How to re-enable entitlements after App Transfer? (Location Push Service Extension)
Hi Apple team and fellow developers, We previously had Location Push Service Extension enabled and working in production. After transferring the app to a new Apple Developer team, the production App ID was transferred, but the Location Push entitlement was not retained. We've also created a new App ID for development, and now need Location Push access enabled for both the transferred production ID and the new development ID. We’ve already submitted the Location Push Access form with all relevant details. Unfortunately, the App Transfer documentation didn’t make it clear that Location Push access would be lost, and now we’re blocked from making new builds — even for the existing production app. ❓ Questions: Is it possible to re-enable Location Push for a transferred App ID? What’s the expected timeline for entitlement approval? Can Apple staff confirm the request status or let us know if any further action is needed? Thanks in advance — this entitlement is critical for our app’s functionality and release pipeline. Best, Aidar

Apple CarPlay Notifications - Tap action handler
I am developing a CarPlay driving tasks app and is able to display push notifications on CarPlay. I am looking at a way to get a tap action handler for push notifications on CarPlay such that when a user taps the notification and by default the app opens, but I want to present a CPInformationTemplate with data corresponding to the tapped notification.

Clarification Needed on Apple Push Notification Service Server Certificate Update Requirements for Token-Based vs. Certificate-Based Authentication
Hello Apple Developer Team, Based on the mandate to update the APNs certificate by February 24, 2025 for certificate-based authentication, a question from the team has been brought up that maybe Apple or the community can help answer. Since our implementation uses token-based authentication, I’m seeking clarification on a couple of points: 1. Does the certificate update affect token-based connections at all? 2. What is the rationale behind updating certificates for certificate-based authentication, and are there any implications or benefits for developers using token-based authentication? Understanding these details will help us ensure our system remains compliant and optimally configured. Any guidance or further clarification you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Push Notifications
以下の問題が発生しています: 特定のデバイスでプッシュ通知が受信されません。 考えられる原因は何でしょうか? プッシュ通知は自社のサーバーから送信しており、APNs(Apple Push Notification service)からは正常な応答が返ってきています。 ユーザーはデバイスで通知が有効になっていることを確認しており、ネットワークの問題も報告されていません。 この問題は複数のユーザーに発生しています。

I don't understand apple store server to server notification
Hello, I'am trying to validate a new app from apple. I have configured sandbox url and production url for server to server apple store notification. I have created subscriptions product id, but there are no validated yet by apple. When I upload my app to testflight, I can't test sandbox notification cause the product id are not available, on local xcode with storekit file I got my product Id but I don't receive notification. So my question is how can I test there thing. I have to produce fake product id ? I'm lock its very complex process, I don't understand. I tried to send my app like that for verification but the team told me to use receipt, but its deprecated and notification webhook is better for me. What is the good order, validate my subscription product ID then test ? what is the good steps. Apple seems to don't want validate my subscription product ID I'm lock..

Discrepancy between App Store Server API `expiresDate` and iOS Settings subscription expiration date
I am developing an iOS app that uses App Store Server API (v2) for auto-renewable subscriptions. I noticed a discrepancy between the expiration date returned by the API and the date displayed in iPhone Settings > Subscriptions: App Store Server API expiresDate: 2025-09-12T12:10:25 (KST) iOS Settings > Subscriptions: 2025-09-11 (one day earlier) My understanding: The API’s expiresDate is the precise UTC timestamp. The Settings UI might display the "last full calendar day" for UX purposes. Questions: Is this behavior (UI showing one day earlier) an intentional Apple policy? If so, is there any official documentation or guideline explaining this behavior? Should developers always rely on the API’s expiresDate for subscription state management? This discrepancy is confusing for both developers and end users, so any clarification or official reference would be greatly appreciated.

Certification Authority (CA) for Apple Push Notification service (APNs)
I got a notification that the Certification Authority (CA) for Apple Push Notification service (APNs) is changing. Does this affect the push service for Apple Wallet passes or just for apps? I have a push service for Apple Wallet passes but no service for apps. I don't use push notification service for anything other than for Apple Wallet Pass push notifications, not at all for apps. Is there anything I need to do or is this not relevant to my situation? If it does, what do I need to change in order to make sure my service still works? Do I just replace the certificate? Is there a standard path where it would live on the server? I'm sure this is a simple thing, but it's been over a decade since I wrote the push service so I'm pretty rusty.

watchOS Standalone App Notification Settings Not Appearing
I'm having an issue on my standalone watchOS app where the settings to adjust notifications does not appear anywhere on the iPhone or the Watch. I have successfully requested notifications access from the user and have successfully displayed a local notification to them. However, if the user ever decides to revoke my notification access (or if they deny originally and want to change), the settings pane for notifications does not appear anywhere. I've looked in the following places: On the watch in Settings > Notifications, however it looks like you can no longer edit per app notification settings directly on the watch (none of the installed apps on my watch appear in here). The only options are settings like "tap to show full notification" and "announce notifications" which affect all notifications (Why not? Especially for apps that don't have a iPhone companion app?). On the iPhone in the Watch app (the app you set up your watch in), in Watch > Notification. My app does not appear anywhere in there. On the iPhone in the iPhone Settings app, in Settings > Notifications. My app does not appear anywhere in there. On the iPhone in the iPhone Settings app, in Settings > Apps. My app does not appear anywhere in there I've tried: Adding capabilities in Signing & Capabilities for Push Notification, Time-Sensitive Notifications and Communication Notifications Building the app for release instead of debug My app also requires location access and has successfully appeared in the settings pane directly on the watch in Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, however notification settings do not appear anywhere. I have created a stripped down test app to try and that also does not work. This test code successfully asks the user for permission and (from a button in ContentView), successfully schedules a notification and displays it to the user when they're not in the app. Here's the code for my NotificationManager: import UserNotifications class NotificationManager: NSObject, ObservableObject, UNUserNotificationCenterDelegate { static let shared = NotificationManager() @Published var hasAuthorisation = false private override init() { super.init() UNUserNotificationCenter.current().delegate = self requestAuthorisation() } func requestAuthorisation() { UNUserNotificationCenter.current().requestAuthorization(options: [.alert, .sound]) { authorised, error in DispatchQueue.main.async { if let error = error { print("Error requesting notifications: \(error.localizedDescription)") } self.hasAuthorisation = authorised } } } func scheduleNotification(title: String, body: String, timeInterval: TimeInterval) { let content = UNMutableNotificationContent() content.title = title content.body = body content.sound = .default let trigger = UNTimeIntervalNotificationTrigger(timeInterval: timeInterval, repeats: false) let request = UNNotificationRequest(identifier: UUID().uuidString, content: content, trigger: trigger) UNUserNotificationCenter.current().add(request) { error in if let error = error { print("Error scheduling notification: \(error.localizedDescription)") } else { print("Notification scheduled successfully.") } } } } This issue has persisted across two iPhones (recently upgraded) and the watch was wiped when connecting to the new iPhone. Am I missing some code? Am I missing some flag I need to set in my project somewhere? Please can someone with an Apple Watch try this code in a standalone watchOS app and see if the notifications pane appears anywhere for them? I've contacted Apple DTS, but they're taking a while to respond.

Expected behavior for a Notification Service Extension with notification filtering when requestAuthorization has not been requested
If there is a Notification Service Extension which has the com.apple.developer.usernotifications.filtering entitlement, then does/how having that entitlement affect the preconditions for the NSE to be delivered a push? Specifically, if the app has not prompted for requestAuthorization() is it expected that the push will be delivered to the NSE or not? Thank you

Live Activity don't show properly in Apple Watch
I'm facing an issue with Live Activity on the Apple Watch. I followed all the configurations outlined in Apple's official documentation, but during testing, I noticed inconsistent behavior. Some devices can display the Live Activity on the Apple Watch without any issues, while others can only see it on the iPhone, even though they are running the same system version. I've already checked the permissions, and everything is set up correctly, but I still haven't found what might be causing this difference. Has anyone experienced something similar or has any debugging suggestions?

Questions for AlarmKit
We are so interested in AlarmKit which is presented at WWDC25. While we planning our app using AlarmKit, We had a few questions come to mind and were hoping you could provide some clarity. Please excuse the rather long list of questions, as we don't currently have a device available to test these features ourselves. System Actions Related Is there a limit to the number of alarms that can be scheduled using AlarmKit? Are alarms scheduled with AlarmKit persistent across device reboots? When an alarm is dismissed (either by swiping or pressing the power button), can our app detect this action and execute code in response? Can we control the behavior of the physical Lock Screen buttons when an AlarmKit alarm is active, for instance, to trigger a snooze action? Does AlarmKit function correctly during Do Not Disturb or Low Power Mode? What is the expected behavior when an alarm from our app (using AlarmKit) overlaps with an alarm from another app that also uses AlarmKit? Which one is going to get its priority? Thank you for your help. Sincerely

APNS push working on iphone XR but not on iphone 13
Hello , We are trying MDM APNs push using following command curl.exe -X POST --http2 -k -v --cert PushCert.pem --cacert cacert.pem https://api.push.apple.com/3/device/9BFDFB46D48159D16E5DC80391B765EE99524CF294BB4BF9FB5AEA7A5F3FFD79 -d "{"mdm":"84F0C145-5963-4F06-9D11-DFBDB45802D5"}" -H "apns-topic: com.apple.mgmt.External.c217c1bf-ad51-42a9-9108-2e92ef705b2a" -H "apns-push-type: mdm" The command process correctly there is no error but device doesn't receive the Apns push. At the same time the older device recives the Apns push but newer device not. What can be the cause, how to debug this issue.

How can notification action buttons' text be center aligned?
The iOS documentation shows notification actions buttons with the text center aligned: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/usernotifications/declaring-your-actionable-notification-types But there's no apparent way for an app to control this. The buttons are controlled and rendered by the system and the text is always left aligned. Is there some way to get the text center aligned?

Notification Service Extension Not Triggering for Push Notifications on iOS
I have integrated a Notification Service Extension in my app to handle rich push notifications with images. The issue occurs on iOS 15 and iOS 18 devices—while the text content of the notification shows, the image is not displayed. However, the rich push notification works fine on other iOS versions (e.g. iOS 16, iOS 17) I’ve tried the following steps: Verified App Groups are the same for both the main app and the extension. Checked the "mutable-content" flag in the notification payload. Added a print statement in the NotificationService.swift to check if it’s running. It doesn’t appear in the Xcode logs. I’ve tried using Attach to Process in Xcode, but nothing happens. The app is installed on a real device, and I’m testing with push notifications when the app is in the background.

[App Store Server Notifications] ONE_TIME_CHARGE production release...
Dear Apple! During WWDC24 you announced that ONE_TIME_CHARGE notification is available on the sandbox environment and will be available "it will be available in production later this year" - it's March 2025 and there is still no production release of this feature. Could you share some timeline and plans for when we can expect that feature deployed to production? Thanks in advance!
