Background: I'm from Kenya and I use Mpesa all the time far more than bank cards. I use it to pay for stuff. One way that works is I input my phone number in the online checkout form and it should initiate what they call STK push on my phone with the line inside. I should input my Mpesa pin to authorize the payment. That works well on my Android and the basic "button" phone. In the iphone, I get issues. Issue: I was checking out at a supermarket, and on the line I should get a prompt and input the pin and that is it. I get the prompt, input the pin. The POS should update in a second or two and I should get a confirmation message. Nothing happens. Looking at the network bar, I realize the network bar is gone for one SIM. I don't know which. Airplane mode on off and try again the checkout. After inputing the pin, nothing happens. Then someone hints that iphones don't work with STK push. I had to go out, withdraw from an agent so I could pay for my stuff. 30 minutes wasted. Today I'm eating at a restaurant that has the same mpesa check-out. Same issue. I had to send money normally to an employee, who offers to go get cash for me at a fee since the nearest mpesa agent or ATM was kilometers away. Time and money wasted. Now this evening I'm chilling somewhere and there is an internet hotspot where you pay with mpesa and use internet with hourly rates. Tried to pay. Nothing happens after sending the pin. Well, something happens - there is a network outage on one SIM - network bars greyed out. I have to airplane on and off or wait a few minutes for it to come back on again. Trying to pay for Spotify premium, same issue. Tried asking people with iphones and it seems to be a common issue. It works sometimes, most times not. At first I thought it is because I'm using beta version of iOS. Pretty much everyone with iphone is complaining. In fact iPhone people are walking around with a backup 'mpesa' phone because of this issue. I haven't seen an answer in the discussions. Maybe people in the rest of the world haven't experienced this because this kind of payment is not very popular elsewhere. I would like to know if this is a bug or is it some settings we missed to make it work. Thank you.

hello all, I am wondering is anyone else having trouble with the bottom half of the 12 inch display screen (vertical) with apple CarPlay? it is unresponsive. when I touch the bottom half, nothing happens. i am not able to change any setting because it requires you to touch the bottom half of the display.

As developers of an app with a free basic version and a paid premium version, we recently received a malicious review on our premium app. The review falsely accused our app of being a scam and baselessly claimed it was error-ridden. This comment is clearly malicious and designed to dissuade other users from purchasing our app. The most critical point is that we haven’t had any sales records in that region recently. In response to this review, we promptly contacted Apple Support but received only a generic, templated response stating that no action would be taken. We followed up with another complaint about the review, but it was still dismissed. Apple Support provided a link to their guidelines, and within those guidelines, we found specific clauses that Apple should act upon in cases like this. We sent another email pointing this out, but we’ve received no response since. It feels like developers are left defenseless against such malicious reviews. When we face these attacks, there’s no fair judgment, and Apple doesn’t uphold the very policies it has set to protect developers’ rights. If this continues, how can developers trust this platform to safeguard their basic interests?

Today I updated to iOS 26 and after changing to clear mode nothing happens, the icons remain a solid color, everything remains a solid color, nothing is transparent.

Hi, Having a weird issue that I’m noticing on Apple TVs with some apps that are by the same company. I think it’s storing residual user data if if you delete the app and all other apps relating to this. I have even tried deleting every app and reinstalling but we found two apps to be still logged in. Seams like a sandboxing bug and I presume it’s to do with App data stored in the shared app groups. I can only reset the apple tv to remove the user data. The two apps we can see are being persistent is Binge and Kayo by streamotion. We have tried problem solving this in every way imaginable but it’s Interesting that this is allowed to happen on an Apple platform. There is no active user logged into the apple TV with an Apple ID either

Hello, I'm experiencing issues with multiple apps on macOS related to network-related tasks. FIrst, I had problems with the network filter on Avast security. It told me to allow net work filtering, so I pressed the popup button that said allow filtering, but did nothing and gave me a error. Later on, on Nord VPN didnt work aswell, when I had to grant permission to configure a VPN. It didn't even give me a description of the error, just said something went wrong. I contacted NordVPN support, which didnt do anything exept for telling me to uninstall avast and restart my mac, which I did but was useless. Please help me.

Since updating to iOS 26, audio recordings made through apps like Snapchat and Instagram sound broken, saccaded and choppy. The issue happens with or without headphones. It feels like the microphone is either misused or filtered too aggressively by the app, leading to a stuttering or “cut-off” effect during speech. This doesn’t happen when recording audio in the Voice Memos app or the Camera app — only in social media apps.

Installed update on Monday night and since then keep losing Network connection despite resettting Network connections and iphone. Comes back for a short time after rsetting then is lost with nothing showing under Mobile Service.

Through IOS 26 public beta 5, the “use as ringtone” option will freeze the Music app, which must be closed and restarted. Is this capability supposed to apply to songs in Apple Music or only for MP3 WMA music files in the files app? If it is only applicable to music files and not Apple Music, then it should not appear as an option in the share menu of an apple song. I have a 15 pro.

Hello all. I am currently developing a database app of particular products for people who collect this item. Let's say model airplanes. People can look at their list of model airplanes and also see a collection of airplanes by model companies. I want to offer a link from a product in my app to a local retailer's website who sells this product on their website. Not just their base site, but directly to the products page. Meaning each product in my database will have a unique link to an external product page. This could also include links to Ebay or Amazon if local retailer doesn't sell the product. Is this sort of feature allowed inside App Store Apps as technically it's not an in-app purchase? I do see some vague answers around but none that target this specific circumstance. Hello, I installed iOS 26 beta 1 yesterday when it came off but now, when I plug my iPhone, it just do nothing. I can charge it via the induction charger but I can't via USB-C port. The other way I can charge it is by turning my iPhone off and plugging it so it starts and then it charges via USB-C Port even when it starts. The thing is that when I unplug the cable and try to plug it back in, it doesn't charge anymore... I tried to put the restore mode (with the Mac and the cable on the screen) and even the DFU Mode but the iPhone is not detected by my Macbook and it's the same thing for my Windows PC : not detected... I also tried to erase the settings and content but same issue... Not charging Apple Store can do nothing because it's a dev beta... Am I the only one to have that issue ?

I 'upgraded' to Tahoe 26.0 public beta & since then my contacts will not synch to the iCloud. All other synching functions (eg. calendar, reminders messages, notes etc.) are fine. Have tried a bunch of different ways to restore this, but so far I haven't been successful. Anyone else have this issue & better still, were able to fix it? Or do I simply need to be patient & wait for the next public beta release?

It works if Bluetooth is on for a long time, is there any problem? I'm developing an app using beacon and Bluetooth, and I have to operate the app in the background, and after spending the weekend, I have to detect the beacon and revive the app. I can see that there is an app in the background, but the app is not coming back to life. How can I solve this problem? Or is the OS team working on something to block it? The test model is Iphone16Plus.

Hello everyone, I’m having an issue with the Photos app on my iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 26 Beta 2 (happened in first Beta as well). When I open the Photos app and go to the Collections section, it’s completely blank — no photos, just empty space. The library seems to be working fine and my photos show up in the Library. I’ve tried restarting the phone and force-quitting the app, but no change. Could it be a bug? Also, I just switched from Android to IOS, one week ago, if this detail helps. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any fixes or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I have a question regarding the ethernet-over-USB-C stack within iOS/iPadOS. It seems that when manually assigning an IP on this interface within iOS, the IP is stored. Therefore, when disconnecting (the USB-C cable) and reconnecting to another device for a subsequent ethernet connection, the iOS device will always default to the previously assigned IP address (obviously, this isn't the case if the other end is a DHCP server). So, within the iPhone's Ethernet-over-USB-C driver, I was curious if iOS just keeps the assignment based on the MAC of the local USB-C interface, or is stored information tied to some other identifier? Is there a way to override this behavior? Thank you
