Hi All, im working on a project to send a push notification in CarPlay. Current accepted by apple entitlements is driving. Are custom actions / buttons allowed/supported in CarPlay notifications?

The system calendar when showing a calendar event shows a relative timestamp on the notification versus all other apps which have a timestamp of when the notification was sent. Is there a way to set the timestamp to be relative? I am currently working on a calendar app and we should be able to use the same system that apple uses for its own calendar. I am currently testing the Declared Age Range / Parental Consent flow in the Sandbox environment, and I am experiencing an issue where the RESCIND_CONSENT App Store Server Notification is not being delivered to my server. 🔍 Test Environment iOS version: iOS 26.2 (Sandbox environment) App Store Server Notifications: Sandbox environment 🔄 Test Scenario App Settings > Developer > Sign in with a Sandbox account Launch the app In App Settings > Developer > Sandbox Account > Management > Revoke App Consent, enter the app’s Bundle ID, tap the Revoke Consent button, and confirm that the revocation completion popup message is displayed Check whether App Store Server Notifications are received by the server Confirm that the RESCIND_CONSENT notification is not received by the server ✅ Expected Result The App Store Server sends a RESCIND_CONSENT notification to the Sandbox endpoint The notification payload includes appTransactionId The server can block app access based on the corresponding appTransactionId ❌ Actual Result No RESCIND_CONSENT notification is received in the Sandbox environment ❓ Questions Is this behavior an intended limitation of the Sandbox environment, or is it a known issue or bug? Is it possible that RESCIND_CONSENT notifications will only be delivered starting January 1, 2026? Hey Together, I have seen that critical notifications need to be confirmed by apple to be used. Sadly I couldn't figure out where to ask for that. Context: I have a sports tournament app for Beach Handball. There are a couple of Courts like up to 20-25. The main use for that in my app would be to notify first aiders/Medics. Right now they are called in via Speakers or by the referees just writing that into a WhatsApp chat. As this takes a long time and the speakers can be deactivated due to rain, power shortage or even the medics sometimes are not in range to exactly hear the speakers calling them. To Speed up this process I want them to download the App, Register via an E-Mail or a One Time Code. Now if a referee needs immediate Help from the Medics on their court they can send the Critical alert to the Medics without having to write a chat into a WhatsApp group, to get a call through the speakers 10 minutes later which the medics may not even hear. A couple of weeks ago we had a player falling on her back/neck/head and they couldn't figure out if she broke her neck or not. Luckily the medics were right next to the court and saw that. but what would happen if they were a couple hundred of meters away and did not notice that? I mean the PA system was off due to a power shortage. someone trying to move her? Risking her death? And while we are at it we could add those notifications if a team is missing to a court for a game that already should've started. Critical because it is urgent. Those notifications are handled with care.

Hello, I received emails regarding the change to the Certification Authority (CA) for Apple Push Notification service, however I missed the February 24th 2025 deadline. What should I do? Push notifications to apple devices is currently not working.

The APNs Feedback Service domain “feedback.push.apple.com” was deprecated on March 31, 2021, and became unavailable after August 2025 due to domain name resolution failures. Will this feedback service become available again in the future? Also, is it possible to use the APNs Feedback Service with a domain different from “feedback.push.apple.com”?

In my scenario: I turn off my device's internet Send multiple push notifications via server using Firebase. I turned ON my device's internet again. I only see the last push notification I sent. If there is a Notification Service Extension which has the com.apple.developer.usernotifications.filtering entitlement, then does/how having that entitlement affect the preconditions for the NSE to be delivered a push? Specifically, if the app has not prompted for requestAuthorization() is it expected that the push will be delivered to the NSE or not? Thank you

Hi team, I am developing VOIP feature using PushKit and CallKit but CallKit is not show when app in background or terminate state, now in foreground state I can call reportNewIncomingCall from pushRegistry-didReceiveIncomingPushWith and it's work as expected but the problem is in background or terminate state it's not my setup: PushKit is configured In Signing & Capabilities I add background modes (Remote notifications and Voice over IP) In info.plist I add <key>UIBackgroundModes</key> <array> <string>voip</string> I'm not sure should I create new VOIP Certificate but now I can receive message notification normally. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thank you

Hi team, We've observed that for all background notifications (where content-available set to true, https://developer.apple.com/documentation/usernotifications/pushing-background-updates-to-your-app#Create-a-background-notification), we never received any response with error string "Unregistered". This differs from non-background pushes, where expired tokens are regularly cleared. Is this the expected behavior (i.e., background notifications will not return an "Unregistered" error), or could this indicate an issue on our side? Thanks in advance for any clarification.

Only iOS devices stop receiving notifications after a few days of the app being installed. To resolve this, you need to reinstall the app again. I'm using Firebase to send messages.

We’re sending PTT notifications from our server and are receiving HTTP 403 from APNs for certain phones with the reason field BadEnvironmentKeyInToken. I can’t find this reason documented in Apple’s public error list. I’d like to confirm what this error specifically means and how to resolve it. Is there any callback available when a/all notifications is/are removed from notification tray?

Docs mention the following about the timestamp field returned by APNs: "The time, represented in milliseconds since Epoch, at which APNs confirmed the token was no longer valid for the topic. This key is included only when the error in the :status field is 410." We would like to clarify whether this timestamp is subject to the fuzzy schedule or whether it represent the accurate time of when APNs knew that the token became invalid? We understand that using 410 for tracking purposes is off label. However we still would like to have the most accurate information in regards to when token became invalid. This will help us debug user issues better in cases when they re-install, uninstall, change permission settings, etc.

I’m receiving notifications from all third-party apps that I use however, most of the time there is no sound or haptics with the notification. In some cases, very seldomly I will receive a sound when a notification comes in, but that’s only with one of the many third-party apps that I use. I’ve spoken to Apple about this when this whole problem started during an update that you guys rolled out sometime between September and November 2024. They blamed it on the app programmers but I think at this point we all know that it’s Apple’s inability to accept that the problem is on their end. I never had problems receiving notifications from any of the apps prior to that. I guess my question is will Apple ever fix this or are they going to sweep it under the rug and pretend like it doesn’t exist?

Upload only files to a specific path on the Linux server. keytool -import -alias cacert -file ca.crt -keystore client.truststore.jks Is it possible to just apply it with the above command?
