Hi,team:
I need to distribute an mdm configuration file containing the "ServiceManagementManagedLoginItems" service to a large number of company-supervised computers, where com.apple.servicemanagement only supports macOS 13.0+. However, I cannot effectively distinguish whether the device system where the mdm configuration file needs to be installed is greater than 13. Can I directly install the mdm configuration file on all devices? Will installing the mdm configuration file on devices less than 13 have any impact on the system or other configuration items in mdm? The description link of ServiceManagementManagedLoginItems is: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/servicemanagementmanagedloginitems

Hello,
We are currently deploying Apple devices in our organization using Apple Business Manager (ABM) and are looking for a long-term self-hosted MDM solution.
We initially considered MicroMDM, but since official support will end in December 2025, we are evaluating NanoMDM.
I would like to confirm:
Is NanoMDM a stable and production-ready option for long-term use with Apple Business Manager and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE)?
Does NanoMDM support all essential features like:
Supervision
Remote wipe
App deployment
Configuration profiles
Are there any limitations or known issues with using NanoMDM?
Are there any other open-source or lightweight MDM solutions Apple developers recommend that are actively maintained?
We are aiming for a reliable, secure, and future-proof self-hosted MDM setup.
Any guidance or shared experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Vijay Pratap Singh

We’re looking for best practices to remotely update iOS apps that are deployed in Single App Mode (SAM) or Autonomous Single App Mode (ASAM), managed through MDM.
Imagine a typical use case: an iPad installed as a self-service kiosk at an airport restaurant. We need to update the app periodically without:
Displaying any prompts to the user
Relying on the user to approve or initiate the update (since the device is unattended)
Sending technicians onsite, as many devices are in remote locations
MDM providers have stated, “This is how Apple handles it,” without offering a workable solution. We’re hoping someone here has experience or suggestions for:
Seamless or silent app updates in SAM/ASAM
Update workflows that avoid interruptions or user interaction
Any proven strategies or automation options under MDM supervision
Any insight or documented approaches would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi there,
I am trying to create an IPsec policy for remote access for iOS devices. Is the full updated list with all the settings, which are supported?
I could only find this article:
https://support.apple.com/de-de/guide/deployment/depdf31db478/web
But I am sure it's not updated:
Authentication Algorithms: HMAC-MD5 or HMAC-SHA1.
Same for DH Groups 2-5
Recently, we have encountered some users who have been unable to open the enterprise signature application after upgrading to version 18.3.2, without an IPS file. Through system logs, we found that signature verification has occurred SecKeyVerifySignature failed: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-50 "rsa_pub_crypt failed, ccerr=-7" UserInfo={numberOfErrorsDeep=0, NSDescription=rsa_pub_crypt failed, ccerr=-7} Waiting for the information, I will provide the obtained system logs below. The application package name that crashed is com. mobile. moonew

Is there a way to restrict an end user from potentially editing a supervised device through Apple Configurator? It seems that Apple Configurator allows to make undesirable changes to a supervised device, like removing profiles, which would in turn be detrimental to the intended experience on the device, if a user would actually be able to perform such changes.

After trying out all suggestions and different versions of tools such as XCode, nvm, yarn, node, etc., nothing works for me
i added :
<PROJECT_PATH>/node_modules/@langchain/core/dist/utils/stream.cjs - add const { ReadableStream } = require("web-streams-polyfill");
npm install web-streams-polyfill
Tried downgrading to Node 18 as well as various polyfills but haven't been able to get it to work
Following does not work in xcode
Delete your Podfile.lock (I like to use the command '-rm -rf Podfile.lock' on the terminal for this)
Delete your Pods folder (I like to use the command '-rm -rf Pods' in the terminal for this)
Delete your .xcworkspace
Pod install
Clear your project into XCode> Product> Clean Build Folder
i have tried
cd ios
pod install
Continuously i am getting same error.
Any one know, how to resolve this error
Last year I used the iOS Distribution Managed Certificate (Enterprise Program) to sign an App and to distribute it internally. The Cert is still valid until May 2026. But its associated Provisiong Profile (which is not visible in the Apple Portal, but within Xcode when you export your archive) expired last week. Until then it was impossible for me to somehow force renew the profile and that lead to the fact that my app was not usable for a day, because the renewal was done after the expiration of the old one.
Whats the whole point of the managed signing if can't influence the provisioning update. To be clear: I don't speak about the certificate - just about the profile.
Or am I using it wrong?
I'm hoping to make certain in-house apps fail to launch by revoking the in-house certificate that they were built on. This is by way of encouraging users of these apps to download updates built on a new certificate.
How long will it take app built on a now-revoked certificate to no longer launch?
Also, what is Apple's process for checking the validity of an in-house certificate in an app built on that certificate, running on iOS devices?
I understand that provisioning profiles have built-in expiration dates, but will an in-house app that's built on a valid provisioning profile keep running even on a revoked certificate if the revocation happened before the certificate's own expiration date?

Hi everyone,
I’m sharing this because I’ve been stuck with this issue for over two weeks, and I still haven’t found a solution — or received a meaningful response from Apple Support.
A yellow banner has appeared on my account saying:
“The Apple Developer Program License Agreement has been updated and needs to be reviewed.”
But here’s the problem:
I’ve already accepted the latest agreement long ago.
When I log into both:
App Store Connect
Developer Portal
…there’s no new agreement to accept, no prompt, no button — absolutely nothing new. The yellow banner simply refuses to go away, and it's preventing updates.
I’ve already:
Cleared cache & cookies
Tried Safari, Chrome, Firefox
Logged in from different devices/networks
Verified that I am the Account Holder
Reported the issue via Apple Developer Support (more than a week ago)
Despite clearly stating the urgency of the matter, I’ve received no fix and no timeline. This is beginning to feel like developers’ time — especially for those who depend on timely releases — isn’t being taken seriously.
So I’m writing here to ask:
🔹 Has anyone else encountered this same issue recently?
🔹 Is there any known workaround or fix?
I’d appreciate any help or shared experience.
Thank you.

Our organization is deploying passwordless authentication. Instead of using a password, employees must use the Microsoft Authenticator app to complete the login process.
Unfortunately, employees with passwordless authentication can't complete the login on the Wi-Fi Captive portal with SAML authentication. The reason is that when an employee switches to the Microsoft Authenticator app, the Apple CNA (Apple Network Captive Assistant) disappears. As a result, the authentication process breaks.
According to the https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=q78sq5rv source, iOS 14+ devices support the RFC-8908 standard. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a reliable source on how this feature works on iOS devices.
The question is: Is it possible to automatically forward Wi-Fi clients to the SAML authentication portal in the default browser app (for example, Safari) after connecting an employee to Wi-Fi?
During VPP app installation, the app-device asset association event took longer than the usual maximum of 30 seconds to complete, regardless of the number of app licenses involved.
I applied over a month ago and haven't heard back to the Apple Small Business Program. What should I do to speed things up?
Hi There
Our app is used in the hospital field and receives remote APNS via the Notification Service Extension.
We found a scenario where screen is on, our app is in background, if a "Critical" notification is displayed as a banner at the top of the screen, subsequent normal notifications will be suppressed and no sound will play. Only after the user swipes away the critical notification will the normal notification appear and play a sound.
is this as expected? I could not find any document on such case from Apple.
Thanks.

I'm currently testing app updates using the App:Managed declarative device management payload, and I have a question regarding app update status reporting.
Presently, by subscribing to the app.managed.list status item, we can retrieve a list of managed applications along with their installation status. Additionally, we enable automatic updates for managed App Store apps using the UpdateBehavior.AutomaticAppUpdates key.
However, especially when a critical application update is initiated, we frequently find ourselves needing more detailed information about the update process. For instance, having status items similar to softwareupdate.install-state and softwareupdate.failure-reason would be incredibly helpful for user troubleshooting.
My question is: Is there a way to obtain a similar level of detailed, real-time status updates for app updates?
Any insights you might have, or existing methods to achieve this, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

We’re exploring the use of Apple’s Automatic Assessment Configuration entitlement for an iOS app currently in the proof-of-concept stage.
We’re enrolled in the Apple Developer Program with an active subscription. Both the Account Holder and team members have accepted all relevant license agreements.
However, when we try to access the entitlement request form at:
We are immediately redirected to:
This happens for all team members, including the Account Holder, so it doesn’t appear to be a role-specific permissions issue.
The app is still in the proof-of-concept stage — there’s no App Store listing or App ID yet. We’re trying to confirm entitlement eligibility before proceeding further.
Questions:
Is an App Store listing or App ID required to access this request form?
Are there any hidden prerequisites (account permissions, team roles, prior submissions, etc.) that need to be fulfilled?
Has anyone here successfully submitted this form — and if so, what steps or conditions were required?
Any guidance or shared experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
