Hi there, Is there a possibility my app is permanently in "Waiting for Review" and isn't in a queue for review? I have reached out a couple of times to both appstore and developer support and get a boilerplate response. I'm advised to be patient - but 24 days seems extreme does it not? my ref is 102871294260 Not sure what to do and am concerned that my submission is lost somehow in the process. Thank you for investigating. I haven't had any contact to provide further assistance. it's now been a month since submission. Is this what other developers are experiencing?
Update - it's now been 65 days. several requests, and no service. Such a disappointing experience from Apple so far. I built this app to help my child learn the violin, it helped him - I then wanted to release it for others to use. i'm unemployed, so if it happens to earn me a coffee every now and again that would have been wonderful as well. Really curious if anyone else is having 60+ days of waiting for review or is it just me???
Unfortunately, yes. I have had experiences ranging from 1 day to 30+ days with no rhyme or reason. It appears like Apple prioritizes apps that are either well established or developers with long history. Either that or their queuing system has a massive flaw which they refuse to acknowledge or fix it. I gave a boost to your post which hopefully helps.
Has any one else been given the advice to Reject and resubmit? Seems a little wacky, but...it is sad. And I'm not an uber developer; I'm actually 67 and have a very sincere mission about my apps and yes, I built them myself. First one was reviewed in under 24 hours. Maybe I should appeal to the AARP.
