It was mentioned in the Swift Student Challenge that outstanding winners will have the opportunity to visit Apple Park in the United States. However, as a challenger from China who is not currently in the U.S., this means that if I receive the outstanding award, I will need to apply for a visa to travel to Apple Park. Since I am under 18, my guardian would also need to apply for a visa. Therefore, I would like to know if Apple provides visa assistance for outstanding winners and their guardians from China, or if we are responsible for applying for the visas on our own.

I was developing my app on Xcode and I saw in requirements it says “your submission must be an app playground (.swiftpm) I reckon I can develop in Xcode and then copy those files in playgrounds app, make some changes, for it to work. also I made my project in landscape mode in Xcode, in playgrounds can I lock display orientation through package.swift file or I should continue making me app in landscape mode and ask players to change their viewing orientation via a popup?

I am attempting to use the AVSpeechSynthesizer to include text to speech in my Swift Playgrounds project, but when I attempt to use it on my IPhone i get the following errors: It works just fine on the simulator, but no audio is produced when I run it on-device. Is there a way to set this "bundle display name" within Swift Playgrounds, or are there any workarounds? Basically, I always charge my phone at night to my limit 85%, but when I installed the iOS 18.3 beta 3, my iPhone charged to 100% at night when I was having always limit to 85%, my phone was overheated too. Did that only happened to me? Because I even checked and it’s on 85% limit.

Since iOS 26.1 I'm running into the following iCloud issues. Contacts are not being synced to iOS and iPad OS at all, no matter how I re-enable contact syncing I can't get them to sync. Our goal is to enable secure and seamless money transfers between two devices using NFC. Business Requirement: The application will provide a feature where users can initiate money transfers via NFC. The sender starts an NFC payment session from their device. Simultaneously, the receiver starts an NFC session to accept the payment. The sender's device should be able to detect the receiver’s NFC tag and process the transaction securely. We would like to confirm whether iOS supports such a use case. Your guidance on the feasibility of this feature, along with any technical or policy-related considerations, would be highly valuable. Looking forward to your response.

I installed the iOS 18.4 developer beta on my iPhone 12 last night, and it ended up sending my phone into a boot loop—at least that's what it looks like. Phone alternates between totally black screen and the Apple logo screen every 5 seconds or so. The phone isn't responding to force restart, isn't showing up in Finder to try to factory reset, etc. My guess is the update was corrupted in some way? Did this happen to anyone else? Any ideas about what's going on?

If I want to display my corporations digital position would it be considered legal to use an iPhone SIM card reader as it seems to have a “data” point that hints at the idea of stabilization of intelligence that be found both off line and online. In our iOS app we have added example.com in associated domains from the very beginning With no AASA file hosted at example.com domain Now we need a subdomain app.example.com to be intercepted in our app, so for the same, we are thinking to host AASA at app.example.com and add app.example.com in associated domains too. so my question is will hosting AASA at sub domain works? If yes, will it affect older apps where app.example.com is not handled. In short we only want the links with app.example.com to be open in our app not the example.com links

Anyone else's phone die after installed iOS 26 beta? I'm not happy at all. shows that my phone is charging but will not turn on. have tried hard resetting it 50+ times, 5 different chargers.. nothing.

That time of year again. I’ve tried multiple restarts, and it still won’t load. I’m not sure if/how to remove the beta profile at this point (that seems to have worked for previous betas), given that the beta settings are hidden.

Beta two keeps hanging during the download process and says connect to wifi (which I am) or after hours it may download the beta 1.4gb file only to have to freeze in next processing step. I have tried all the resets, reinstalling both the watch and the phone running OS26.1 Beta 2 etc. The impact is the watch and the current software implementation is only getting a couple hours of battery usages before going dead

Hello, I'm experiencing issues with multiple apps on macOS related to network-related tasks. FIrst, I had problems with the network filter on Avast security. It told me to allow net work filtering, so I pressed the popup button that said allow filtering, but did nothing and gave me a error. Later on, on Nord VPN didnt work aswell, when I had to grant permission to configure a VPN. It didn't even give me a description of the error, just said something went wrong. I contacted NordVPN support, which didnt do anything exept for telling me to uninstall avast and restart my mac, which I did but was useless. Please help me.

I recently updated to tvOS 26 on my Apple TV 4K (1st generation) and was disappointed to find that apps I restrict no longer appear at all. In earlier versions, restricted apps would still be visible and simply prompt for a passcode — this was much more convenient for adults in the household. Now, if I restrict apps for my children, they disappear completely. To use them again, I have to go deep into settings, turn restrictions off, and even recreate the passcode each time, which is frustrating and impractical for daily use. I also tried adding a Kids user account, but most restrictions still apply system-wide. Only the Apple TV app behaves differently between users. This makes switching between parent and child accounts nearly pointless for managing access. Please consider one or both of the following: 1. Bring back the passcode-on-launch behavior for restricted apps (instead of hiding them). 2. Give each user their own isolated settings environment, like how profiles work on iOS/iPadOS or even a fresh Apple TV—this way, restrictions, home screen, and app access could be personalized. Families are a huge part of the Apple TV audience, and these recent changes have made it much harder to use the device in a shared household. Thank you!

Hello, I am building a workout app that has an option to add segments to differentiate different stages of the training session. The workout is .paddleSports. I thought that maybe the workout type was the problem, but when I start the sessions from the native workout app, segments are added and shown in the Fitness app: In other posts I saw suggested to add an event as .marker instead of .segment, but the result is the same, it does not appear. Is there something I am doing wrong? How can I show the segments into the Fitness app? Another question, I would like to add stroke rate and stroke count to my paddling session, is there a way to add it? Paddle Sports workout was recently introduced and it would be great to have the option to add those values. Thank you in advance. Inaki
