duplicate subscriptions? If no such limitation exists, what best-practice workaround does Apple recommend for multi-app suites that must turn off Streamlined Purchasing yet still wish to use offer codes without duplication risk? Environment StoreKit 2; server-side receipt validation & cross-app entitlement propagation. Apps support the in-app presentCodeRedemptionSheet flow. We expect to use both one-time-use and custom offer codes.

DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW Notification with a null gracePeriodExpiresDate
We are seeking clarification on the behavior of App Store Server Notifications V2. Summary In our production environment, we received a notification with notificationType: DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW and subtype: GRACE_PERIOD. However, the gracePeriodExpiresDate field in the payload was null. We understand this notification indicates that a user's subscription has entered a grace period. The null value for its expiration date is unexpected, and we are looking for an official explanation of this behavior and the correct way to handle it. The Scenario Here are the details of the notification we received: Notification Type: DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW Notification Subtype: GRACE_PERIOD Environment: Production Upon decoding the signedRenewalInfo JWS from the responseBodyV2, we found that the gracePeriodExpiresDate field inside the JWSRenewalInfoDecodedPayload was null. The notificationUUID for this event was in the format xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx. Our Implementation and its Impact Our backend is designed to ensure service continuity during a grace period, as recommended in the documentation. Current Logic: Receive the DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW / GRACE_PERIOD notification. Extract the gracePeriodExpiresDate. Extend the user's subscription expiration date in our database to match this date. Because the gracePeriodExpiresDate was null in this case, our logic failed, creating a risk of service interruption for the user. Context and Investigation We have performed the following checks: App Store Connect Settings: We have confirmed that Billing Grace Period is enabled for the relevant subscription group. Sandbox Environment: We have been unable to reproduce this scenario in the Sandbox. User Context: We believe the user in this case was experiencing a failed payment when attempting to renew for the first time after a free trial period. Questions To ensure we handle this scenario correctly, we would appreciate clarification on the following points: Conditions for Null: Under what specific conditions does a DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW notification with a GRACE_PERIOD subtype contain a null gracePeriodExpiresDate? Expected Behavior: Is this null value an expected behavior for certain scenarios, such as the first failed renewal after a free trial? Best Practice: If this is an expected behavior, what is the correct way to handle it? How should our backend interpret a null gracePeriodExpiresDate to ensure service continuity for the user?

Cannot Cancel Sandbox Subscription
I did an in app purchase in my development app and now I cannot get rid of it. It is a "monthly" subscription that seems to renew every 1 day. I can see the subscription when I go to settings then tap on Subscriptions. Then I tap the item and choose "Cancel Subscription", revealing a new modal sheet saying "Confirm Cancellation". When I "Confirm", I get the popup: "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed, please try again later". However, this is anything BUT temporary, has gone on for a couple weeks now. As such, I am unable to test subscriptions in my development app. I've tried logging out, restarting, different devices, etc. The phone is logged in under my primary user account, and I may not have been logged into sandbox email when I did the purchase. Can someone forcibly remove it for me?

Unable to retrieve data from In App Purchase
I want to add in-app purchasing to my app, but I can't figure out what part of my workflow is wrong. I created a product for my app in iTunes Connect (the product ID is com.mycompany.products.***) and it's in "Ready to submit" status. I created a sandbox test user for this app. I connected to iTunes on a real device using the sandbox AppleID. I went back to XCode and added in-app purchasing to my app. I turned on developer mode on the real device and logged in as the sandbox user. I built the app and ran it on a real device (not the simulator). I tried to get product information (com.mycompany.products.***) but nothing was returned. In-app purchasing is registered in App Store Connect and the status is "Ready to submit". The code only retrieves product information in a simple way, so I don't think there's a problem. inAppPurchase.getProducts(["com.mycompany.products.***"]).then(console.log).catch(console.error); But it only returns an empty array. What could be wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.

Resending notifications from Apple
Regarding App Store Server Notifications V2,we are currently using Notifications V2 in a production environment. It is set up so that if the server receives the notification successfully, it returns 200 after about 30 seconds, and if an error occurs, it returns 400 or 500. However, the notification is being resent multiple times from Apple's server, at 1 hour, 12 hours, and 24 hours. Is it necessary to return the notification using Apple's API?

Migration Subscription API returns 500 error
We got Advanced Commerce API and the generic product identifiers approved. Production review failed because IAP products cannot be loaded
My app has a couple of consumable IAP items. I have tested this extensively and it works in all test scenarios including loads of beta testers using testflight. However, Apple's production reviewer reports that loading of the products hangs in their setup. This is very frustrating as I have no means of recreating the problem. My first product was tested ok an all my IAP items are approved for release. However, I did not explicitly assign them to my build. I read somewhere that you need to do that but could not find in App Store Connect after my first product was approved. Below is the relevant code section. [macOS] AppTransaction questions (internet connection requirement)
Hello, I hope to find out more about how AppTransaction works on macOS, specifically about its internet connection requirements: if I use this to validate that the app is a legit purchase from the Mac App Store, I would not want it to have an always-on requirement just to validate. Does AppTransaction require the user to always be online for AppTransaction.shared ? When an app is downloaded from the Mac App Store, is the data needed for AppTransaction automatically embedded during that download, or is that data downloaded upon first launch of the app, therefore requiring an internet connection at launch time? Once the data/receipt has been downloaded by AppTransaction, is it cached until the app's next update, or is it cleared at some time during the version's life and needs to be re-downloaded, therefore requiring an internet connection at launch? Where is that receipt/data stored? Also, if you don't mind me sneaking in this non-related but sort of related question, in terms of receipt validation: Does macOS Sequoia's MAC address rotation feature affect receipt validation in any way when using IOKit? In iOS 26 beta3 version, the finishTransaction method is unable to remove transactions from the SKPaymentQueue, causing transactions to remain in the queue even after being processed.
We have some users who have upgraded to iOS 26 beta3. Currently, we observe that when these users make in-app purchases, our code calls [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] finishTransaction:transaction]; method, and we clearly receive the successful removal callback in the delegate method - (void)paymentQueue:(SKPaymentQueue *)queue removedTransactions:(NSArray<SKPaymentTransaction *> *)transactions. However, when users click on products with the same productId again, the method - (void)paymentQueue:(SKPaymentQueue *)queue updatedTransactions:(NSArray *)transactions still returns information about previously removed transactions, preventing users from making further in-app purchases.

Advanced commerce API - dynamic subscriptions
Hello, We have been approved for the Advanced commerce API and we are trying to implement dynamically created subscriptions via the SubscriptionCreateRequest. We followed the Sending Advanced Commerce API requests from your app (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/sending-advanced-commerce-api-requests-from-your-app) documentation but we are not able to make it work correctly. Facing the same error
We were facing the same error yesterday and tried many different solutions, but none of them worked. However, today the issue resolved itself and everything is working properly now. The issue we were facing was: #1. not getting any product in didReceive method of storekit. #2. it was working sometimes (i.e. if we try 3 times then 1 time we were getting the product

IAP Product display incorrect currency price

Promotional offer purchase fails in Sandbox with ASDServerErrorDomain 3902 after payment sheet
Hello, I’m integrating promotional offers for auto-renewable subscriptions using StoreKit 2. The offer is displayed correctly, the Apple purchase sheet appears, and I can start the payment flow. The sheet shows the correct discounted price and the end date of the offer. However, after confirming the purchase, an alert appears saying “Unable to Purchase - Contact the developer for more information” When dismissing the alert, Xcode logs the following: Purchase did not return a transaction: Error Domain=ASDServerErrorDomain Code=3902 "No se ha podido realizar la compra" UserInfo={ NSLocalizedFailureReason=No se ha podido realizar la compra, client-environment-type=Sandbox, AMSServerErrorCode=3902, storefront-country-code=ESP } Test environment: App installed from Xcode on a real iPhone Logged in with a Sandbox Apple ID Using StoreKit 2 Promotional offer applied using: Product.PurchaseOption.promotionalOffer(_:compactJWS:) On the server side, I generate the promotional offer signature exactly as described in Apple’s documentation: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/generating-a-signature-for-promotional-offers The signature is generated using a Subscription Key Signed with ECDSA + SHA256 Uses the correct invisible separator (U+2063) The signature is validated locally using the derived public key and verifies correctly The sandbox user has had previous subscriptions, which is why this promotional offer is eligible and shown. Given that: The offer is displayed correctly The purchase sheet shows the discounted price and duration The signature validates locally The error occurs only after confirming the purchase My question is: Is this a known limitation or issue with promotional offers in the Sandbox environment? RequestReviewAction never triggering rating dialog
Hello, We are having an issue with the RequestReview API and were hoping to get some help. We know that there is no guarantee that the in-app review modal will show and we know that there are 3 circumstances in which it will definitely not appear: if the user has turned off in-app review/ratings in their settings if the user has submitted a review for that app on that device within the last 365 days if the user has been asked for a review >3 times in the last 365 days When testing our implementation, every single one of our testers did not receive the rating modal despite the fact that we had all our testers turn on the app rating setting and that we have never asked for reviews from our app before. So that seems suspicious. While it is possible that something is up with our code (and I have provided some snippets below) we are also concerned that apple maybe is suppressing it for another reason. We really want to go live with our app review code but unfortunately we are not able to get confidence that it will ever appear for the user. Can you please help us understand why this isn't working. The code: We are using the SwiftUI approach to requesting review. Here are some relevant code snippets Important to note, we have a modal that appears when the user is in our list of active, targeted users. If they tap yes on this modal, it should show the in app rate the app system modal. If they tap no, we present them with an airship survey so that they can give feedback. “Billing problem” after free trial subscription expiry in sandbox environment
Yesterday I noticed that if I purchase a free trial subscription in my app using a sandbox account, when the subscription expires I see a “Billing Problem” message every time I open the app. ”allow purchases &amp; renewals“ setting is ON so this shouldn’t happen. has anyone else seen this or knows how to resolve? observed on iOS 18.3.2 &amp; 16.7.10 thanks

Transaction.currentEntitlements returning empty response
Hi there 👋🏻 We are facing an issue that started on 24 June 2025 where some users that have an active subscription with an offer are not being able to use/restore their subscription since Transaction.currentEntitlements is empty. We have tried to call the server with this endpoint https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreserverapi/get-transaction-history and it's returning the correct transactions correctly. Any idea what is happening?

AppStore.sync() not restoring purchases
On an app that was using the old API for In-App Purchases (StoreKit 1). The app is already published on the App Store. The purchase is non-consumable. While trying to migrate to StoreKit 2, I'm unable to restore purchases. Specifically displaying and purchasing products works as expected, but when deleting and reinstalling the app, and then trying to restore purchases I can't do it. I'm trying to restore them using the new APIs but it doesn't seem to be working. What I have tried so far: I'm listening for transaction updates during the whole lifetime of the app, with: Task.detached { for await result in Transaction.updates { if case let .verified(safe) = result { } } } I have a button that calls this method, but other than prompting to log in again with the Apple ID it doesn't seem to have any effect at all: try? await AppStore.sync() This doesn't return any item for await result in Transaction.currentEntitlements { if case let .verified(transaction) = result { } } This doesn't return any item for await result in Transaction.all { if case let .verified(transaction) = result { } } As mentioned before I'm trying this after purchasing the item and deleting the app. So I'm sure it should be able to restore the purchase. Am trying this both with a Configuration.storekit file on the simulator, and without it on a real device, in the Sandbox Environment. Has anyone being able to restore purchases using StoreKit 2? PD: I already filed a feedback report on Feedback Assistant, but so far the only thing that they have replied is: Because StoreKit Testing in Xcode is a local environment, and the data is tied to the app, when you delete the app you're also deleting all the transaction data for that app in the Xcode environment. The code snippets provided are correct usage of the API. So yes, using a Configuration.storekit file won't work on restoring purchases, but if I can't restore them on the Sandbox Environment I'm afraid that this won't work once released, leaving my users totally unable to restore what they have already purchased.

Issue with "Transaction.currentEntitlements": Some paid users cannot use the features of our subscription plan
Some paid users are unable to use the paid features unlocked by purchasing our subscription plan. It seems that this is due to StoreKit 2's Transaction.currentEntitlements not working the way we would expect it to work. Are you also encountering this issue? Do you have any idea to improve this situation? At launch, our app checks if the user is subscribed to the plan, using Transaction.currentEntitlements. As a result, the currentEntitlements array was empty. Our app then fetches the products from StoreKit 2 using Product.products(for:). As a result, the Product.SubscriptionInfo.RenewalState value of the corresponding Product (product.subscription.status.first.state) is subscribed, which confirms that the user has indeed purchased our plan, but seems to contradict the absence of the corresponding transaction in Transaction.currentEntitlements. Proactive in-app purchase restore and a restore purchase button calling the AppStore.sync() method are implemented, but using the button did not solve the issue.

App Store StoreKit web hooks doesn't work o=in the Sandbox env.
Hey! We're implementing In-App Purchase Subscriptions and we were able to receive "App Store Server Notifications" on our "Sandbox Server URL". But the last event we received 22 hours ago. We are able to verify transactions and finish them, but receive no webhooks. We changed nothing on our server or its configurations but the notifications stoped to come. We consulted the API (https://api.storekit-sandbox.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/notifications/history) and it says the same as we see - the last event was 22hrs ago. I checked all the advices from here as well (https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/805806?answerId=864483022#864483022). Is there any Status page for the Store Kit Sandbox services? Clarification on Offer-Code Redemption When Streamlined Purchasing Is Turned Off
Background We sell a suite of iPadOS/macOS apps that share a single auto-renewable subscription using this architecture. Per “Offering a Subscription Across Multiple Apps” we require users to sign in before purchasing so we can propagate the entitlement and avoid duplicate subscriptions across apps. To enforce that sign-in step we plan to turn off Streamlined Purchasing in App Store Connect. Question We also want to distribute subscription offer codes (for promotion, retention, appeasing dissatisfied customers, etc.). After Streamlined Purchasing is turned off, will customers still be able to redeem offer codes outside the app (App Store “Redeem Code” UI or redemption URL)? If outside-app redemption remains possible, it bypasses our sign-in gate and could let the same customer buy the suite twice (once via each app). Is there an approved method to limit offer-code redemption to the in-app flow only, or otherwise prevent such duplicate subscriptions? If no such limitation exists, what best-practice workaround does Apple recommend for multi-app suites that must turn off Streamlined Purchasing yet still wish to use offer codes without duplication risk? Environment StoreKit 2; server-side receipt validation & cross-app entitlement propagation. Apps support the in-app presentCodeRedemptionSheet flow. We expect to use both one-time-use and custom offer codes.

DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW Notification with a null gracePeriodExpiresDate
We are seeking clarification on the behavior of App Store Server Notifications V2. Summary In our production environment, we received a notification with notificationType: DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW and subtype: GRACE_PERIOD. However, the gracePeriodExpiresDate field in the payload was null. We understand this notification indicates that a user's subscription has entered a grace period. The null value for its expiration date is unexpected, and we are looking for an official explanation of this behavior and the correct way to handle it. The Scenario Here are the details of the notification we received: Notification Type: DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW Notification Subtype: GRACE_PERIOD Environment: Production Upon decoding the signedRenewalInfo JWS from the responseBodyV2, we found that the gracePeriodExpiresDate field inside the JWSRenewalInfoDecodedPayload was null. The notificationUUID for this event was in the format xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx. Our Implementation and its Impact Our backend is designed to ensure service continuity during a grace period, as recommended in the documentation. Current Logic: Receive the DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW / GRACE_PERIOD notification. Extract the gracePeriodExpiresDate. Extend the user's subscription expiration date in our database to match this date. Because the gracePeriodExpiresDate was null in this case, our logic failed, creating a risk of service interruption for the user. Context and Investigation We have performed the following checks: App Store Connect Settings: We have confirmed that Billing Grace Period is enabled for the relevant subscription group. Sandbox Environment: We have been unable to reproduce this scenario in the Sandbox. User Context: We believe the user in this case was experiencing a failed payment when attempting to renew for the first time after a free trial period. Questions To ensure we handle this scenario correctly, we would appreciate clarification on the following points: Conditions for Null: Under what specific conditions does a DID_FAIL_TO_RENEW notification with a GRACE_PERIOD subtype contain a null gracePeriodExpiresDate? Expected Behavior: Is this null value an expected behavior for certain scenarios, such as the first failed renewal after a free trial? Best Practice: If this is an expected behavior, what is the correct way to handle it? How should our backend interpret a null gracePeriodExpiresDate to ensure service continuity for the user?

Cannot Cancel Sandbox Subscription
I did an in app purchase in my development app and now I cannot get rid of it. It is a "monthly" subscription that seems to renew every 1 day. I can see the subscription when I go to settings then tap on Subscriptions. Then I tap the item and choose "Cancel Subscription", revealing a new modal sheet saying "Confirm Cancellation". When I "Confirm", I get the popup: "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed, please try again later". However, this is anything BUT temporary, has gone on for a couple weeks now. As such, I am unable to test subscriptions in my development app. I've tried logging out, restarting, different devices, etc. The phone is logged in under my primary user account, and I may not have been logged into sandbox email when I did the purchase. Can someone forcibly remove it for me?

Unable to retrieve data from In App Purchase
I want to add in-app purchasing to my app, but I can't figure out what part of my workflow is wrong. I created a product for my app in iTunes Connect (the product ID is com.mycompany.products.***) and it's in "Ready to submit" status. I created a sandbox test user for this app. I connected to iTunes on a real device using the sandbox AppleID. I went back to XCode and added in-app purchasing to my app. I turned on developer mode on the real device and logged in as the sandbox user. I built the app and ran it on a real device (not the simulator). I tried to get product information (com.mycompany.products.***) but nothing was returned. In-app purchasing is registered in App Store Connect and the status is "Ready to submit". The code only retrieves product information in a simple way, so I don't think there's a problem. inAppPurchase.getProducts(["com.mycompany.products.***"]).then(console.log).catch(console.error); But it only returns an empty array. What could be wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.

Resending notifications from Apple
Regarding App Store Server Notifications V2,we are currently using Notifications V2 in a production environment. It is set up so that if the server receives the notification successfully, it returns 200 after about 30 seconds, and if an error occurs, it returns 400 or 500. However, the notification is being resent multiple times from Apple's server, at 1 hour, 12 hours, and 24 hours. Is it necessary to return the notification using Apple's API?

Production review failed because IAP products cannot be loaded
My app has a couple of consumable IAP items. I have tested this extensively and it works in all test scenarios including loads of beta testers using testflight. However, Apple's production reviewer reports that loading of the products hangs in their setup. This is very frustrating as I have no means of recreating the problem. My first product was tested ok an all my IAP items are approved for release. However, I did not explicitly assign them to my build. I read somewhere that you need to do that but could not find in App Store Connect after my first product was approved. Below is the relevant code section. [macOS] AppTransaction questions (internet connection requirement)
Hello, I hope to find out more about how AppTransaction works on macOS, specifically about its internet connection requirements: if I use this to validate that the app is a legit purchase from the Mac App Store, I would not want it to have an always-on requirement just to validate. Does AppTransaction require the user to always be online for AppTransaction.shared ? When an app is downloaded from the Mac App Store, is the data needed for AppTransaction automatically embedded during that download, or is that data downloaded upon first launch of the app, therefore requiring an internet connection at launch time? Once the data/receipt has been downloaded by AppTransaction, is it cached until the app's next update, or is it cleared at some time during the version's life and needs to be re-downloaded, therefore requiring an internet connection at launch? Where is that receipt/data stored? Also, if you don't mind me sneaking in this non-related but sort of related question, in terms of receipt validation: Does macOS Sequoia's MAC address rotation feature affect receipt validation in any way when using IOKit? In iOS 26 beta3 version, the finishTransaction method is unable to remove transactions from the SKPaymentQueue, causing transactions to remain in the queue even after being processed.
We have some users who have upgraded to iOS 26 beta3. Currently, we observe that when these users make in-app purchases, our code calls [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] finishTransaction:transaction]; method, and we clearly receive the successful removal callback in the delegate method - (void)paymentQueue:(SKPaymentQueue *)queue removedTransactions:(NSArray<SKPaymentTransaction *> *)transactions. However, when users click on products with the same productId again, the method - (void)paymentQueue:(SKPaymentQueue *)queue updatedTransactions:(NSArray *)transactions still returns information about previously removed transactions, preventing users from making further in-app purchases.

Advanced commerce API - dynamic subscriptions
Hello, We have been approved for the Advanced commerce API and we are trying to implement dynamically created subscriptions via the SubscriptionCreateRequest. We followed the Sending Advanced Commerce API requests from your app (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/sending-advanced-commerce-api-requests-from-your-app) documentation but we are not able to make it work correctly.
