Gathering Required Information for Troubleshooting Apple Pay In-App Provisioning or In-App Verification Issues While troubleshooting Apple Pay In-App Provisioning or In-App Verification, it is essential that the issuer is able to collect logs on their device and check those logs for error message. This is also essential when reporting issues to Apple. To gather the required data for your own debugging as well as reporting issues, please perform the following steps on the test device: Install the Apple Pay and Wallet profiles on your iOS or watchOS device. If the issue occurs on Mac, continue to Step 2. Reproduce the issue and make a note of the timestamp when the issue occurred, while optionally capturing screenshots or video. Gather a sysdiagnose on the same iOS or watchOS device, or on macOS. Create a Feedback Assistant report with the following information: The bundle IDs App bundle ID Non-UI app extension bundle ID (if applicable) UI app extension bundle ID (if applicable) The serial number of the device. Apple Pay Signature Validation Fails
I'm currently integrating Apple Pay with my payment provider, and I'm encountering a signature validation error during the payment flow. Here's the setup: I’ve verified that my Merchant Certificate is valid, and I'm able to initialize the Apple Pay session without any issues. Also this curl works fine The Payment Processing Certificate was created by my PSP. PSP claims that the payment token signature is invalid during the transaction phase, which prevents payment completion. Unable to enable Apple Pay for App Clip – “relationship 'undefined'” error when adding capability
Hey everyone, hoping someone here has run into this before. I have a fully functional App Clip (com.didyoucatchit.app.Clip) linked to my main app (com.didyoucatchit.app). The Clip builds and runs perfectly, but I’m seeing issues trying to enable Apple Pay for it. When I try to link my Merchant ID under the “On Demand Install Capable” capability in the Apple Developer portal, I get this error: A relationship in the provided entity is not allowed for this request. The relationship 'undefined' can not be included in a 'bundleIdCapabilities' request. Apply Pay or IAP for content
Hi everyone, I am new to Apply Pay, but I have already implemented IAP for subscriptions in my app. My app also has other functionalities, it also acts as a person-to-person marketplace, as users can post events or online courses which can be bought by other users to participate. My question is that I have read Apple's review guidelines but it is still unclear for me if I can use Apple Pay (with for example Stripe) or do I still need to use IAP for this online content. Also non profit organizations also can register which can recieve donations, can I also use Apple Pay for that or do I still need IAP there, because it would be nice if Apple would take 30% of donations.

Domain Verification and applePayCapabilities
We have verified our domain but if the file is removed from the deployed site after verification will this impact using ApplePaySession.applePayCapabilities in real time? We use that method from the JS api in our React app to determine whether or not to show the apple pay button. When that function is called in the browser, do the apple servers ping the https://our.domain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association URL at that time? Or do they check for it periodically? The reason for asking is that with our many environments we wonder if we can verify each environment's domain by adding the file once. The file will be wiped out by our CICD process as it goes up the environment stack through our development workflow. Or do we need to maintain that file for each environment and add something to our build process?

Apple developer ID and apple wallet
Can i, personally, create .pkpass for other companies using my apple developer ID? In order to create .pkpass, I need to create passTypIdentifier and teamIdentifier using apple developer ID Is it okay to create those two identifiers and create coupons or membership cards for other companies? I just wonder if it is against the law or developer guide.

Issue with Test Users in Sandbox Environment Unable to Complete Payment on Apple Pay Demo Page
I am writing regarding an issue I have encountered while attempting to complete a payment using test users created within the Sandbox environment of Apple Pay. The problem persists specifically when trying to make payments through the demo page at https://applepaydemo.apple.com/. Problem Description: When initiating a payment process with either of the following test user accounts. The flow proceeds as follows: The Apple Pay window appears correctly. Processing begins but does not conclude successfully. After processing concludes, there is no prompt for 'Pay with Touch ID'. Additional Information: Device & OS Version: MacOS 15.3.2 Browser & Version: Safari 18.3.1 Real Device or Simulator: Real device used First Occurrence: Before January 1st, 2025 Custom Configurations or Backend Used: No custom configurations or backend modifications are being utilized during interaction with the demo page. Could you please provide assistance in resolving this issue?

Integrating Apple Pay into an HTML inline frame (iframe) on your website
iOS 16 and earlier On iOS 16 and earlier, Apple Pay on the Web required Safari—and all interactions with the Apple Pay API to come from the parent/top level page. In order to facilitate the Apple Pay button in an HTML inline frame (iframe), there will need to be cross frame communication between the child and parent pages. Cross frame communication should be secure and robust, therefore the use of postMessage for this purpose is recommended. The expectation is for all communication with Apple Pay to occur from the parent page, so the iframe must relay all Apple Pay related events to the parent to handle. Some examples: Apple Pay availability: The parent calls applePayCapabilities, then sends the message of the response to the iframe, which then uses the value to toggle the visibility of the Apple Pay button. Apple Pay session: The iframe receives an onclick() event when the Apple Pay button is clicked and sends the message to the parent (providing details about the transaction). The parent create the payment request to obtain the session validation URL, and eventually receive session credentials and invokes completeMerchantValidation() to prevent the payment sheet. After the payment is authorized by the Payment Service Provider (PSP), the parent either: Redirects the parent page to a payment success page; or Sends a message to the iframe to complete the transaction flow itself. iOS 17 and later On IOS 17 and later, the iframe HTML element should include the allow="payment" attribute, which should facilitate the cross frame communications instead of needing a dedicated JavaScript library. This means all of the Apple Pay code/calls can reside in the iframe page—which is typically a hosted page from a Payment Service Provider (PSP), all the parent page—typically a merchant—has to do is add the attribute mentioned above to the iframe element. Important: Regardless of the iOS version, the PSP/merchant always needs to make sure the parent page domain is the one registered in the Developer portal, and used in the request to generate a merchant session via ApplePaySession. ApplePay: Flexible payments/scheduling
On Applepay's docs it talks about the ability to do "flexible" payments and scheduling for future purchases. We need to be able to make only a single approval of an Apple payment for multiple submissions later on. Think, deferred payments at an arbitrary schedule without presenting the ApplePay dialog each and every time. The docs suggest that may be possible, but are maddeningly vague on how to do that. Is it possible or not? Can we store an approved merchant's token for example and leverage that for future transactions?

Unable to retrieve already provisioned passes via Apple Wallet Extension
We have updated the PNO metadata to include the associatedApplicationIdentifiers for our wallet extensions and the issuer app. While we are able to successfully provision the card to Apple Wallet via pull provisioning, we are unable to retrieve the payment passes that have already been provisioned. How can we address this issue? let passLibrary = PKPassLibrary() let paymentPassLibrary = self.passLibrary.passes(of: .secureElement) paymentPassLibrary is an empty array even though we have passes provisioned.

iOS Subscriptions in Russia – Is Apple In-App Purchase mandatory or can local providers be used?
Hello, We are working on integrating billing into our dating app, targeted at the Russian market. Our main requirement is to support subscriptions with automatic renewal and cancellation. We understand that, according to App Store Review Guideline, all digital subscriptions should use Apple In-App Purchase (IAP). However, we are unsure how this applies in Russia, where some local regulations may limit the use of non-Russian payment processors, and where not all Russian bank cards are accepted by Apple. Our question is: -For iOS apps in Russia, is it strictly required to use Apple IAP for subscriptions? -Are there any approved exceptions allowing integration with local processors such as Robokassa or YooKassa? -How are other developers currently handling subscriptions for the Russian market? Adding a previous card to Apple Wallet and Express Travel Enabled
We are working with a large fintech org on project connected with provisioning payment cards to Apple Wallet. When we add a previously provisioned card to the Wallet (using the Wallet UI, Add card -> Previous card). It adds the card on one device showing the Express Travel card screen after the card is added allowing the user to set the card as an express travel card during the provisioning flow but never on our other devices. All of the test devices are clean and have only the same single card provisioned. What triggers the Express Travel Card screen to be shown during the add previous card flow? (Why is it showing on one device and not another).

[In Chrome] Clicking "Close Button" in Apple Pay Popup doesn't fire "oncancel" callback
After opening the Apple Pay Popup and try to close the popup (without scanning the QR Code), the oncancel handler (accociated with the created session) doesn't fire. Meanwhile if the merchant scanned the QR code and the UI of the popup changed, then cancel the popup manually (using close (X) button), it fires the session.oncancel event handler. How to update multiTokenContexts if ApplePayPaymentRequest does not initialize multiTokenContexts
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/apple_pay_on_the_web/applepaypaymentrequest/3955945-multitokencontexts According to this document, I know that I can initialize a multiTokenContexts when initializing ApplePayPaymentRequest. But I am now facing a tricky problem. If the user's order does not require multiTokenContexts, then I will not initialize this field when I first make ApplePayPaymentRequest. When the user is in the payment process, I may update multiTokenContexts. But this time, the update is not allowed, ApplePay will be cancelled and the payment will be closed. For example, if the user's address in Apple Pay is different, I need to update multiTokenContexts to support the payment of goods to multiple merchants, which will generate an update of multiTokenContexts. Could not update App IDs Identifier
We are unable to add/remove Merchant IDs in App IDs identifier profile, after pressing "Edit" button on "Apple Pay Payment Processing" section, then choosing desired Merchant ID to check/uncheck from the available Merchant IDs, then pressing Continue/Save/Confirm buttons - nothing happens, the "Save" button text briefly changes to "Processing" and then back To "Save" and we still have previously enabled Merchant IDs and the Save button is still in enabled state, any help?

cybersource Payment Gateway not able to decrypt paymenttoken
Cybersource production support has clarified issue as below "On the BAD Case, it seems that the Apple Payload did not contain the "onlinePaymentCryptogram" object within the JSON. The Cryptogram is critical and mandatory. Since the merchant cannot really control this, and since CYBS is just decrypting the payload and uses it, we cannot comment as to why it was missing. The merchant would need to reach out to Apple and/or decrypt the payment themselves locally to check if and why this data was not present, for troubleshooting purposes."
