Dear Developer, Is there a way to create a function to search with inside a text without having to be outside all of the messages? In other words, could I go into one of my contact’s texts and then search specifically inside that message as can be done on Android? This would be such an amazing function And make life so much easier. Thank you.

Hi,
I was trying to use macOS-Sequoia-Production-Templates in Sketch format and when I try to export png icon file of the document template, it always includes grey nontransparent background which I am unable to delete. In contrast, exporting png app icon file from another template has transparent background and exports well.
Is it something wrong with the document icon production template? How can I export document png icon file with transparent background??
Thanks
We all know that the feature “Always On Display” is available only on pro models.
I checked in iPhone 14 Plus, that feature became visible in “Search” menu under “Settings”. If a user types “Displa”, then the search results show “Always On Display” as a result.
When I click on that, it navigates inside “Display and Brightness” and we found no toggle for “Always On Display”.
So, displaying the same on search result is a big bug which needs immediate attention from Apple. Users are getting confused whether iPhone 14 plus has that feature or not..
**Possible reason: **
I believe Apple releases iPhone OS versions in a single release each time and must be applying any kind of feature flagging to enable / disable a feature in a version or for a model. The feature flagging might not be working with Settings menu’s Search service or the code is not properly modular.
I'm developing an iPadOS 18+ application that uses a UITabBarController, styled as a sidebar, to serve as the primary navigation interface. This setup includes 20 different tabs, each representing a distinct section of the app.
For the user experience, each tab needs to present a master-detail interface, implemented using a UISplitViewController. The goal is to allow users to navigate between tabs via the sidebar, and within each tab, access related content through the split view's list-detail pattern.
The Problem:
Currently, my implementation involves instantiating a separate UISplitViewController for each tab, resulting in 20 unique split view instances embedded inside the UITabBarController. While this works functionally, it leads to significant memory usage, especially after the user opens each tab at least once. The accumulation of all these instantiated view controllers in memory eventually causes performance degradation or even memory warnings/crashes on lower-end iPads.
The Question:
What is the best approach to implement this type of architecture without running into memory management issues?
Specifically:
Is there a way to reuse or lazily load the UISplitViewController instances only when needed?
Can we unload or release split view controllers that haven't been used for a while to reduce memory pressure?
Would a custom container controller be more appropriate than using UITabBarController in this case?
Are there iPadOS 18+ best practices or newer APIs that support this kind of complex multi-tab, multi-split-view structure efficiently?
Any advice on how to optimize memory usage while preserving the sidebar navigation and split view layout would be highly appreciated.
We are working on one of the projects for Hackathon for which we need to access the 3D Models of Apple Watch, it will help in making our project more realistic and effective, I wanted to know if we can get access for the same.

Hello All,
I used to own an app named LOLIIPOP, and am in the process of transferring it to my new apple account.
I am having two problems....
How do I transfer the source code and binary to my new apple account?
My developers have an old code, so I need to send them the LAST code they uploaded to the App Store.
How do I do that as well???
Please any help!!!
Thanks,
Mr. LM
Hi,
Normally we need many shades of gray in any App and Apple system have only 3 , Primery, Secondary, and Gray, so to make Gray regress that automatically adapt to Dark Mode we just use opacity on these colors ? there's no system built in Gray degrees ?
Kind Regards
I accedently removed my info.plist can someone help me make one based on this image
I'm looking for a way to display a notification badge without showing a number—essentially, just an empty badge to indicate the presence of notifications. From my research, it seems like this functionality isn't available . Is there any workaround or method to achieve this?
I previously written here, and some advices were to appeal to rejection sending them message describing uniqueness of the app. Nothing is working.
In short, i have a vpn app (of course by design shares some concept with other apps that are in the app store). But since the rejection i have completely changed the ui, added built in browser, p2p messenger so users could interact with each other without any interference. The app is completely free with no ads. I thought this is it, there's no way it would reject this time, but... i get a notification with rejection repeating the same old message. I'm extremely frustrated and don't know what to do.
Tried changing the logo of the app, the name to "Incognito - Messenger, VPN", app store screenshots.
I've already appealed with screenshots describing unique features that other vpn apps don't have, but the message just repeats from app review team.

Does anybody have an advice what i can do?
With iOS 26 the CPListSection header has a transparent background, and when the list scrolls under the header it doesn't look good at all. We expected to see a glass fading effect maybe, like the one on the top of the screen. Is it a known bug?
Hello everyone,
In the current iOS version, changes in the "liquid glass" light shining effects can repeatedly be observed on older iPhone devices (12/13/14).
This change is often seen after the device is rebooted or after a SystemMemoryReset.ips (System Analysis Data).
It changes very often...
I'm not currently working on apps myself, but perhaps someone has ideas for the upcoming updates involving Liquid Glass.
(please also check the screenshots)
I am working on a Mac App that was developed with Objective C and Interface Builder. In earlier versions of Mac OS the window title was centered. Now in Tahoe it's left-justified. Is there some way to set this? There is no setting for this in Interface Builder and I can't see any way to do it programmatically by reading the developer documentation. Is this even possible?
While doing production release of app, I was not able to see phase release option like in my previous releases. Due To whihc when I released. the app , it got released to 100% users. I want to know why phase release option was not showing up in my dashboard
Development environment:
Simulator: iOS 26 beta 3 iPhone 16 (for testing)
Simulator 2: iPadOS 26 beta 3 iPad Air 13 inch (M3) (for testing)
Connected Device: iPadOS 26 beta 3 iPad Pro 11 inch (M4) (for testing)
Dev Device: macOS Tahoe 26 beta 3 Macbook Air
When using the NavigationSplitView element, the sidebar has a built-in panel toggle button.
However, when I click the toggle button to toggle the sidebar section in SwiftUI 26 on both simulator 2 and the connected device, it has a slight animation glitch before going back to normal. What's going on?
This is my code for the specific view that has the NavigationSplitView (and all views are connected through TabViews):

Hello Apple Engineering Team and Fellow Developers,
I’ve been using iOS 26 beta from day one and closely following all its improvements. One feature that significantly enhances the user experience is the automatic hiding of the Home Bar (the bottom navigation indicator) after a few seconds of inactivity in menus and apps.
This subtle but powerful UI behavior not only increases immersion but also reduces distractions, making navigation smoother and visually cleaner.
I strongly urge the Apple team to integrate this feature into the upcoming iOS 18.6 update. Bringing this polished interaction to iOS 18 users would greatly improve usability and keep the interface modern and elegant.
Thank you for your continuous efforts in refining iOS.
Looking forward to seeing this improvement officially adopted soon!
Best regards,

Is there any way to lock the clock in Standby so it doesn't change? It is so frustrating when I put the phone on the charger and have to scroll back and forth, trying to find the clock I would like to use all the time.
So…I am hitting a wall here and could use some guidance towards best practice.
I’ve developed an app in Xcode/SwiftUI that renders just fine on the iPhone - text, images, buttons, frames…everything is nicely centered on the screen or scrolls where and when I want.
The iPad though…not so much. I’m having issues with tops and bottoms being cut off in scrollviews. These are just straight up text screens too - the ones with other elements/controls…they’re rendering fine.
I’ve tried a mix of geometry, vstack, scrollview, padding, spacers…the lot of it. Nothing I seem to do works - the views do not want to fill and fit properly.
And, of course, the issue becomes worse the moment you flip the iPad into landscape view. Or use the 13” models.
I’d imagine others are battling these issues as well and found solutions, so I decided to hit up the brain trust.
