Is anyone else experiencing unusually long App Review times?

My app has been in review for about a month now with no progress. After waiting for so long, I cancelled and resubmitted it twice, hoping it might help, but the situation remains exactly the same.

I've also contacted App Review and submitted a request for an update, but I haven't received any response yet.

At this point, I'm wondering if anyone else has gone through something similar recently. How long did it take to get resolved, and is there anything else I can do besides continuing to wait?

App Review times are generally longer than usual but 4 weeks sounds exceptionally long.

Have you contacted developer support by phone to ask if there’s anything specific holding up your App Review?

Yes, I've already tried everything I could think of. I've contacted App Review through support requests, sent emails, and even called Developer Support, but I still haven't received any update. That's why I'm curious whether anyone else has recently experienced review times this long and how their situation was eventually resolved.

4+ weeks is definitely unusual.

What does the app do? Is this your first submission or an update?

Does it offer something meaningfully different from other apps in the category?

Also, does it involve subscriptions, payments, identity verification, health data, special entitlements, or anything else that might require a more specialized review?

This isn't my first submission. The app is already live on the App Store, and the live streaming feature was already approved and released. I'm only submitting an update to the existing app.

That's why the delay is so surprising. It's been over a month now, and despite contacting App Review and Developer Support multiple times, I still haven't received any update on what's causing the hold-up.

I'm mostly wondering if anyone else has experienced a review taking this long for an app update and what eventually happened in their case.
